Huge congrats for finally getting AMD to send you the card, seems they finally realized just how informative your videos are 🤝Also quick note, heard you mention that the CPU optimization still isn't perfect in Cyberpunk, but I've checked multiple games and MSI Afterburner seems to underreport all core CPU load in almost all of them. In Cyberpunk for example it regularly reports 70-80% usage (so similar to what you were getting) in CPU bound scenarios while AMD's own overlay shows my 5700X pegged at 100%, which is also more in line with what task manager tends to report. I'm assuming because both are AMD 8 cores you should see something similar, but maybe the 3D parts work somewhat differently so I can't be 100% certain🤔

I gave Boosteroid a try the other day because my PC couldn’t handle Black Cyberpunk , and honestly, it’s a solid option for anyone with a weaker system. I played without any lags or problems-pretty cool experience.
You can use AMD software for monitoring frame gen fps at the same time as using RTSS etc. Awesome video as usual. 7900xtx is a beast. I noticed gpu usage was low with rt on, I am pretty sure I get higher fps with my xtx and usage at 95+.
FSR 2.1 and 3.0 aren't the same, 3.0 has a ton more shimmering on the plants, really noticeable at lower resolutions. CDPR did AMD dirty with this update.
FSR 2.2 or 3.1 with a modded game is the best, about as good as DLSS without messing up with lights and reflections like DLSS does Intel's thingie is also very decent FSR2.1, 3.0 and the DLSS 2 of the version that is included in this game - it seems like they're just trolling GPU manufacturers by using the most glitchy versions possible maybe intel secretly paid them ? since XeSS works fine without all the DLSS and FSR glitches and without a need to mod the game..
Great video. I will say though that you can get a great rt overdrive (pt) experience on the 7900 xtx. I played the whole game that way. You'll want to use XeSS 1.3.1 upscaling though in balanced or performance mode, which will have quality similar to FSR quality mode (yes the FSR in cyberpunk is that bad). That will get you 50 to 65 fps at 1440p with xess performance mode or 45 to 55 fps at XeSS balanced mode. Then you can enable fsr3 frame generation with the mod (which actually works) and basically double the fps. I won't like to my channel but I've got a video of that running around 120 fps with smooth frame times, max settings including rt overdrive, in Pacifica. Like i said i played the entire game that way. There are a couple areas it falls apart though. Performance is too low by the tree in dogtown and also the trees in arasaka tower
Thanks for testing this. Its not working properly on my PC too. The fps counter has a higher number but it still looks like base frame rate or even worse.
You can also try to emptied the sharpness slider. Some games require sharpening to be disabled in order for the FG to feel smooth, like in Hellblade 2 for example. Try it and let us know how it goes. 🤷♀
Cyberpunk can take some hefty amount of vram, i recently, today to be precise, finished playing phantom liberty, and with my rx 7700 xt i had to give up on RT, still too heavy to my liking, needed to drop down to performance fsr to make it hit 60fps most of the time and at that point it just looks bad. Still, i played it at 1440p, maxed out, without RT of course, and it still loooked mighty fine and really crisp in that native 1440p resolution. Point is, it was using 11GBs of vram at 1440p pretty much all the time, which is crazy, i just bought this gpu two weeks ago and it's already close to running out of vram :D i should go for 7900gre instead i guess.
When you do the 20 games I hope you try Minecraft Windows 10 Edition with Ray Tracing. I always hear AMD’s ray tracing is bad but I never hear how it actually does and would love of a little ray tracing test got thrown in for the new Radeon cards
Don't have to restart the game with lossless scaling, and its latest release lets us use X4 frame gen which allows our card to utilize psycho raytracing at 130-144 fps on a 34" ultrawide in dogtown XD. It looks super nice and feels silky smooth.
Can you try the hub optimized settings for this game? i think I saw a while ago a guy got 60 FPS at 4k fsr balanced with RT shadows and relfections. I wonder if AMD drivers improved the performance.
hello kryzzp, i know at one point i mentioned testing the regular 3080, i bought cyberpunk & tested it on multiple settings (including fsr3 frame gen), i found that with the preset on high with 1440p & fsr3 frame gen + path tracing enabled, you get around 90-120fps
I was wondering what to choose 4080S or XTX and I wanted CP2077, and as you can see in your video the choice is quite simple, 4080S + RT + Dlss performance 4K + FG and I have about 115 FPS ( R7 7800X3D ). Your reviews are as usual very good. Best regards
Hi man, probably to late to the sorry and you won’t read it, but like you mentioned before, dog town is extremely heavy in the CPU, Raytracing is super heavy in the cpu, so the 2 combined are why the GPU wasn’t fully utilized in dog town while using the 7900XTX. When doing GPU benchmarks, I think we would all prefer for you to use the city, instead of the liberty city DLC, since that part is more GPU bound, and honestly prettier to look at too.

I have that merc xtx, xfx have overkil cooling on there gpus...but also they are very loong cards 😅
carai.... essa placa conseguiu fazer sua CPU suar!! um canhão
This update got so made started playing with mods. There is a 7900 xtx approach I found that gives you good graphics with only standard reflections on
Awesome
22:03 did just I see 602W consumtion?!?
Probably just your imagination
Nice vid man! What about testing AFMF 2 with the card?
When you do the 20 games I hope you try Minecraft Windows 10 Edition with Ray Tracing. I always hear AMD’s ray tracing is bad but I never hear how it actually does and would love of a little ray tracing test got thrown in for the new Radeon cards
Don't have to restart the game with lossless scaling, and its latest release lets us use X4 frame gen which allows our card to utilize psycho raytracing at 130-144 fps on a 34" ultrawide in dogtown XD. It looks super nice and feels silky smooth.
looks like shit as well
Finally🔥🔥🔥
Can you try the hub optimized settings for this game? i think I saw a while ago a guy got 60 FPS at 4k fsr balanced with RT shadows and relfections. I wonder if AMD drivers improved the performance.
You are the best krizzp❤
WE are the best, together, as a community 😃🤗
hello kryzzp, i know at one point i mentioned testing the regular 3080, i bought cyberpunk & tested it on multiple settings (including fsr3 frame gen), i found that with the preset on high with 1440p & fsr3 frame gen + path tracing enabled, you get around 90-120fps
Bro finally testing 7000 series.❤
I was wondering what to choose 4080S or XTX and I wanted CP2077, and as you can see in your video the choice is quite simple, 4080S + RT + Dlss performance 4K + FG and I have about 115 FPS ( R7 7800X3D ). Your reviews are as usual very good. Best regards
Yeah for cyberpunk the 4080S is definitely the better choice 🙂
Thank you!
Regards
Hi man, probably to late to the sorry and you won’t read it, but like you mentioned before, dog town is extremely heavy in the CPU, Raytracing is super heavy in the cpu, so the 2 combined are why the GPU wasn’t fully utilized in dog town while using the 7900XTX. When doing GPU benchmarks, I think we would all prefer for you to use the city, instead of the liberty city DLC, since that part is more GPU bound, and honestly prettier to look at too.
If amd got gddr6x vram on 7900xtx could almost beat 4090. Congratz for getting first high end amd gpu. Get 7900gre next it is crazy for its price
Thanks! I asked for that one as well 🙂
@@zWORMzGaming nice man👍 have a good day sir, be happy with that gpu
sure but only
if you dont turn on RT, so anyway rtx 4090 is much better
No way, gddr6x give 3% more performance
@@wojciechnowakowski72604090 is twice the price.
Respect 🤍🫡
