- Ridha, a virtue that comes together with sabr (patience), is a state when one is in love. Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad invites us to recapture this beautiful and sweet state, the highest delight that the human being can aspire to, as it is what ummah needs in this period of the pandemic.

"We find happiness through disciplining the self, so that the spirit may become active."
Thanks for capturing that essence of the talk.👍

The wisdom of this man is priceless to the modern human...
Alhumdulillah.
Rumi of the 21st century ❤️❤️🙏
I'm a Buddhist, not Muslim - a fellow Buddhist friend of mine sent me this due to Ramadan beginning. Absolutely beautiful message :) What I particularly liked about it is the connection of restraint and joy - how restraint isn't a bad thing even if it sometimes hard and can lead to a higher happiness. It's a great expression of renunciation, patience/forbearance, calmness/tranquility, and the Four Brahmavihārā (kindness/compassion/joy/equanimity).
My favorite quote from it is at 9:50 when you say "If you love someone really, then whatever they do is part of their lovability and you don't see the things that others might find to be difficult in this person".
May you and yours be happy, well, peaceful, and may all good things come to you!
I just want to sit at Shaykh's feet and soak up all these gems. Alhamdulilah for the digital world we live in, we are so fortunate to be able to soak in all this beautiful advice and wisdom. May Allah preserve you and keep you with us so we may continue to benefit from your lessons ❤
I have same feelings. Thank you for saying what I was about to say. Ameen🙏
The Sheikh gave a talk about celebrity status and I have a feeling he does not approve or like such veneration even though it is from our hearts.
@@Xyz-gf5op please, do you have a link to this lecture?
Noor Khadim it’s same as this one but part 1
Alhamdulillah.
May Allah subhanatwla grant you a long, blessed life dear Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad. Your words are like blessed water of 'Zamzam'- pacifies soul and brings tear drops.
May we the muslim umma find that peace, light, beauty, mercy and love in our 'Ruh'- these are now-a-days forgotten divine qualities; Without these it is possibly not possible to have 'sabr' & have 'rida'.
Ameen
Ameen al Fatiha
Ameen Suma ameen ya Rub
"The beloved's blows, cause no pain". Reminded me of a beautiful hadith about the Sahabi Mu'adh ibn Jabal RadiAllahu anhu : "Hadhrat Mu'adh RadiAllahu anhu was afflicted with the plague and when the pangs of death struck him, they struck more severly than they did any other person. Each time he regained consciousness from his coma, he opened his eyes and said"O Rabb! You may strangle as often as you please because I swear by Your honor that you know how much my heart loves You"!
May Allah bless Shaikh Abdal Hakim Murad.Amin
الحمد لله على نعمة الاسلام و كفى بها نعمة ..
its crazy how i just clicked on this video not knowing what to expect at all. I woke up this morning with some doubts about something so silly that was affecting my faith, but this just beautifully taught me about rida- at exactly the time i needed to hear it.
The lovers are indeed blessed.
In time constraint he has sabr.
Downhill further he has riddha.
In time of expansion he has shukr.
With8n the depth of his ghaflah and heedlessness, he has repentance.
Once a year at the height of Ramadan he is promised of His lailatul qadr..
Mashaallah....
الله يحفظك و كل اصحابك و اهلك و احبابك ،نحبكم في الله،اطال الله في عمركم و افاد بكم و نفع
The eloquence and wisdom in Shaykh's word transiently transports my heart in a state of tranquility. May Allah reward you with one of the highest places of Jannah. ❤️

There was an Australian women who was chained in basement and raped for 20 years by her father.
Why didn't rahman listen to her beseeching for 20 long dark and damp years? It's reported that such was her torment that "It has also been revealed that normal everyday occurrences, such as the dimming of lights or the closing of doors, plunge Kerstin and Stefan into anxiety and panic attacks"
This makes me scared of God.
If he could do this to her then why not me?

How many innocent reverts has T J Winter converted to Sufism over the decades? Inalilahi wa ina ilayhi raji'oon.
A heavy weight for the Day of Judgement.
