The fact that you're here on this video says something. Don't be too harsh on yourself - humans are a rollercoaster of mental and spiritual ups and downs - the key is to be aware of this and push yourself to do your level best in spite of it. We still have the bigger half of the month left - you can certainly do one thing each day to improve, however 'small' it may be (as we're told, God does not allow an atom's weight of good to go unnoticed).
May God help us all to remain steadfast, spiritually alive and well.

Its never too late. The doors of Allah are always open. Don’t waste this incredible opportunity where Allah descends into the lower heavens to ask for you at the end of the night. May Allah give you tafeeq. Allah loves those who constantly repent and come back to him.

    Etika bertetangga :
"Barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir, maka janganlah menyakiti tetangganya, baik dengan kata-kata atau perbuatan. Dan barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir, maka hendaklah memuliakan tetangganya dan barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir, maka hendaklah berkata yang baik atau kalau tidak dapat berkata baik, maka hendaklah berdiam saja, yakni jangan malahan berkata yang tidak baik".

    Dear White people ,
Let's not forget to check our privilege.
I know who my neighbour is and hope that he will act with Adab and decorum even if he is not of the Islamic faith, just as I do with him, being of the Islamic faith. It takes nothing to smile (not raucous laughter), just a smile- I would not want to upset the Sheikh.
Prima facie it is a nice talk about neighbourliness but the sub text is rather dangerous. It is another classic example of assimilation to the dominant culture (whether or not that dominant culture presents an Islamic focus or match to its principles and ideals).
Let's not forget the overly neighbourly attitudes of our hosts who now complain of our rather course and decrepit places of worship, with (God forbid!) a style of our geographic country of old!
We do not all have £25 million to build a mosque in one of the most affluent areas of the country. It is a lovely thought but not always possible.
I digress- the fact is that the host culture has been so neighbourly that they did come and stay at our house some time ago and indeed treat it as their own; so much so they would go to our restaurants, order one of everything and when it came time to pay the bill they did the most unneighbourly thing and ran away- colonialism works like that apparently.
So, we came over to check that our hosts were okay- did they need any more money?- they certainly took a lot from us when they came over to ours, and whilst we thought of asking for it back they were, to be honest, a bit of a bully hence we were too scared to do so.
They said they needed a few people to help unblock their sinks and clean up their rooms, and help drive theornelderly grandmothers around, so we could stay if we did that. As they had eaten us out of house and home, back home, this seemed better then nothing.
We came but were told to stay in the basement- I think they called it East Ham and other such nefarious places with colloquial names such as 'inner city socio-economincally deprived areas of the country'.
We wanted to feel like we were at home, just as they had in our house. We decided to build with what little money we had, small places of worship; granted we wanted more but alas could not afford it. Those lovely white muslims could though, so we supported them but rather then they support us they thought us backward and dirty- coming as they did to our little mosques with Turkic and Pakistani and Bangladeshi and Indonesian and on and on quirky features.
It is also neighbourly to understand that relationships of goodness and faith are built on a history of trust. If you want social capital to spread, try asking if my privilege may not just have clouded my better judgement in offending the millions that have little but give more.
Verily my hangryness may have got the better of me but the point should still be made. Not just checked this through so sorry for any typos.
