They opened their 1983 Mama tour in Normal, Illinois with 2 shows. The first day, I was delivering pizza near Horton Fieldhouse and could see the lights illuminating the roof and could hear the building shaking from the low-end of the keyboards and Taurus bass pedals. I bought a ticket early the next day and was right next to the stage. Best live show I have ever seen, so saw them again in Peoria a few months later. Phil was a master showman and one of the greatest prog drummers to ever take the throne.
