      12:53: never knew Unimogs where a thing outside Europe ;)
      What does the Scientific Response unit do? Is it a special unit for laboratory-accidents or whatever?
      Love that lightbar coming on at 7:53 by the way. Fire department in my city (Purmerend, The Netherlands) used (or still uses, don't know) them as well, but then in full blue.

      @@weeardguy sorry for the late response mate - yeah! only one unimog was trialed at a busy permanent (24/7) station in the states capital, brisbane. the scientific response unit pretty much responds to callouts when requested by hazmat trucks, such as when a chemical is unknown or mainly a chemical incident.

      @@seqemergencyvehicles Haha no worries ;) By trialed I think it wasn't a succes? Can understand. Those things are not known for topspeed ;)

      Nice Catches Sir - You know to tell you the honest truth, when my son went to Australia 5 year's ago he couldn't tell Fire Vehicle's from Police Vehicle's because they had the same color light's, here in our hometown of Concord, New Hampshire (USA) our Fire Vehicle's & Ambulance's don't have any Blue Light's at all, our Police Vehicle's are the only one's that have Blue Light's, plus the only thing on our Police Vehicle's that flashes Red are the LED's in the back brake light's that's it, every other light is only Blue, also Security Vehicle's have Green Light's.

    40:27: Is it normal that the sirens turns on first before turning on the lights? In Europe it is the other way around: First the lights come on, and then the sirens.

    • @seqemergencyvehicles
      @seqemergencyvehicles  Год назад

      no it is not usually done like this. with the fire & rescue appliances in Qld, the driver typically turns on the lights & the Officer In Charged (OIC) does the siren. they're completely separate which is pretty dumb considering sometimes the drivers can forget the lights but the sirens work fine
