Tulsi, prior to this video I respected you. Upon watching this my respect for you was extremely elevated. My wife lost four pregnancies. After caring for seven foster children, and three failed domestic adoptions - we adopted our daughter from China who was an infant at the time. She is now almost 30. Half way through the adoption process she became pregnant. Eight weeks to the day that I brought our daughter home she gave birth to our son. Unfortunately, several weeks after his 23rd birthday, we lost him....I discovered his body. Wish I could be with you in Florence, TX in Memorial Day.

My husband and I had ‘unexplained infertility’ and after nearly three years of trying to conceive naturally, various treatments though not IVF and becoming more and more neurotic about it, my wonderful gynecologist just told me to stop everything. Time out. My husband was sent to another country on assignment for 8 months and she said to go there and enjoy myself and come back and we would begin again. So I did. I switched off. Completely. I think I was just emotionally exhausted. Two months later I was pregnant. Which made made wonder how much our psychological state bears upon it all.

This was so motivating to hear, thank you Tulsi. Our infertility is also undiagnosed, which eventually gave me peace that it was completely God's will for us but it was a struggle to accept for some time and I completely understand the disappointment and emotional hardships. We have adopted 2 beautiful children now and we praise the Lord for His wonderful and perfect plans for our family. One thing I am still learning though - parenthood is one of the hardest thing that I ever experienced.

Having met you last week with my state trooper LT. husband, I already admire you so much. I’m sorry for your pain and humbled by your honesty and courage sharing your raw personal experience and the journey to a place of acceptance and peace which takes such strength and resilience. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and hope to see a Gabbard presidency in the future… It’s obvious you would come at that from a place of service and sacrifice, as this most important of positions really does require to get it right. God bless you, Tulsi, and thank you for sharing. One last thought, the last emotion you should feel is shame and I don’t say that to discount your feelings but from a place of caring and compassion. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for sharing your journey. Infertility is an epidemic that is so heartbreaking. You are right, there should not be shame. Our precious daughter & son-in-law are faced with this also. My sweet girl is so shut down & shut off from us because of her pain & disappointment. We don’t know how to support them - parents project expectations without even realising it. We just love them & hurt for them… 💔🙏🏼

In the Bible story of Abram and Sarai an angel told Abram that his wife Sarai, who was well past the normal age for childbearing, would indeed bear a child by Abram. Sarai laughed when she heard this and didn't believe it could happen; but Sarai DID bear a son and named him Isaac. With God all things are possible.

Praying For for you Tulsi... I feel your pain - I did not have children and this was the worst pain in my life. But I too believe that God has a plan. As CS Lewis once said, with God no pain is ever wasted. This also brought me closer to God. I am blessed with with my brothers and friends children and find my joy in being there for them. When I hear stories like this, somehow I comforted by the fact that I can relate to it and learn for these experiences too. God bless you and Abraham abundantly.
