In the Cuban missile crisis situation, many of Kennedy's advisers were hawkish and wanted him to attack the Russians. I've been around since Ike and am a retired graduate degreed Aerospace Engineer with a large American defense contractor, so I've seen a lot of foreign policies and military adventures and a number of shooting wars and I have never seen anything like how America/Nato are treating Russia...It's like they/we are doing everything in our power to have WWIII. I am flabbergasted every time I see this administration or Pentagon speak on the subject. We should have Russia as an ally not a foe.
