I have color oops in my hair as I’m watching this
The Smith Bunch sameeee literally rn help me please 😂
same
Girl same 😂😂
SAME
same i watch this every time i use it lol
I used this stuff thinking there was no way it was going to remove the blue black box dye Ive been using for years. But it did!
Luna Sangria exactly what I’ve been using for 22 yrs any tips lol
Did it take using more than once? I used yesterday and it cleared portions, but not all
Yes I've been usingBlack Beigen for years And I need help soooo afraid of using color oops
This stuff removed like 10 years worth of red hair dye better than anything else I've ever used when I went from red to blonde
I did yesterday and it work on top but not the bottom I did dark brown but it look jet black. Lost hope it will work the bottom . Any ideas ? I heard loreal color remover works better than color oops .. not sure .
So glad I found your video - you've convinced me to try Color Oops. I'm a natural blonde who went "Soft Black" for the first time today. Never dyed, only highlighted in the past. I hope Color Oops will get me back to some semblance of my real hair. Trying it tomorrow. Thanks again!
Aalia Zaman thanks for watching! im glad it helped. just make sure to really scrub the crap outta your hair when you wash out the color oops or else it will leave color oops in your hair and it could gradually darken over the next couple days! =)
Your advice is the most solid advice I have found on RUclips! Thanks for educating everyone so well!
IT WORKED GUYS!! I added DISHWASHING soap to a shampoo that I had then shampooed my hair FOUR times.. took about 25 minutes shampooing my hair.. ohh and I left the color oops for 30- 35mins ... btw I colored my hair 2 months ago to a color #2(BLACK)
If you have a lot of build up do color oops 2-3 times for greater results!! And after you do this put you favorite conditioner and COCONUT OIL OVERNIGHT!!
what is your natural color and how did the results look
For Red hair work????
thank you for talking about the color oops and getting to the point... thanks
it smells like bad eggs
It's the chemical reaction that helps remove the color.
I thought it smelled like cat food lmao
Ikr it smells like a fart 🤢
Just found your channel and you just gained another subscriber!! I loved how you explained everything! Definitely gonna try this. Thank you for being thorough and simple with your explanation. Best of luck.
When I was using different brands of hair color that was making my hair look dull and weighed down, I would use this every 3 or 4 months, it's safe for your hair and I find it to be the best product out there, I've been using this for years, it's so great to see someone agrees that it works amazing, thank you for sharing 😍
thank you for bringing me down to earth on this one. I was so disappointed two sessions into pravana color extractor seeing my previous bleached level 7 then having it reoxidizing to a level 4. so frustrating! but I have to remember I've puts semi Demi and possibly permanent (salon lied to me) on my hair for like.. a whole year. I appreciate you and this video thank you
I just used the Color Oops tonight to remove a nutmeg semi-permanent rinse by KISS. I’ve been using this color to cover my gray hairs for years. I thought that it didn’t work but after watching your video, I do understand that one application will not be enough, so thank you! I will do another application and continue to use a moisturizing shampoo and add the dish detergent or lemon as well to help aid in removal process. Because my hair felt dry but not hard , I also did a deep conditioning treatment.
You look like that one doctor on greys anatomy!
+Tracy Poliak YES SHE LOOKS LIKE CALI
Callie Torez
Omg she does!
My thoughts exactly lol
Torres!!
This video helped me so much you even specified the red color/brand I have in my hair cause I was unsure thanks :)
I just bought that leave-in conditioner and ITS AMAZING
Thank you! I was curious if color oops was similar to bleach! Hoping to remove my nasty box black hair and move to a semi permanent purple!!
My crazy TIP: I put a completely plastic chair (off our deck lol) in the shower and sat under the water for 20 minutes while watching (listening) to Netflix. Lol. It was much better than standing there shampooing and rinsing for 20 solid minutes
Genius idea!!!
Best Idea!!!
+Heather Stewart +Sparkle 1914 Aww, thanks you guys! I knew they were gals as lazy me. ;) I was just back watching +kirbyxo again as I am about to Color Oops once again and her tips are FAB! Thanks ladies and thanks Kirby.
can I strip my hair and bleach it again
Cassie Bailey Leekam after you strip hair you may not have to bleach it again, but yes you can
I absolutely love your eyebrows, I couldn't stop staring at how perfect they are ..sorry just had to randomly comment on how beautiful they are lol anyways thanks for the tips on the oops hair remover
I’ve used box dye 11 times in a year and I have regrets lmaoo
I felt this......😂😭
Remember semi permanent is best! I dye my hair all colors of the rainbow and some basic semi permanent dye from the beauty supply store works perfect! Color oops ALWAYS strips these dyes out PERFECTLY for me! And I don’t have to bleach it to do a different color. I wish I knew that when I was in HS lol my dumbass FRIED my hair😭
Superficial Persona samee
I've took for the pharmacy 8 (generally two boxs at the same time, I was having a loooot of hair) boxs of bleach and 5 dyes and went once to the hair dresser in 2019, only August to November.. I also have regrets 😅😭
I’ve used hair dye 6 times during quarantine and my hair is feeling it
You have such beautiful eyes! Thank you so much for such helpful content
Well I’m about to start this journey. I’m so glad I watched this first..thank you!!!
Thank you for all of the tips! I used color oops on my black hair but i put coconut oil on because some lady said it'd keep it from drying out. Turns out it blocked the product from lifting my hair to my natural blonde. I'm going to use a second box and i was wondering how long I should wait after the first box to do the second? Thank you so much in advance!
Your eye makeup is beautiful!
Thanks a LOT for this.! It is definitely the most helpful color oops tips video I've ever seen:) keep it up!
Thank you girl so much! I definitely will follow up on your recommendations.
I can't find the following video, I'd like to see what the end result was, did you film it? Thanks, I was hoping to see a tutorial.
Your video was very helpful I have been wanting to go blond but I have red hair mixed with magenta from L’Oréal high color and I have been looking for a way to remove the color and yours is the first one I have found that says color oops will help remove the color thank you 🙏☺️
(Grey's Anatomy) Callie? Lol thnx for the vid, you saved my life!...wouldn't expect anything less from Dr. Torres
just saw the comment +Tracy Poliak totally agree
I love color oops ! It completely removed blue black in one try!!👏👯
Washing with Dr. Bonners soap works well for me and doesn't dry my hair out. I also scrub my hair, like trying to get a stain out of clothing and it works pretty well.
When you've stripped the color out of your hair, when you re-dye it, do you have to dye it a two shades lighter than what you want ?
How does re-dying it work? Any tips? Please help
One shade or use less time 10 min check and 10 min after
"My face is darker than the rest of me...because...
that's just my life..."
😂
What is you added baking soda to the shampoo I know that help clarify your hair and strip all the back stuff from your hair
Thank you!!!!!! I listened to all the tips and seriously you are right on!!! Thank you!!!!!
that is so true! before i dyed my hair blonde my hair was wavy like borderline curly and then for the longest time afterward it turned straight and only now is it turning to wavy texture again
Listen, I used color oops on my extremely cherry red hair, gave me this toned sexy ginger. I bleached twice after my hair was still in good shape mind you, I often change the color. LISTEN TO BRAD MONDO!! He taught me so much. & putting treatments in your hair before a coloring isn’t going to do anything the dye/bleach will eat through it
I have a question, so I dyed my hair for the first time today,I wanted a light brown so I mixed blond and brown together but my hair turned orange, if I use color oops does it all go from the first time??? Thanks
I'm going to use Color Oops to try to get some leftover blonde in my hair... so I would just use it on the blonde tips of my hair, right? Sorry if this is a dumb question!
youre so pretty! love the eye makeup! going to try this color oops tonight.... lol
Oh ok I have to keep rinsing my hair. That’s why it barely worked for me. I wonder if you can add moisture to this. Maybe aloe Vera or something. I need healthy hair but I have too many layers of dye on the mid section down. I didn’t know either that adding even a lighter level of dye will not lift the color. Live and learn. Thank you. Did you condition your hair before or after using color oops. Or both. Thanks again
I've seen some people use this for blue hair and it's taken all the color out but many people complain that the color starts to come back? Do you think an immediate color dye after the coloroops will prevent that? My hair was supposed to be gray and purple but he ran out of dye so he added a little blue...but now my whole head is blue. Desperate to get rid of it, my hair will not handle another bleach.
Do you know if it would remove orange rust "build up" I guess you could say. I'm blonde and got this. Trying it tn.
Hey, so I have black hair with blonde streaks. I had red (magenta lo real Hi color box) before. I want to go lighter now like "dirty blonde" if u will say. Any advice/suggestions on how you think the color oops would turn out for the color I have now?
Does it make a difference if your hair is washed before hand or unwashed???
I've been using box dyr for 5 years... Dark brown. Would be nice to know if there's any chance I can get most of it out 😫
Super clear instructions :) Thank you!
Thanks! I need to make some more informed decisions for my hair. I had been using baking soda, dandruff shampoo, dish soap, vitamin C, honey, hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar and different combos of each. I would say it really lifted my hair at least one shade lighter. I am looking into Color Oops and Loeal Paris Color Remover to compare the two to see what works better. I will try argan oil and orange oil or coconut oil to renew my hair. It had red before black and more black after that. I'm naturally a redhead, but when I dyed it red, it was more of a Deep Burgundy and the black was Bright Black and then Natural Black. I am planing to go to Hot Topic and get purple hair dye, because you know you have to be way lighter to turn your hair purple!
Good luck!! Nice video!!
omg thank you so much ^0^ now I know which one to use lol. You were a great help! 🙆
I had dyed my hair for yrs red and I just used it the other day and I swear it works awesome I'm just doing a second round of it because I don't think I rinsed long enough buy seriously my hair feels way healthier for some reason after and it was pretty damaged before
I bought the extra conditioning and am wondering if I should exchange for the extra strength. My hair is also red. Which one did you buy/use? What color did you achieve? I’d like a strawberry blonde... TIA
Did you use the extra conditioning or the extra strength?
Thank you so much for this video! You have some awesome suggestions! You have a new sub! 😘
Did you ever use a purple that was like a Manic Panic or Special effects? Because I have that under my black, and last time i used Color Zap on it and it turned a bright pink, so I was wondering if you think Color Oops would do anything to help that
Okay so! I have a pixie cut, and I dyed it a dark brown color, but now my natural hair color is starting to show. I'm planning to dye it a different color, but I want it to me more even. Will this DO anything to my natural hair color? Or can I just use it on the dyed parts?
Have question sure said it in here but I have dark brown hair naturally and colored it loreal feria deep auburn but made black had some red but not noticable will take it out? Also do need color hair again after this or will be OK without recolor hair?
The color oops worked great on my hair. The only thing i absolutely hate about it, is the smell. It stayed in my hair for a few days even after shampooing a few times. The smell is god awful but the product works great.
Did it ever go away?
TOMATO JUICE GIRLY!
What color did you remove?
These are great tips! Thank you, xoxo
Thanks for this video! Really helped :D
Chi Willington thank you for watching! xo
Hi dear. im new here. i have a question.
ive been dyeing my hair black and ive been wanting to go red now. the black hair dye was almost a year ago, but i still have a little black pigment at the ends.
i bought the loreal hi lifts in red, and i was wondering, can i just use that and skip color remover?
or should i use color remover first??
I would lovwe it if you could answer. thanks love. @kirbyxo
My hair is super dark but my hair is kinda thin so should I still use the extra strength? I’ve been dyeing my hair since middle school and I’m a 21 year old..
What do you recommend to remove purple?
You brought up the Hi color highlights! That would have been my main question because that brand is part of the underlying color that I want to have removed (I covered it up with Blue Black to go with a Halloween costume) Thanks for the info!
Nice tips really very informative video i seen your channel is very good by most of videos wont be searchable in youtube its better if you try it
interesting video! I have never used this and now a days I am scared to use anything on my hair cause I feel like one day I am just going to wake up hair less ;-/ great Tips ! Thanks for sharing!
your eye makeup is gorgeous.
Love your makeup and piercings 💖💖
Idk if you'll see this but what do you suggest would help the best with mine? Trying to go back to my natural and color oops worked before made it go right back actually because I had a dark brown over it. Since then I bleached it blonde (by salon and they made it gold at ends and white blonde at top) and dyed it the goldish to make it look good then ended up dying purple over it after like a couple months and black over that when it faded a month later. It's been black now for about 5 months now havent redyed I've been stripping it with shampoo. Going to try a box of color oops and hope. (I have pretty short and thin hair as well) planning on getting it light enough to dye the ash blonde over at some point to match my roots
I've been dying my roots at home and then at the salon for years and years to cover my grey... but now I'm letting my grey grow out... would Color Oops help speed things along and not have to deal with this demarcation line? I'm only 9 weeks into my grow out. My hair is dark brown and cut in a bob, so it's not long. Will the conditioning Color Oops work or do I need the extra strength? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
After I used to color oops should I put coconut oil for hair in my hair?? Would it help with the dryness?
Do you think the color oops will remove a semi-perm color in brown?I know you mentioned pink, blue, etc.
I feel like after I used color oops my hair was lighter than before
Idk if she will even see this, but I need to know what I can do to help protect my hairs moisture before using the Color Oops. Some say they put coconut oil in their hair and then the Color Oops to help with some of the dryness ? What do you know or think about any idea like this? Because I did use this a while ago and it took forever for me to get my moisture back and I have curly hair so were talking already dry hair as a curly girl. Thanks so much for any advice you can give me.
Will using color oops bring it back to my natural hair color if I only dyed it once?
I used it on the blue on my hair and it will take it out but I think it would only take out certain brands of semi-permanent colors . I have a built up of different semi permanent color so I'ma have to redo it anyways but does work on certain brands
for those that do not know... Color oops does not make hair blonde, all it does it is take the hair dye out. But if you had bleached hair before the color, then it should go back to bleached.
Ahhhh I wanted to see you demonstrate the product
Hi, I just used color oops. My hair was dark burgundy more on the purple side. My hair turned back blonde but then later turned green. I washed it out as recommended on the box. What would you recommend? Should I try color oops again? 😩 I can’t do this greenish teal color. Please help.
im scared on using this because on how it will turn out on me. i have black hair now. but beofre i had a light hazel brown and some little highlights. after that. i dyed it medium brown. so the lights somewhat went away. and now like a month ago i went for black hair....
question is.. do you have an idea on what color it might turn out on me ??? 😞
and will the highlights come back??
I just used this product two days ago and my hair looks amazing nice brown/red shade I have now and j love it.
I did a five minute hair treatment mask after I did it and I've done another treatment today.
My hair is not weak, it's not breaking, it is healthy.
...but why have I read there are some girls/women out there who's hair is falling out after using this product ?! I'm getting scared now, will I wake up and one day start losing my hair ?! I'm so scared I nearly had a panic attack after reading those horror stories. I almost cried too ,, I don't want my hair to break off.
:( please reply with your experience and your opinion, eager for some responses thanks! :)
I know ur comment is old bit did u hair fall off after using it ?
hi this is probably very late but I'm hoping that u can answer me becus I recently bought the color oops. so I used it and had black hair wit red tints and after using it it became a redish brownish hair n iwant it to be light brown. should I use another box of color oops or should I buy the color blx that I want ?
Hi so I have natural curly hair (b2/b3 hair) and I have a few highlights on the front of my hair. I know that you can only use color oops when you wants to take a color off your hair but I was wandering if I could use it on my natural hair so I don't have to bleach and damaged my hair more.Pleaseee Help me .
I have a quick question. I'm thinking about color oops to remove my black dyed hair, to go back to my natural hair color which is blonde. Should I consider buying a purple shampoo for after, to lighten it up or just stick with a normal shampoo?
if u dyed your hair purple will colour oops work with it ?? .. its kinda faded now it's brown / parts of purple
Do you think freshly clean hair or dirty oily hair is better for this?
Thank you so much for all the information..
I am trying it for the first time..hopefully I will get rid of this black color ..It was a a mistake.😣😣...by th way...you have beautiful eyes!!😊😊
Minerva Rivera did it work for u?
I dyed my hair lighter brown then I bleached it . Now it's a light auburn brown . ( my roots are bLack ) What color what it be??
So do u keep the shampoo in for 20 min, or do u shampoo and then rinse the hair with water for 20min. Cause i shampooed and then kepta the water running rinsing it for 20min.. plus the other 3 times.. feel like i totally messed up
Does the color oops conditioning bleach work on repeatedly box dyed black hair?
I hv mny clrs in m hair...i want ash brown but parlous not suggest me to do so...plz how i do it by myslf
Hello. I'm researching the whole color oops thing because I'm trying to get back to my natural hair color (regular 1B brown hair).
So, I used an Creme of Nature box dye because I wanted my hair to be a light brown sandy color. But, it didn't really fit my face so I basically bleached my hair and then put a brown over top to get back to my natural hair color but it took so dark and now my hair is really dark, with some hints of that light brown sandy color still. It basically looks a mess. Do you think color oops will take me back to my natural hair color or will my hair looked bleached? This whole coloring process took place in the course of like 2 days and that was only about 3 weeks ago.
It will go back to bleached because the bleach stripped your natural colour away.
Hi! So... my natural color is very dark Asian ass hair! Lol But then it has been bleached and toned also a darker shade of color has been applied to the roots... my question is; If I use the Color Oops, what shade of color will my hair be restored back to?
Back to my natural hair or back to the bleached color?
Prell shampoo works great for color stripping with Color Oops. Its cheap and I keep it around for that.
It also helps get hair dye that has stained skin it wont go away completely but definitely helps
is a purple shampoo okay to use?
You are awesome!! I have literally done high-lift magenta. Best video I've found in awhile. Thank you.😅😁
Hi Kirby,
THANK YOU so much for your Video.
I have read that using pure CocoaButter in your hair before dying is fantastic. (Long Hair Forums and MichaelJames bleaching Videos)
I am thinking of using pure Organic Cocoa Butter in hair and leaving it in for 12-24 hours after Color OOPSing.
Was just curious about your thoughts regarding this. I have very long hair land need to get my Morticia Adams Black out! LOL
Thank You!!
Is it best to use on clean hair or “dirty” (day after shower) hair??
I used on clean hair n worked
Thank you. Your video was so informative.
I agree, it's great stuff. Every time I talk to someone about taking out my black color , they would always say BLEACH BLEACH BLEACH... So, I found color oops from 12 yrs+ dying my hair. Color oops did wonders. I did 1 box and follow up with another acouple days later Ned my hair was healthy. Phew!!! I now try to use 'color stains' aka no ammonia, washes out in 28 shampoos and usually about every 4 mnths I remove color and start over again. I also do a relaxer every 6 mnths for the 'KID one 'Just for me' and I'm good. I don't use any product, done deep condition bc I feel it's just going down the drain, but that's me.
For people who use direct dyes, ive used arctic foxes purple rain, virgin pink, and wrath and it removed them all to either a lighter shade or almost brassy. So, it worked for me. But everyone has different results. But i will say, the purple turned green/gray?? So idk
Does anyone know I had black box dye and it took it to a dark brownish reddish...if I use it again in a few days will it go any lighter?
use head & shoulders shampoo it is Ani dandruff and it does help cut through box color
Ashton Wickersham me too and it works as I’ve been dying my hair black since I was 17 I’m now 34 and need to go lighter x
Awesome tips!!! Thanks so much!
Can it remove black hair color i been trying to get the black out my hair and try redoing my color brown again
