I highly recommend taking a look at the Far Cry 6 cinematic trailer sometime. BUT also the intro cinematic. The intro is just gold. Watched it everytime.
About the phantom liberty trailer if you haven't be told already. Its a great dlc that adds alot of great memorable moments to an already Amazing game. I don't want to give away anything incase you play it yourself. A game I have recommended to friend before and would do again
Apex Legends has a whole bunch of cinematics similar to the Overwatch ones and since you already know a bit about the Titanfall universe I think it would be worth checking them out. There is a timeline to follow but I think the official Apex Legends RUclips account already has playlists in the correct order for them.
This is one of those rare games that I got postgame depression from playing because I was so into the story and world. Wish that I could replay it again for the first time 😩
I assume that means you've played Phantom Liberty too? Despite its "less than ideal" launch I LOVED Cyberpunk especially Edgerunners, also playing it on a decent PC after playing through the main game the first time on a PS4 pro 😵😮💨I think the only thing literally carrying me through the constant crashes, bugs and other issues was my sheer love and hype for the game, so the second I was able to play it on PC I just DOVE right in! 😂
Its been 2 months since i finished the DLC and i still get emotional about the ending and wanting to go back. Im just waiting till the game is not fresh in my memory so i can go back and do it all again, even though i know it wont hit as hard as the first time.
Then phantom liberty comes out and gives you so many new endings or continuations depending on what choices you make. I felt the same way when my choices led to the situation where V survived and I was actually heartbroken and felt like I had lost because of my choices.
I still haven't finished the game with a base game ending because I don't want the tory to be over. Easily one of my favorite games and I've been gaming since the days you could be eaten by a grue.
I just started my first playthrough a few days ago so this update is all I know, it's been really amazing so far. Owned the game since release but was not able to play because of performance issues, was around 32fps on launch and now its over 108 on average. Loving it so far and last night I fell into the endless modding pool heh.
I forgot how annoying the rose-tinted fanboys are from this game. The game is nowhere even close to what was promised with nearly a decade of hype. My playthrough just a few weeks ago with no mods still had me constantly encountering bugs. The AI is still brain-dead trash, the city is still extremely empty except for the handful of heavily scripted areas. The "2.0 update" (fucking lol, the game doesn't even feel like a 1.0) was a marginal upgrade to gameplay but the slightly deeper depth to cyberware is nice. And then the fucking gall and audacity to sell a $30 DLC and pretend like its worth half the base game price when the base game is still so blatantly obviously missing a fuck ton of content. The DLC itself is likely made up of cut content they resold. Oh, and they dropped developmental support after doing it. So it will NEVER get better. They've cut their losses (after double dipping with the DLC) and moved on to the next thing. No Hello Games treatment for this one, unfortunately. But the simps watched one fucking anime now things its the greatest thing ever. Honestly, Cyberpunk 2077 being as big a piece of shit as it currently is, is so fucking on brand for the genre. A game ruined by corpos over-hyping and underdelivering.. a true Cyberpunk experience. I'm sure the next game in 10 years will definitely be better and totally not pull the same shit again. Corpos would never lie, right?
@@Nyx_2142 Look mate, if you don't like it, don't play it. Simple as that. Doesn't mean other people can't enjoy it like it's the best thing they had, maybe it really is for them. No need to be this harsh just because it's not your case.
@@WolffQuam I have put 500h into the game because it is the best game I have ever played. But he is right. Everything is true and he is really passionate about explaining his frustration with the game. I understand him. I would name it "missed potential". There was so much potential in this game. And yes there are still bugs and visual glitches that become more annoying the more you see it. I will still play the game and mod it now, i love still love the game.
I'll say your GTA comment is likely what a lot of people thought when playing it through. But part of why I love it so much is because that rug gets pulled out from under you very quick. And from then on it's personally the most unique emotional journey I've been on in a game. Can't sing it's praises highly enough.
I would say if you want an emotional journey even more unique than cyberpunk 2077, try the NieR series games. NieR:Automata and NieR replicant. Cyberpunk certainly has a very unique circumstance for its character slowly dying in an interesting way, but the NieR series overall has a style of writing incredibly unique to the director of the series. After you play 1 of his games, you could just tell without being told if you're playing another of his games. Very unique formula for story and character development in both games. The series is also a sequel that carries on from his previous series called drakengard. The timeline between the first drakengard and NieR:Automata spans around 10,000 years and 2 different universes that are linked but separate. Can't recommend them enough, especially for story, music and characters.
@@kaizammit What you don't know is that woman in the trailer is 'T-Bug' a member of your crew. And although she DOES know 'Dex' she can't canonically be there working with Dexter DeShawn because of something that happens in the mission before this scene..
No lies, Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. The story is absolutely one of the most remarkable narrative experiences gaming has ever put forth. I recommended the game to literally everyone I could.
I couldn't help but laugh when you stopped mid sentence to utter 'oooh hello' when Judy Alvarez shows up on screen @12:27 - that was my exact reaction when I met her in game.
@@kaizammit on my first playthrough I restarted the game with a female V when I learned I couldn't romance her lol. On my second playthrough I made a male nomad V so I could have a happy nomad life with Panam.
The trailer does do some bit of deflection and make you think it IS about revenge. The irony is I don't think Sol gets enough credit for doing right by So Mi (and Myers) even after this event.
@@kfc2180absolutely. All the devs have moved on to Witcher 4 so the game isn’t going to get any more updates. It’s as good as it’s going to get and it is incredible. I absolutely hated it at launch and then went back last year, beat it twice back to back almost 100+ hours each time and then went back and did another full playthrough when phantom liberty came out. So three times in about 9 months haha. I’ve got ~400 hours logged after deeply hating the game at launch.
I wouldn't say that it won't get any updates. Though I agree with you that there will be no more DLCs and large content updates I'm sure they will continue to add little things here and there and add stuff to support new hardware, etc... The Witcher 3 is still getting updates. CDPR doesn't abandon their games and their audience, that's why I was never worried when the game launched. I was sure they will fix it and they did. Also the way they embraced mod support made sure the game will live for a very long time. Just look at how popular are the Stalker games are after all these years. Huge modding projects are dropping quite often. Give players an immersive world and they will come up with the wildest ways to expand it.
@@neutchain7838 "CDPR doesn't abandon their games and their audience" They literally did. They released one DLC of what was likely cut content you should have gotten in the base game and then ended support for the game. " I was sure they will fix it and they did" Fucking lol. Lmao even. I constantly encounter bugs when I play, often requiring reloads or even full restarts of the game. AI is still just as braindead as ever, especially when driving (if you can get cars to spawn at all). But hey, police don't magically teleport behind you so.. its fixed. right? Christ, you are fucking overdosed on copium. You immediately drop to the level of thinking modders fixing and keeping a broken game alive as a good thing instead of being a sign of broken development. Cyberpunk fanboys really do have some Star Citizen level brainrot, but at least you didn't spend tens of thousands of dollars on pixels you'll never see on screen. Need me to give you some Narcan for the copium overdose?
You forgot about the "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - All In" clip where you got Idris bringing you in to the game's world with a song in the background that is from the Phantom Liberty soundtrack, that is performed by, you guessed right, Idris himself! Idris overload!
a bit of some nice little trivia about the first trailer is that we can find the cop girl in game after we deal with a psycho attacking the clothing store we are in and we can comment on her blades saying "they are the 2013 model" and also the guy who points the gun at her head and herself are maxtac, the elite squad of night city police, they are almost all cyber psychos that the police uses to catch other cyber psychos so that's why they recruit her
What's amazing about CDPR trailers is that after finishing game you discover even more depth in trailers like one for Phantom Liberty. Like moment on President's plane where So-Mi doesnt respond to first question from Myers - because she's busy guiding and talking to V.
You can actually meet that first trailer girl ingame, she is a MaxTac officer who once went cyberpsycho, but managed to (almost) cure it. The attention to details is just WOW
I hated that they did that. I play really slow, so when I got to that point, I was already like 30 hours into the game. I was thinking the whole time, "when is this guy gonna die?"
Exactly my thought. I picked it up just when 2.0 came out and didn't remember the details of the trailers. When I watched it later again I was like "yooo, these spoiler intense!"
@@Lucsy3012 Initially in their marketing lies they were giving players the impression they would have branching decisions. So that scene was only one outcome. One of many marketing lies.
@@Nyx_2142 Ah, found the typical hater... Geez, I swear, you people are the worst. How about managing your OWN expectations, hmm? You do have branching decisions in the game, one of the first ones you have to make is "The Pickup", Do you pay Royce with your money, with the militech chip, do you shoot royce, do you save the old leader guy in one of the rooms or not. And that is just one Quest. After all, the game does have seven different Endings depending on your choices and actions. But that is nothing you would ever admit, so how about you just leave the people that enjoy the game alone and go back into your little hate hole.
that first teaser was so unexpected and generated such a big hype. nobody expected THE WITCHER GUYS to make a Cyberpunk game. and this trailer nails it, specially considering the year it was made
When you mentioned Psycho-Pass I knew it was going to be a good video. Very underrated anime and stands as #1 for all series I've ever watched, and I've been watching anime for 25+ years.
@23:28: When car pulls up and camera starts roll sideways along it, it already starting to tell story with those bullet marks. You already can tell that story will be fast and violent. Amazing.
@@chriscofer6780 I never had that issue tho, ppl who played in 4k barely had glitches but sure... alot of ppl had issues during release. But now its fixed and perfect :D
@@chriscofer6780 Haha i mean sure with all my hours ive seen a funny thing or two X) but thats true for all games... best are the "Stiff monsters when dead in Diablo 4" XD
The way you say “God tier storytelling” is exactly what CDPR does with cyberpunk2077 and even the phantom liberty DLC. It is one of my favorite games I have played.
Melissa Rory, MaxTac Lt. You can attack her and get her special mantis blades, just keep in mind you'll be fighting the whole squad of MaxTac inside a tiny shop.
Despite the terrible launch this game had it is now one of the most highly recommended games of all time still having at least 100,000 players every day. This isn't the first time CD Projekt Red has had a rough launch for one of their games but they always do right by their players by fixing any issues.
At 23:00, I really enjoy the pan down from Luxury Sci-Fi to grimey city street, where the protagonist actually resides. So much storytelling in such a short shot! The car is no longer flying but grounded, lighting is dimmed, sordid instead of flashy surroundings...
If I remember correctly, the first Cyberpunk 2077 teaser from 2013 was made by Platige Image. While on the English Wikipedia you can only see that they worked on trailers for the Witcher games, they also did trailers for For Honor, Skyforge, Frostpunk, Watch Dogs 2, Prey, Hitman: Paris, Hitman: Sapienza, Dishonored: Death of Outsider, Total War: Warhammer 2, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Skull & Bones, Watch Dogs 2 TVC, League of Legends (Mid-Season Invitation), Age of Magic, Frostpunk City, Total War: Three Kingdoms, God of War, For Honor: Marching Fire and Total War: Warhammer III.
Also to add more info: when the teaser was made, only a couple of concept artists worked on the game, basically they only fully began working on it after releasing Witcher 3 (or finishing the Witcher 3 DLC, don't remember exactly the details).
@@KapitanWasTaken Yes, at that time they just bought license for Cyberpunk, two years before Witcher release and two more years before they finished last DLC and updates. 4 years when only minimal team worked on a concept for this game.
The one you analyzed is my favourite game cinematic of all time. Very insightful information in the breakdown. You're hilarious and seem to know your shit!
13:05 Did you recognise the character from the anime? Adam Smasher is back! In the game you can fight him and beat him - do it for David Martinez and Rebecca!
Just discovered your channel and I love your breakdowns and the tiny details us non-cinematography viewers wouldn't notice! Would love to see your live reactions to gameplay maybe as a VOD or stream in the future 👀
you have to do the phantom liberty trailer breakdown! i've watched it like 15 times, and i still feel the emotions of it. I've never felt that way about any sort of trailer before
I love that in few trailers they show "date of realese" as "it will come when it will be ready". But they were force to release game 2 years early. And everyone was mad that somehow it wasnt ready. XD
They weren't forced to do anything. They delayed it three times after they broke their own release dates and after they said it went gold. Most gamers have short memories but cdpr pulled a host of seedy sht leading up to release, that's why they got sued and why the game got removed from the playstation store.
@@VaultArchive72bruv stop. They were forced to release before it was ready. The fans were sending death threats to the devs and threatening to boycott if they delayed it again. The shareholders got all nervous that the game wasn't out yet, saw all the outrage from whiny fans and threatened the cdpr executives who in turn made the devs release the game early rather than delay it further.
@@toasterowens8916This is horse shit and you know, probably got one weirdo “fan” sending a death threat and that was enough for corporate to release it, the game was being made before next gen hardware was a thing yet is still in an awful state on now last gen hardware.
@@kaizammit I did, but the blades didn't drop, so I reloaded the save and tried it later and I got the blades. You can also get the exact same model from Hands in the PL dlc if you side with reed and while you stop a maxtac convoy transporting songbird you text the location to the fixer. Then, he will give you the choice of getting a quickhack from a former coworker of tbug or getting the mantis blades I mentioned before delivered to your apartment
the cinematic trailer for phantom liberty was genius, it misdirects you one way while telling you everything you need to know about the plot of the dlc at the same time, most of us thought the same as you when first seeing it but theres so much more to it
I remember when I saw the first teaser around 2013, and "If this come out I need it" After the time fly away, and come the jokes to the 2077 mean the release date of the game. But after come the release date, I pre-order it, and I start playing it on the first month. (I don't want start it before I finished a project for my ex company, so I can't start it at day one). This year I played again with mods and it was fun. I think this game will replace me the Skyrim (or not, it will perfect beside it)
To your point on how Johnny was lit(Keanu) it could be a representation of the fact that he is a visible only to the player as he is in the mind of you character. He appears either how he wants to be seen or that he appears clear always. In-game if you use the zoom function of your cyber eyes. The audio of where you are looking gets digitally enhanced and it is very clearly digital. But Johnny's voice is always clean as he is literally in your head. I wouldn't be surprised if that was intentional by CD Project Red. Sorry if this spoiled anything for anyone, but honestly the trailers did worse we just didn't know it at the time.
I remember watching the E3 reveal trailer and when it showed Keanu in game people went nuts, then Keanu walked out on the stage people absolutely lost their shit! I would definitely play this game now. Sadly when it launched it was in a pretty bad state, it need more time in quality assurance and bug testing. Thankfully with patches etc they managed to pull it back and its now a fantastic game.
It's launch was really only bad on last gen consoles. Performance wise, it was pretty tech forward on PC, so people with older GPUs and CPUs had issues.
@ZeallustImmortal As someone who played on a Series X and PC at launch, it wasn't bad. Sure, it had some stability issues, but in 90 hours, I only had 4 crashes, but the overall framerate was pretty stable.
@@AhegaoComics And for everybody like you that makes that claim theres tens of thousands where it didnt work. So youre either an outlier, or just a liar.
This is my favorite game of all time, dispite its rocky release its near perfect in my eyes. Thanks for reacting to these! Keep up the excellent content
The entire game is itself a cinematic curiosity and masterpiece in storytelling. Forgett everything youve maybe seen ingame from other rpg open world games like the even more recent starfield. Heads just looking at you, moving their mouths uncannily. The entire game is basically shot in first person. which seems odd at first when looking at other rpgs but it makes for a crazy intimate experience. The combat and gameplay in gerneral have seen great improvements through updates and love from the devs and are A+ these days. But where the money really shines is in basically every animated seqence ingame. The mocap is insane as are the facial animations. I have never seen and felt a game or movie being so intimate and personal.
You can tell this guy is good what he does the way he completely locks in immediately to all the technical aspects of every single shot lol Quite impressive
The trailers at 6:08 the motel one, the one at 10:45 the fixer and the last one at 14:40 with Idris Elba where all made by a swedish studio called Goodbye Kansas. They where all rendered in vray so no in game stuff, anything from the game was reworked and and adjusted to work with the increased fidelity.
This game has become a masterpiece ever since 2.0, i've had such a blast with it and Phantom Liberty only added to it. For me the fact u can do your own playstyle is what really does it for me in addition to the setting, i went for a Netrunner/melee build with some stealth added and its so much fun hacking enemies or getting in and out of a place without getting detected. I loved how u did the breakdown and just enjoyed it, hope u have alot of fun with the game 😊
Would love to see you reacting to Edge Runners, The rest of Shogun? Little series' with you going through each episode, covering all of the details, tricks etc employed throughout would be awesome. Loving the content, stay awesome bud, all the best. =)
At the end of the E3 trailer I suspect they left the final bit without dialogue because they understood the noise from excited cheers in the audience would be too loud to make out any lines.
There is a music clip for the ending of phantom liberty going with the song of the same name. It relates the story of the extension with very special visuals
Imagine - there are many cinematic mods for Cyberpunk 2077 game, with even very more realistic visuals then in those early stage trailers. And i mean, it's looking better in game then here. Mind-blowing
I remember when the first trailer for Cyberpunk came out (the one with the cyber psyco woman). i was 12 years old in secondary school. The game finally came out when i turned 20, and what's cooler is that you can actually meet her in the game as a Max Tac opprrator.
Your reaction to Judy showing up for the first time was perfect ha I didn't pick up Cyberpunk until a few months before Phantom Liberty and I'm so glad I didn't because that meant I got to experience the game as it should. Easily the best gaming experience I have had in 30 years. Miss the characters like I knew them!
As a big project red fan I was nervous when they said we are making an exclusively first person game because normally their games are in third person. However as soon as they showed what the game play was going to be I was sold instantly. The game being entirely in first person sells you that you are V and the game reacts to how you play and what your V is doing. I highly recommend you play this game or watch the cut scenes because there’s so many choices that change and when you’re in the game in first person you feel every hit and gun shot and the weight that they carry because of how much they impact the story.
Cyberpunk 2077 is probably my favorite game of all time at this point. I keep going back to it. It is gorgeous and fun. I am hyped for the follow up in a couple years.
Hey Kai, great vid man. I was wondering... when you go over trailers, cutscenes, etc on RUclips, does that help you with your everyday life as a filmmaker/ cinematography expert? The way I see it, you really know your stuff when you can teach it to others in a way for them all to understand.
Absolutely it helps, being that they are done in crazy worlds and within a gaming space, it allows me to translate that information over to the real world where I work. I may have seen a camera movement that could be perfect for something I'm writing right now for example. It opens your mind plus it allows me to sometimes see that game cinematics are not always getting it right so to speak. Not the case here! haha.
Do you have any recommendations or have you thought about making an introductory video for people who don't know any of the lingo etc about framing etc, the fundamentals of film making? That'd be awesome!
Seeing that original teaser, how much was promised, how much people got hype, and how far away we were but how much in the end it did show the spirit in which the final game ended up in due time.
I absolutely love that so many videos showcasing the story & content of cyberpunk are only coming out the past couple months (since starfield released) 😂
Cyberpunk 2077 is BY FAR the most immersive game ever made, especially when played in VR. The face expressions you can clearly see in first person view and the fact that the entire world is completely seamless - no loading screens between locations at all.
this game teached me that every story always has its own bittersweet moments….every ending is a happy ending on its own…depends on how you perceive it to be. but my favorite true ending is phantom liberty its bittersweet but perfect its honestly the best DLC for a game ive ever played
One of my fav games made amazing story telling, raw real destopian relatable. With a lot of future and cyberphunk in it as the name says. The world of tthis game is amazing and i wished there was more to this game was sad start but they redeemed themselfs with version 2.0 wished more games where like this. Loved your review on all the marketing vids never really spended time on them but i really liked your review and explanation. Made me respect this game even more :)
I think one reason they kept samurai's head out of the early shot is that you can customize the character in game, so it lets you project into him before he steps forward.
Hello, mate! Great content from an interesting point of view. Just one thing: game engine footage is not always gameplay footage, as you’ve seen in the second trailer. Sometimes, developers showcase graphics without a functional game behind it, and with no "weight" what the engine must handle during gameplay. Cheers.
Cyberpunk and the dlc they released is amazing the game is beautiful the characters and city is beautiful I can’t wait for Orion to be released in ig around 5 years from now that will be amazing
3:37 actually it's true, the lady on the white short dress was a Cyberpsycho and became a MaxTac Cyberpsychos are the people who are too much on cyberware implants therefore making them mentally insane which makes them lesser human MaxTac however are the like, special ops of Cyberpunk 2077 designed to eliminate all the Cyberpsychos, they were once a Cyberpsychos themselves hence making them a MaxTac. So yeah you're def right about it
I think the reason V looks at us in the mirror is because we are him. the whole game plays in the first person. In the game when we look in the mirror we look directly into the eyes of our character.
The woman you saw turned into a Maxtac agent (or a cop as you would likely know it) was named Melissa Rory. It’s a bit of lore than Maxtac takes Cyberpsycos and turns them into police.
Fun fact about the first cinematic and why it is one of the best ones I've seen being made for a videogame: That girl that massacred 14 people is named Melissa Rory and she is a Cyberpsycho (in short a crazy person due to augments massing with their brain), the police force you saw is a special unit called "MaxTac" that is being called in only when it is absolutely necessary, they tend to kill their designated targets on sight and never ask questions after. Sometimes however they make an exception for Cyberpsychos, if they are cooperative enough, they can offer them "work" in exchange for not getting a bullet, this is exactly what happend with Melissa - she gave up and saved her own life by joining MaxTac. It's nothing unusual also, there are many Cyberpsychos that joined MaxTac and are in active duty, which explains why they are so effective at their job. Outro is also a very interesting thing because, at least in my eyes, this scene takes place few minutes before Jinguji raid, where V (main character) and Zane Jagger (owner of the Jinguji store) get attacked by another Cyberpsycho and MaxTac was called in to help. You can see in game that Melissa still uses her old blades that you can see only in this cinematic, they are unobtainable in game at all.
You can get the semi-unique Max-Tac Mantis Blades from her if you kill her and her squad at the Jinguji. However, this is no longer the only way to obtain them. They will also appear as a potentially missable reward from a certain quest outcome in Phantom Liberty. I haven’t compared them side by side with the trailer, though, so maybe they aren’t the same visually.
I always thought the backlash on initial release was waaay too harsh. Still do. But seeing these trailers and spots reminds me just how absolutely jacked hyped launch was. The extreme disappointment with the buggy mess at launch is understandable. I'm so glad I waited till 2.0 to play through. It took a few hours to sink in, but once I did, Night City was a dynamo of immersive storytelling. A genuinely fantastic achievement!
SO , cyberpunk was originally a tabletop RPG, like D&D. first published in the late 80s early 90s. The game was set in 2013, then 2020. and the current edition of the pen and papper ttrpg is set in 2045. the guys at RED REALLY ddid their homework in the pen and papper ttrpg
If you have a suggestion or a piece of content with an amazing story, please let me know, I would love to see it!

A game ruined by corpos over-hyping and underdelivering.. a true Cyberpunk experience. I'm sure the next game in 10 years will definitely be better and totally not pull the same shit again. Corpos would never lie, right?

@@WolffQuam I have put 500h into the game because it is the best game I have ever played. But he is right. Everything is true and he is really passionate about explaining his frustration with the game. I understand him. I would name it "missed potential". There was so much potential in this game. And yes there are still bugs and visual glitches that become more annoying the more you see it. I will still play the game and mod it now, i love still love the game.
Love the short pause and “hello” when Judy comes on screen. Same, friend. Same. LOL

Panam was the one for me but I’m just starting the video idk if she pops up in one of the trailers

The phantom liberty dlc is not at all about revenge. Actually it's more about guilt than revenge or even forgiveness.
The trailer does do some bit of deflection and make you think it IS about revenge. The irony is I don't think Sol gets enough credit for doing right by So Mi (and Myers) even after this event.
is it worth playing? Havent played since launch, I enjoyed it and had no issues but figured the longer I wait the better playthrough 2 will be.
The Phantom Liberty Expansion for this is a spy thriller... with an AMAZING piece by Dawid Posiadło. Very Bond-esque
I'll never get over Jackie's death...we didn't have him for long but the time we had...he'll never fade away.
These trailers give me chills all the time. Can't stop digging Night City!
You can actually meet that first trailer girl ingame, she is a MaxTac officer who once went cyberpsycho, but managed to (almost) cure it. The attention to details is just WOW
I met her and my mind was completely blown. She's a proper nutter
I'm glad I just saw the trailers once I didn't remember they showed Jackie dying
Exactly why I dont watch trailers for anything

And that is just one Quest. After all, the game does have seven different Endings depending on your choices and actions.

Despite the terrible launch this game had it is now one of the most highly recommended games of all time still having at least 100,000 players every day. This isn't the first time CD Projekt Red has had a rough launch for one of their games but they always do right by their players by fixing any issues.
To think the lead dev said he was an inch from giving up before they started fixing it properly. Glad he didn't!!

This game is ... different.
By far the most entertaining game I've ever played, and I've been playing games since 1998.

At the end of the E3 trailer I suspect they left the final bit without dialogue because they understood the noise from excited cheers in the audience would be too loud to make out any lines.
There is a music clip for the ending of phantom liberty going with the song of the same name. It relates the story of the extension with very special visuals

I remember when the first trailer for Cyberpunk came out (the one with the cyber psyco woman). i was 12 years old in secondary school. The game finally came out when i turned 20, and what's cooler is that you can actually meet her in the game as a Max Tac opprrator.
The sobering thing about the trailer with Jackie is that you can see the EXACT moment the life leaves his eyes.
I do recommend playing this especially with the Phantom liberty dlc the game is amazing

Unfortunately you missed out big time by not watching the "V" launch trailer.
Seeing that original teaser, how much was promised, how much people got hype, and how far away we were but how much in the end it did show the spirit in which the final game ended up in due time.

I think one reason they kept samurai's head out of the early shot is that you can customize the character in game, so it lets you project into him before he steps forward.

Hello, mate! Great content from an interesting point of view. Just one thing: game engine footage is not always gameplay footage, as you’ve seen in the second trailer. actually it's true, the lady on the white short dress was a Cyberpsycho and became a MaxTac
Cyberpsychos are the people who are too much on cyberware implants therefore making them mentally insane which makes them lesser human
MaxTac however are the like, special ops of Cyberpunk 2077 designed to eliminate all the Cyberpsychos, they were once a Cyberpsychos themselves hence making them a MaxTac.
Fun fact about the first cinematic and why it is one of the best ones I've seen being made for a videogame:
That girl that massacred 14 people is named Melissa Rory and she is a Cyberpsycho (in short a crazy person due to augments massing with their brain), the police force you saw is a special unit called "MaxTac" that is being called in only when it is absolutely necessary, they tend to kill their designated targets on sight and never ask questions after.
That cyberpsycho turned MaxTac officer in the first teaser is Melissa Rory, you can meet her in game at the site of another cyberpsycho incident
You missed quite a few trailers, but you got most of the important ones. Great analysis!
I tried to go for the cinematic ones and thank you for watching, I'm glad you liked the breakdown.
