I've used LEGO Mindstorms before and it's fantastic - accessible to novices but still fun for experts. It's also super durable for what it is Highly recommended 👍

suggestion: make a noise near camera when the photo is taken, and delay the treat a little so pup will look at the camera!!
I had a similar idea. Make the dispenser delayed by a random time so you can catch the dog at various points of it's reaction. I think once the dog is used to it you will end up with hundreds of exactly identical photos if you don't mix things up. Maybe have two dispensers operating randomly?

@@sadyechester6934 Good news! There is nothing sacred about green for green screens. They are just that color because people don't tend to have a lot of green in them. Just manage the lighting so that the background reflected light doesn't end up on the subject.
I think blue screens for film had an actual technical reason behind the color.

@@kell8034 After seeing the finished result, that's probably going to be necessary. Those bricks are awfully shiny. Maybe the software could deal with that, I don't know.

I remember years ago, I made my first pair of roller skates as a 8Y/O kid with Legos. I'd ride that around to prove to my parents that I can ride roller skates so that they'd get me a real pair ! :p

Sweet. That wasn't even a course that existed when I went to university so I took Electronic Engineering instead. In hindsight Lego involved way less vector calculus.
Dog Photo Booth 2.0: use all green bricks to make the inside of the booth, have the button also trigger a random image search to use as the background, do some programming to mesh the photo with the background

I dont wanna be one of those guys that say my state is hotter then yours, but unfortunately i will be one of those. Try visiting Arizona that will melt your eyes not just tan them or sunburn them but actually hurt yea its pretty incredible how hot its been getting also, although for people growing up in California of course its going to be very hot and unbearable.

Yes eyes can sunburn. I googled it!

Like sand it your eyes that doesn't wash out. yes, "uncomfortable symptoms..." Thankfully not personal knowledge.
By the way; don't be in the same room as an UV-C sanitizer bulb.
In Norway we call it "snøblind" (snow blindness) since most people get it when they go skiing on sunny days without sunglasses.

As a welder, I can tell you that you definitely CAN get sunburn on your eyes. The common "welder" term for it is sand-eye, and it feels just like that, sand in your eye.
For the record: yes you can sunburn your eyeball. Well, your cornea specifically. I've done it, it was awful, and I highly recommend sunglasses if you're going to be staring at white, sunlit surfaces all day.
Not only that, but also happens to people using welders and plasma cutters w/o eye protection.
Whatever you do in life, USE PROTECTION!!!

I dropped my sunglasses off the ski lift. I made a note of the pole number, but apparently, so did somebody faster than me. That was the most uncomfortable ride home. I'm glad I wasn't old enough to have driven myself. I would have had to call for someone to rescue me.
I had my West Highland Terrier for almost 18 years and he also had one floppy ear. They look similar. This was so cute! 📸🐶
