I play Helldivers since 2015 and the attention this sequel gets makes me so happy. Also makes me happy for Arrowhead, love them guys

So crazy you said big “Lost Planet” Vibes as soon as I finished my 1st mission I said the same thing miss lost planet this game 💯 gives the vibe.
Can’t wait to see the hardcore players that used to make solo Helldive difficulty videos, try it with Helldivers 2.
Haha, this is an entirely different game though. Lot less enemy manipulation and fine-tuned movement from what I gathered in the first few missions.

I was thinking that over lunch time that there was no way I was gonna solo the harder difficulties anytime soon. Which makes me so happy. I'm really enjoying the game

I used to do Helldive missions all the time.. I got so good that I had almost a 40% success rate :D

The game has more than tripled the amount of players the original had at it's peak, I think they're doing pretty fine.
It's literally the top selling game on steam, currently. That despite the review bombing that has it at mixed.

that entry to the planet was so cool! seeing the ships firing and other helldivers coming in :D
A lot of the game is diegetic, so the loading screen is actually dynamically populated.
If you drop onto a planet with a lot of other players, there’ll be lots of other pods in the background dropping with you, and loads of Destroyers in orbit alongside your own while you’re aboard your ship.
It’s super immersive. I love this game.

I have never had so much fun with total randoms in my life. Like, it's fun to bring along friends, but it still feels great with random people too

are the mission shorts?i play yesterday and the fisrt missions was too short, i go to sleept but unlock the medium leve , dont know if the game later is more lenght in missions and hard to best the levels

I gotta say the carnage and explosions in this game are fantastic. This looks like it'll be a blast to play with people. Especially if they include some really huge bug enemies.

Yeah there are,at "lower" difficulties there are some heavy armoured bugs that want to stampede you,and they're BIG and scary.
At higher difficulties you literally have bugs that are high 10-15 metres at least

As a veteran of the first Helldivers, I wholeheartedly believe there are more nightmarish beasts/ enemies from each faction waiting for us on higher difficulties. 😂😂😂

This is the type of game I have been waiting a long time to play with friends ! Not hyper sweaty and competitive that will make people pissed. But, a fun coop game
on the harder difficulty i was getting a liiittle sweaty im not gonna lie haha

Should try starship troopers
Its very cool that i know i was fighting on those planets with the other streamers.
Its a silly thing but knowing everyone is in the same fight is really cool
The in game music with your logo at the end is a perfect match!
The dropship is called a Pelican and the helldivers come down in orbital drop pods, there's a lot of Halo influence here and I like it.
It's like Halo and Starship Troopers combined with some RoboCop in it's satire, love it
To be fair, Pelican 1 is just the call sign for the drop ship. But I still agree.

Name selection for ship have alot of Halo references as well. I.e Executor, Arbitor, Halo etc
Friendly fire can only ever be ON in Hilldivers. I liked that you ran straight in front of someone's gun right after telling them that it's on, typical gamer move XD

This actually looks really fun, I gotta say. I like the idea of a casual and fun shooter with friends (I know there's others). The Starship Troopers vibe is just a plus imo lol!
The launch was a tad rocky, though. But they seem to be getting the servers significantly more stable now.
This game is like if call of duty cared about their game, these guys are actually trying to stay alive

I'm fairly sure that Helldiver's approach to difficulty is not to increase the health of the enemies, but to throw larger groups of higher tiered enemies at your group

Reminds of a broken Gears of War with crummy graphics, broken matchmaking and terrible PC performance...slow/clunky gameplay isn't more fun than playing couch coop with your friends. It only lets them sell you MTX because you can see them better.

OMG the visuals and lighting in this game look AMAZING! The Aurora in the sky and the bug nests glowing like lava look beautiful at night... I can't believe how much work Arrowhead have put into this game.. Helldivers 2 could end up being my fave game of all time!

If you played the first game you will know how much of a step up part 2 is graphically. Also this from a small studio of 100 people that delivers better quality than most of the big AAA developers. @@Matt-jc2ml

never seen gameplay or even given this game one thought. As soon as i saw those orbital strikes i was hooked.🤩
The Hellpods being timed to the music is a beautiful addition.
I got this game. Played a lot of coach co op with helldivers 1. This gotta be one of the best co op experiences ever.
How is online looking right now on PC? I definitely want to pick it up, but have no friends with the game though.

they're called terminids, but bug is like a slur
its an alien invasion alright, but you are the one invading the aliens
in Helldivers 1 atleast, its heavily implied Super Earth is waving wars of aggression to conquer planets and get their resources
same with Starship Troopers if you pay attention
you aint seen nothing yet brother. this is just the 1st alien type and theres more than just “bugs” in this game

I have to say that Stratagem control system is really cool, I've actually wished games would implement that kind of scheme as an alternative for weapon wheels etc. for a long time

The music during the drop sequence never gets old
It's amazing. Just the suspense it can go so fast from control to carnage and be slaughtered.
Things can go from dead quiet to absolute insanity SO FAST. The game is deceptively complex though and rewards smart decisions. I realized far too late that you can actually just sneak by many patrols, or if you kill them fast enough they aren't able to call for backup. Works with both bugs and automatons.
This game is wicked fun!

It's amazing that this looks so much more fun than the Starship Troopers game. I enjoy that game, but this looks so much more weighty.

My guy loved this one too, just like he loves every game.
One small tip for less friendly fire crouch or go prone if you're the guy in front holding the line or when you have to absolutely pass in front of someone shooting in a narrow corridor.

Yupppp. Me and 2 buddies couldn't put it down. It's like every time we unlocked something new it was just even cooler than the last thing. The build variety and strategies that people develop are gonna be dope with some of these higher level strategems.

It won't win, with how diverse the gaming community is, the fact is everyone and their mother are complaining about this game, shows that it's definitely not for them, spreading lies about this being p2w, is not true at all....like....edf6 is going to be like the rest of them, a underrated gem where the game is going to be recognized by die hard fans
The crazy thing is that it's only 60 fps 1080p upscaled to 1440p on PS5

Huge fan of the first one and im really enjoying this one. I just wish helldivers 2 had vehicle's and mechs from the start. Its what made the original so good
My only issue is the servers and the lack of a lobby menu
The first helldivers didn’t have mechs at start either they were added in later
