Since RB didn't bring any major updates since quite early last season, the other teams could only copy RB's old stuff. Other than Merc or Ferrari comming up with something of their own, I think the gap RB has over the rest of the field will once again increase. Well. They tried at least... Congratulations Max Verstappen for a perfect season. And for killing Formula 1 in the process. Then Mercedes and Hamilton happened for nearly 8 consecutive years where there was almost no-one other than his own teammate who could challenge him. Now we are at a point where the fastest car and driver combination just cannot be beaten full stop. What do you think the next evolution of dominance is after that? Season clean-sweeps becoming the norm is NOT healthy for any sport. There needs something to be put in place to stop this from happening. I believe there's so much you can develop a car under a set of regulations. Once RB hits that ceiling, other teams will catch up and we will have a competitive season.
This year (and the previous) we have the most unluckiest drivers in a single season, there is Hülkenberg with no podiums, Charles with worst pole-to-win ratio, Lando who is just not getting his first win and most podiums, Checo who took the longest to get his first pole and win, Carlos with the most races before a podium and so on
Another year of Red Bull & Verstappen domination.. But let's see if Ferrari can get their strategies up to par this year.. Edit: How does Tommy get younger over time?! Some kind of timelord or something?
From some of the rumours I've heard about RB, this year's car is again gonna be extremely good. So the other teams really need to produce something really special to be able to challenge RB/Max.
6:10 Can you imagine when the car is capable of actually fighting in the races for the wins? This "Pole/race wins" ratio will become even more irrelevant because those poles will lead to Charles actually winning those races.
The Red Bull when driven by Max Verstappen had at least another second per lap in hand last year. There was never any hope of anyone catching him, and no one will catch him this year unless someone on the grid manages to gain three seconds over last year while keeping the tires alive for 60% of an average race distance.
Max only won by 10 seconds because he stopped pushing when he got out in front because it is not smart to over use the tires if there is a safety car. If you rewatch races it wasn’t that he couldn’t pull out a bigger lead it seems like the team gave him target times once he was out in front by 10-20 seconds.

Obviously the three men who have done it multiple times already have the stones, but who else? Charles, probably. George too. Does Lando? Carlos Sainz Jr.? What about Danny Ric? Anyone else?
Well, experienced fighters like Lewis and Fernando. Among the rest, I would say Daniel, and Oscar (Oscar is just so collected). Maybe...wait, no, I can't think of anyone else who could.
@walover165 I'm not so sure about Oscar yet. Sure, I believe in another two or three years he will be a serious title challenger. Perhaps even in 2025, if by some miracle McLaren gives him and Lando the right car. But I think this year he is still too green.
You don't think Charles and George have it in them?
@@sheldoniusRex Charles will crumble under the pressure and so will George. Oscar is so completely unflappable that I have no doubts.
Seeing as everyone is complaining, I'm just going to say: GO MAX😁🦁
No one is catching Redbull until 2026 Max is a 5x Champ as far as i'm concerned.
*In the distance* Max Max Max Super Max Max Max!
Lets cry about the 2021 ending for a year
Last year was the most dominant from a drivers perspective. Not from a teams perspective. Compare the delta from RB to the rest of the field and the 2016 Mercedes with it's field.
I m a Merc fan. I love to listen to your podcasts as they are really organic.
But we are missing Merc content as Matt being Ferrari Fan and Tommy being a RB fan at heart. This podcast had zero question or lines targetting what 8 time champs would bring it on 2024 and their chances to dethrone RB.
They were no 2 in last year despite having a terrible car and their all in new car with James Allison on board would provide exciting prospect imo.
00:35 Did max own checko so hard, that he's now part of Max' trophy room?
Looking for that 4peat🎉
Matty just loves making content about his love for Charles :D
Time for a record season for Max !!
No thank you 👍
Full sweep this time😁
The chat from the simulators are red bull is expected to be a second faster than last year so it will be another year of dominance easily
@@SuperHellhawk The cars are required to be shorter and the tyres less wide which makes it likely that most cars will be actually be slower and not faster. I would not trust any chatter from simulatordrivers
I really like how opposite the top two comments are😂 one for Matt's happiness other for his depression
Can't wait to see Norris meltdown when Piastri gets his first F1 race win before him. 😈
Some of my calculated takes:
1) Max 4th WDC but not as dominant as 2023.
2) Ferrari to be above mclarens but below mercs
3) Charles owning sainz all season long ( OS car setup )
4) Aston's AMR24 doing a mclaren 2023 . They'll be Below merc Ferrari and mcl in first half. And tremendous performance in second half with Alonso's string of podiums From Silverstone onwards.
5) Alonso winning atleast 1 race. Lewis and charles atleast 2.
6). 2-3 racers ( my pick: Logan, Kmag, ric ) leaving the grid for newcomers of 2025
Hey lads great vid once again, i’d love to hear your take on the 2024 FIA regulation adjustments regarding engine components, aero components, race safety changes (Baku, Qatar, Vegas), and other points after such a hectic season.
Racing Bulls?
Seriously if the new AlphaTauri name is Racing Balls….. I’m buying their merch!
Looking forward to a max domination for sure 😂
Well no lies detected here.🙈😑🤷
Why? Even as a Max fan you should have had enough of that absolute bore fest. Plus, if anyone gets actually and reliably close to RB then we'll be able to witness his renowned meltdowns and see him shove other drivers off the track, his signature move!
@@illbeV. its a joke lol im a lewis fan
@@illbeV.Get on the wagon and stop complaining. They are going to win lol we all know it. Wont even be close

I gave a like to the video at 3:25 😂 I like the positivity
3:00 Yes Tommy😂😂😂
We’ve seen William, Aston and McLaren all shoot up in performance after changing car concept and having a winter break to implement changes (albeit it took a bit longer than that for McLaren). No reason Merc can’t do the same as its customers
