  • @TonyHookedonVanlife

    loved the minor stuff in the last half... it just gives that ominous feel with the perceived atonality. Half steps are really great too in all types of metal - it kind of trips up the mind which almost expects whole step movements, or symmetry, I guess on could say. I use that a lot with my doom metal writing, along with sliding into notes...

    Guitar newb question: around 5:25 when you say "that could go over a C or an A minor", can you explain what you mean?

    • @SimonSmithGuitar
      @SimonSmithGuitar  7 лет назад +1

      The notes we had in the riff were C, and E so you could use those 2 notes in a C Major chord (notes C, E, G) or an A minor chord (notes A, C, E). So the notes C and E are in both a C Major chord and an A minor chord. Does that make sense?

    • @froggore52
