- Heres a some quick tips on how I write a Norwegian Black Metal riff, a bit more serious and down to the point this time ;)

Yesterday i listened to DJEVEL new album and i realized from the first glance this stunning music comes from Norway . 🇧🇻. Beautiful music. Norway and Finland always rules in this genre .greetings .

Do you think about using "evil sounding" notes, such as the tritone or the minor second, when writing, Teloch?

how? just how do you get that clear sound when tremolo all 6 strings? I still don`t understand. If I do it, it all blurs, if lower the gain, it`s not metal anymore lol

Do it fast enough and you'll be fine :D
It’s not the plug-in. Try layering clean tone like 12-17dbs under your distortion

Hi Teloch, just found out your channel and I already subscribed. You are a truly nice guy indeed, nothing to do with that BM bullsh*t on which all are evil... Anyway, nice tutorial, really enjoyed it but I guess the main thing about writting BM music is to follow the feeling, the flow and not thinking too much about it or if it'll sound trve or knot. What settings should I do on my amp, like the treble and gain etc
Highest gain possible, low mids and high treb
The sentence "you need a guitar and come from Norway " sums it up.
You can do farts pretending to be black metal jewels and labels / audience will be impressed.

Also using a room mic helps it sound “realer” and layering clean tone deep underneath helps with note clarity

I am not Norwegian but the Norwegian style of black metal is the best so i like learning from a Norwegian how to compose Black metal , also , Satan 🙂
