Thank you for this video. I was having problems with my front tires getting into contact with the bottom rod when turning until I stumble upon this video and my problem solved just by simply calibrating the servo. This video really helps. Thank you very much. May god bless you
Every RTR has D/R thats not a feature D/R comes on every inexpensive RTR controller but endpoint adjustment NEVER comes on RTR controllers .. D/R doesn't change your end points this video is misleading, granted (unintentionally)... but you can run D/R @ full max it won't harm anything. in order to change endpoint adjustment your required to buy an upgraded transmitter/receiver like the flysky gt5 /Dx5 rugged etc etc These controllers have actual endpoint settings on them. every controller made has D/R its pretty much useless...
Cool, thanks! Quick question: If the endpoints are set somewhat fine out of the box couldn't you just use the "ST RATE" on the radio to set it so that it doesn't push too far or give it a bit more if it's not enough?
Great video. I’m thinking of getting that radio and receiver off eBay, from an RTR, to replace my tactic ttx300. My reefs raw 500 servo doesn’t like the tactic, (some twitching), and reef’s told me to try a Spektrum combo, however, they recommended the DX5C, or rugged. Due to the rising cost of things, I’m trying to save a little money by using the DX3. Does anyone know if that servo will stop twitching if I use the Spektrum DX3 and SR315 combo, rather than the old Tactic??? I am assuming the DSMR protocol is supposed to be better??????
thank for the video.. i have a question i have arrma kraton 8s and i did the end poin adjustment for some reason my servo still making clicking nose. do i have to be worried ?
I just got a notorious and bound my DX3 to it and the steering was in reverse by default so I have to move the switch to reverse on the radio for it to be normal... Any ideas? Ocd and kind of bugs me.
You can max your duel rate 100% it has no affect on endpoint adjustment, it's preset from the factory & will never allow you to over compensate your endpoints, that's how all inexpensive RTR controllers come.. if you want to set your endpoints you need an upgraded transmitter & receiver ie: (flysky gt5 /dx5 rugged etc) a controller that has actual endpoint adjustment settings to change them.......
Don't try this on a spectrum stx3, the transmitter will not work after it goes into program mode. New rtr capra transmitter and receiver - done dinner, but still trying to talk horizon. Will see about round 2 to see if they can figure it out.
Lol, you did it wrong tho, you do it to save your stuff from stressing but you maxed the rate first then cranked the wheel and then turned down the rate, your wheels were cranked as far as possible so you could have damaged the steering right then. You should have had rate in middle or low then crank wheel left or right, then turn rates up till wheels dont have any more turn and stress just starts to max it then back it off a smidge or stop with the rate as soon as when you see the wheels stop

Thanks for the info you save me some money on buying a new transmitter i needed to set my endpoints and didn't think this dx3 did that wow
These RTR radio's have a lot of features that people dont even realize are there - Spektrum really needs to put out better instructions! Good video 👍

thanks for the video. wish you coukd show us the dig servo too
I did not know about this. Thank you!
This video is invaluable
This was really helpful thank ya 😊
Hi. How to calibrate channel 3 on the Spektrum DX3 radio ??? Thank you !
This video was really helpful, Thanks for all your hard work 👊👊👊

Sure
Thank you for this video helped me out a lot
Great! Thank you!
You are welcome!
Thank you so much for this video
Great info as always👍👍
thanks Ready Set!
Any fix for the servo arm hitting the panhead? It doesn't turn equally...
Very informative. Thank you
After I set endpoints I disconnect and reconnect transmitter. Then turn up dual rate. How do I know if I'm turning up dual rate or gyro?
Dude, your a legend 👍
Nice video men ! But i have problem my button the radio control is no working😓. Can you help me please!!
Outstanding vid thank you for the info

How come my Jeep reverses much faster than it throttles? And my dog function doesn't work.i got it a day ago
Very good information video

it's normal. depends on how the servo is positioned in the car, every car is different.
Thanks again 👊
Hi so when I use dig after I turn it off it’s stuck in front wheel drive anyone know why?
Awesome info bro do u have a vid made for the tqi?
Yes I do! ruclips.net/video/lmJG15PdD20/видео.html
Thank you
Awesome

STX3 is not compatible with this receiver/ESC. It uses a different frequency/protocol.
Why the f#@€k does my horizon-manual tell me, that i have to do it with the ST TRIM🤬 thanks for Clearance
Does this work for outcast 8s too????I have same dx3 radio
yes, same process
