For this year applications are open u can apply next month
The year u apply in is always the next year . If you are wanting to apply in 2023 that means when the application opens it will say “Applications open for 2024” so u are an 2024 Applicant. This is a very common doubt many people have . Please be careful regarding it

I know it's really hard to get this scholarship, I also applied for it last year with you for UG. But, I got rejected in interview round, Glad to see a person who got that scholarship 😄

I don't think you saw the video clearly...he said you at least need n4 level Japanese to go there and you can learn Japanese through classes or RUclips and then give JLPT exams to increase level which starts from n5 to n1
