    What tires would you choose??

    Conti Road Attack4 on Alloy Rims, the PSC2 were taken off when the bike came brand new in at the Ducati Dealer. Actually I only ride Conti Trail Attack 3 but always wanted to ride the all new Conti Road Attack 4 because I rarely ride off-road close to never.

      That's basically the situation I found myself in as well. After using the Road 6 on a few dirt and gravel roads, I don't feel like they're really any less capable than the Pirellis, but they make the road riding experience so much better!

    Hi you will love them, i got the same bike and never regret the switch to road 6. Hope to do 15 k miles with the set. Confortable sticky and supposed to be great on wet.

    180nm is 133 ft/lbs, I hope you don't crank your rear axle nut to 244ft/lbs and it was just a typo in edit! ✌️

      Correct! I didn't realize I said that in the video, good catch!

    I’m getting new tyres fitted tomorrow to my v4 pikes peak, I got 4000 out of both, if I’m honest I got maybe 1000 ish left on front but it’s stepping so I’m changing both for another pair of Rosso 4’s great tyre . I may try Michelin 6’s next due to some European trips planned. I’m surrounded by twisting roads here in Scotland so maybe this explains both tyres wear?

    Hey 4K, you MAY not be old enough to remember the Michelin XZX radial car tire from 35 years ago? I've had those, and, they defended the brand beautifully! I'm an auto mechanic, and, my mom is a German girl from the "old country" so I understand quality! I'm looking to replace the O.E.M. tires on Vulcan S 650 & a Street Rod 750 with the Michelin PR 6's. I suspect fuel economy will increase along with the handling characteristics. I have high standards because of my work career and my ethnic heritage.🤓👍🏍️😎🧸🦅 Doug

      You MAY be right, I can't say I remember the XZX tires 🤣. That said, I'm very impressed with everything Michelin is doing currently. You definitely won't be disappointed with the PR6!

      @@4KMotoring that's why I'm bent on getting the road 6's to get put on my motorcycles! I know their quality is NEVER scimped on! They spare no expense to put out a #1 quality product that they can stand behind and promote without ANY hesitations!🏍️👍🦅🧸😎😁❤️ Soug

    My 21 MS V4S is due a set soon so thinking Dunlop Mutant as they have excellent reviews. The Scorpion Trail II's suit the bike really well but as you say in technology terms getting long in the tooth.. Exhaust wise I am looking at a decat link pipe by UK Company BHP - the pipe and tune priced at £1600 or just under $2000.

    • @4KMotoring
      @4KMotoring  Год назад

      Leo Vince and QD Racing offer decat pipes at lower price points if that's what you're after. I personally haven't tried the Mutants, but I have looked into the Michelin Trailmax Mission and almost went that direction

    I just mounted Road 6 front and rear, after 7k miles on original Pirellis.

    Probably the Metzeler M9RR when they’re needed. No dirt and single rider generally.

      Front wobble at higher speeds are mostly due to inappropriate suspension setup or bike loading. Tires can cause a vibration if imbalanced, but I wouldn't call that a wobble

    I can't imagine getting 8000 miles out of a rear tyre on my V4s more like 4000

      That's the kind of mileage I was getting from my 2015 Multi, but the V4 makes torque a little differently I guess!
