    That's a good-looking loaf of bread. I just ordered my KitchenArm from Amazon.

    I learned that when making bread in the machine right away (no delay start) to put liquid in first then yeast and dry.... hit start... for me it did make a difference as I could add warmish water and yeast and it comes out super good especially if making grain bread...also I sometimes beat an egg then fill with water to measurement on cup... (little extra goodness)
    Also I more than often use coconut oil for my fat. (just sharing) especially good when making the dough for cinnamon rolls or other sweet treats...BTW if you do not want the tast of coconut make sure the jar does NOT say virgin.... it will have no flavour. great for savory frying and extremely healthy too!!

      forgive me I meant to say you do the dry first then the wet!! sorry for this 'oops'.....bread comes out a bit lighter (imo) it was a tip from my old (1980) bread maker..still working but I may now have jinxed it!!!! 😄

    I love this bread maker, I've only made 3 types of bread. The onion bread is my favorite one so far.

    Hi! Thank you for your videos! I just came across your channel when searching for the bread maker. I just got one 😊
    Will you please share how you freeze your extra slices and what your process is for thawing them out? I am new to all of this

      So fun you got a bread maker! I let the loaf cool and then slice it. I then put them in ziploc bags (try to offset the slices a bit so they don’t freeze together, it makes it easier to get apart). Then I just pop a slice in the toaster when I want to thaw!

      @@semi-homesteading thank you so much! Yes, I made my first loaf today! Your video was very informative. I appreciate most the calmness and realness of it. Keep up the great work being genuine!

    I love my machine as well 🤗❤️😋👍 Have you tried the Spanish bread? Also, I can't figure out how to program to remove paddle before baking 🫣

      I haven’t tried the Spanish bread but will have to soon! And from what I can tell you always just leave the paddle in when baking and just remove it once it’s done :)

      Thank you for your comment. I just hate having to dig the paddle out of the bread and then it leaves a 🕳 in my loaf🍞

      @@mowens4551 Some people just lift the edge of the loaf enough to remove the paddle after the final rise ...I don't care about the hole really and will jus start the cutting at that end and keep it for me!

    Hi, do you find that you get better results with bread flour, all purpose or self rising flour?

    • @semi-homesteading
      @semi-homesteading  7 месяцев назад +1

      I haven’t experimented too much. I know bread flour is supposed to be better for bread but I pretty much always use all purpose and it seems to work just fine!

    Question I picked up a brand new second hand kitchen arm bread machine. But it has no instructions. Shouldn't I be able to change the size to 2 lb not just 1 and 1.5 ...

    For some reason I get very intimidated by making bread. This machine and your video has taken that intimidation away.
