Takes my breath away everytime... I cannot describe what this music means to me. It is just so beautiful. I am very thankful for this piece of art, because it is able to bring tears out of me and relief some pain inside me.
Lappi (Lapland) music/song is also so GREAT if You understand it and Tuomas's mind. Visit the place, see the wilderness and last untouched landscape areas not ruined and wasted yet (see Tarja in some shots of Sleeping Sun video)...drink the clean water directly from the pond, pick the clean and pure tasty wild berries from the swamp, feel the smallness in the tundra and hear the silence and/or the howling of a lonely wolf at midnight, see the stars and Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) dancing on the dark sky without waste electric lights...see the white owl and a wedge of swans to fly...meet the native Lappi people to herd reindeers...have a husky ride on the sledge wrapped inside a reindeer fur skin ... see the arctic fox and wolverine, make a Night Wish and You get to know a piece of the magic of Lappi. Tuomas went alone there (to Finnish Lapland in north) to spend time, wander, empty his head and then think the big lines how to go forward with NW and get it on the right track when there was a critical moment. Maybe the Witchdrums told him what to do...

Titeuf auplat Si c'est de la forme dont tu parles, un peu trop décousu peut-être, je m'en fous un peu. Le fond, les émotions sont là, c'est même plutôt varié.

I'm only just getting into nightwish, i bought Oceanborn the other day and i have to say, it is an amazing album, but this album also seems the same way.
They might have changed vocalists, but Nightwish are still a stunning band. ;)

@keepcalmnregenerate Of course Anette and Tarja can deal with things like this; they're both grown-ups and professional artists so they can deal with this. Fans are generally young people with no formal knowledge so of course what they do is crude by comparison, especially since the worst folk in that whole group tend to be the most visible ones.

lapland is coming from Sweden. I like nightwish have something about sweden too. :)
There is also a Lapland in Finland just like there is a region in Belgium called Luxembourg.
Lapland is in Finland, Sweden and Norway (partially in Russia too). Actually the North calotte area where the Sami people...the native Lapland people live...is that area. Reindeers go wildly there and wander everywhere...and the place is full of magic like this NW song. Yes...and the Santa Claus/father Christmas lives in Rovaniemi near Artic Circle.
