It was the most beautiful experience, I love that composition, literally I cried and a lot of people did it too. Every time I watch this video, it causes the same experience as the one I has last year. Thanks, beautiful interpretation, it really means a lot. ♥
This piece is one of my personal favorites! The tight harmonies bound with the poem’s message are powerful. When I sung this, the Alto 2’s had the toughest time because they had the most measures of dissonance and vocal clusters than anyone else; however all of you tackled this piece with flying colors!
I am singing this in a women’s ensemble. I have to say I love the depth of mixed voices. The quality of the recording and performance is excellent. Love it!
Singing this currently with the midlands chamber choir of South Africa, where things have not become anything like the conditions of a concentration camp but the meaning is poignant in this context
What amazes me almost as much as the performance is how the members of the audience could listen without collapsing into tears...
