    1. Be mindful of your energy, mindful of where you are on the emotional spectrum before walking into a conversation.
    2. Going into a conversation, you are taking your world and stepping into their world; be sincerely interested in what's going on in their world.
    3. Asking questions; ask secondary and third level questions, that dive a little bit deeper.
    4. Be encouraging.
    5. For the next meeting, reference what you spoke about in the last meeting.

M - Be MINDFUL about the person,be aware of the energy and the mindset of meeting that person
W - Place yourself in their WORLD. Imagine you're in the same scenario as them in order to understand their point better
A - ASK question to show that you're sincerely interested
E - Encourage them. People don't often get encouragement from many places. If they get it from you, you can connect better next time as they become more open
R - Reference what you spoke last time when you meet them again. Give them sense of remembrance about the little things that you spoke.

How about getting into a conversation with someone who is lethargic?

Allan Ptacnik your level of energy will influence their level as well. It may not happen at the first meeting/appointment, BUT you should always maintain your standard for your energy. They will eventually sense this and feel it and to some degree meet you there in their own way- eventually. But, be patient- you can only control yourself - at best ! Cheers!
