Great video, Eric. If you ask me, the live action remake made the original a whole lot better and I can't wait your versus video on Spider-Man 2 Vs The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Vs Spider-Man: Far From Home.
@@ShadowKamehameha32 just feels like they built her up for so much and in the end it doesn't feel like she accomplished a lot. It also doesn't feel like she deserved it to be sultan not that she wasn't supposed to but she didn't do anything in the movie for us to believe that she deserved it
So the live action one wasn't that good.... Oh, there's a big surprise! That's an incredib... I think I'm gonna have a heart attack and die from that surprise!
Not even a mention to Arabian Nights? That was done wonderfully in the live action. The animated version was good but way too short, in the live action it's a full song. It's the only song out of these live actions that i consider better than the original
So many of the scenes took place during the day. I feel like much of the tonal impact was lost when they took them out of the night when they were originally set.
Two changes though I was fond of: 1. They changed Sunday Salaam to Friday Salaam in the Prince Ali song, as Friday is the holy day for Muslims. 2. They removed that creepy AF 'Jasmine as a slave' scene.
It's always sad when someone has to say "remake" only four or five words before "classic." If a film is a classic, then by definition it doesn't need to be remade!
The genie. I dont hate Will Smith's portrayal, but goddamn the original was able to get away with so much more simply because he isnt limited by the human body and a special effects budget. I mean, I enjoyed you've never had a friend like me, but otherwise...
Welp unfortunately, it is a live-action Disney remake, so unfortunately, the things that make their animated counterparts so memorably strong would either be not added in the live-action counterparts or put to poor use to shit on our childhoods.
Retro World Why do Disney Live Action remakes think it’s more epic to tone down the climax? Seriously, in Beauty and the beast the climax was intense in the original, you had a heavy rain storm, Gaston and the beast punching each other, and over a high roof. It had high stakes. In the remake, it’s over after two pistol shots. Why? You could have gone all out! Imagine how much more darker you could go with the bigger budget and longer running time. Aladdin’s climax I’ll admit wasn’t overly impressive but there were still some pretty high stakes. Jasamine was trapped in a clock, Jafar could literally turn into anything he wanted, and Aladdin had to narrowly dodge everything thrown at him. In the remake Jafar does nothing, and turns Iago into a giant. The only better climax was in the jungle book 2016. That movie was actually better than the animated one in my opinion. You have every opportunity and everything in your power to go bigger! Instead they go smaller, which is a bad thing.
@@charlietheanteater3918 I wouldn't say Jafar did "nothing". He was on the verge of marying Jasmine who took the Lamp and jumped off to Aladdin and Carpet, then they spent the next few minutes trying to escape the Giant Iago as the Lamp essentially was around and about as each were trying to grab it. Eventually Abu was able, to but he lost it, the chase got even more intense, and Carpet was *actually ripped apart*. In the midst of this, the Sultan is trying to fight Jafar but ultimately failing. if the audible gasp of the audience at that moment(when Carpet ripped) wasn't enough to say it, Jafar got the Lamp back and had Aladdin captured. I'd say that was pretty action packed. To me I enjoyed that far more when I think about it, because Aladdin swinging a sword at a gigantic CG snake while Jasmine is in a giant hourglass, in live action I don't think would ever have captured what the original did. So the actual climax which was also a nod to the original story of Aladdin I think worked very well. Final Boss Iago was still a heartpounding scene for me. But to each their own.
Just wanted to point something out real quick. In the animated movie, Jafaar straight up said to Jasmine that he decapitated the boy from the marketplace for the crime of kidnapping the princess, giving her guilt for leaving the palace and extreme animosity towards Jafaar. Jafaar’s pleasure after she leaves in grief also shows how evil he really is. It wasn’t until Jasmine heard Prince Ali say, “Do you trust me?” that she recognized Aladdin and realized he was actually alive. Kind of explains why it’s more impactful than the live action version.
The originals are classics.no matter how good the remake is it won't be better than the originals.they should stick back to animation again like they did in the early 2010s that where actually doing great and giving enough money
@@Xerxes2528 the worst part is that the live actions aren't even good to say "It doesn't matter how good they are". And although in the 2000's they weren't exactly doing well for Disney standarts, nowadays things are very different and I totally agree that they should stop trying to make this awful and soulless remakes and actually focusing on the good animations
why did they add the "Jasmine is accused of stealing" scene in the live action version? From what I remember, it was pretty similar to the orig movie, which was a weird choice. I mean, she can't be sultan and be ignorant of how a store works
The justification in the movie is that Jasmine had studied geopolitics in the palace with her maps and whatnot, while Aladdin never went to school and couldn't even read. But that doesn't change the fact that almost every Asian society in pre-modern times refused to hand over power to women. The only way a woman could become a ruler in the East was by first becoming a palace concubine (basically a glorified whore) and then sleeping her way up the hierarchy and having everyone who stood in the way of her succession - including her own male children - murdered. But of course this Mary Sue version of Jasmine could never be shown doing those things.
@@SeasideDetective2 But Aladdin also has a heavy Arabic influence and in the middle east there were plenty of women rulers 1000 years ago, who definitely did not need to sleep their way to the top. Mawiya was one such arab queen, she even fought the Romans. Its a misconception that there were no women rulers in Arabia in the past.
@@SeasideDetective2 Uhh no, aladdin can read! remember when he showed jasmine on her map Ababwa, he just put his finger in a random place nervously, and looked down and realised it said Ababwa. im starting to think your the one who can't read :/
jasmine is not dumb that she doesn't know how a store works. She was not walking away like the animated version. Which means jasmine was supposed to pay the vendor later via soldiers.
In fairness that could be a mark against Robin, the Genie is a supporting character, not the main character. He's not the one you want to steal the show.
That's just what Robin Williams did. Nobody else could pull that off. Hell, look at the episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway where he was the guest. Robin Williams over shadowed all the other performers and stole the whole show, but that's just Robin Williams. He's the only person who could do that without being hated our disliked in any way by the other performers. Granted I do know some people who had a problem with that episode because of that. But he was genuinely funny in it
JetBlack Jay trying to compare Robin and Will’s Genies is like trying to compare a dollar bill to four quarters. Will said it himself that Robin Williams left some big shoes to fill and that he smashed the role as the Genie. He realizes that Robin set a bar that couldn’t be reached. So instead of trying to one up Robin’s Genie, he wanted to bring his own take on the Genie. He brought a more hip hop sorta take on the Genie, while Robin kept his fourth wall breaking humor. You comparing the two is just disrespectful to both Will and Robin.
Great review men but my god what heck did they did to jarfar this so stupid i hope lion king remake will be good or alse disney must stop with theses remakes
@Vanellopexoxduty do u now what alse melefecent i dont now how to spell her name but my god what insult to a great villen its like turing joker in to a anti hero and not a villen we all love and hate
Jasmine was already one of the strongest Disney princesses. Think about it, she doesn't let other men decide her fate, she stands up to Jafar even in the face of danger, willing to manipulate him pretending to like him in order to help save her home, OWNS A PET TIGER, sneaks out of her palace to better learn about her kingdom on her own whim. Jasmine was already pretty badass. And wouldn't it make sense of Aladdin to be confident considering he's a street rat that gets by through all sort of tricks and escape routes? What I don't understand is why the lack of animated Disney movies? Is it a cost/production issue? There's plenty of various Disney stories that could've been done...no, not Old Yeller.
Well said! Though I did enjoy the live-action remake for what it was, it'd be an out-and-out lie to say that it holds a candle to the original. It's fun, but the animated version is a classic for a reason.
I think (you touched on this briefly with the music scenes) the main problem with the film is the colour. It all just feels dull. I particularly saw it when you compared the two cave of wonder scenes and then the "a whole new world" bit. While the animated one is full of vibrant and eye-catching colours, the live action one just looks like it is muted and someone turned down the brightness on my PC. Like in the animated one the gold stands out, the gene stands out, the carpet lamp, everything stands out. Whereas in the live action its all just dull and dim. It seriously looks like someone forgot to saturate the colour. Goddamn embarrassing
Wow. Seriously I love your videos. I did enjoyed this remake, but I can’t argue with all your comparison points. I like seeing you rip apart what maid it vastly inferior to the original. Or what makes it standout.
I liked it, it wasn't better, but I didn't think it was boring or bad, I it was just a live-action remake, though my favorite parts are definitely the geneie parts
The new Aladdin film failed to match the scope and action of its predecessor... which was to be expected I guess. What I find really strange is how these remakes (better called “recycles”) continue to cut many of the humanizing, emotional character moments that made people love them in the first place. Those small moments make all the difference, no cgi involved.
lmao. "new Aladdin film failed"??? it's one of the best movies in the world. the new one beat the old one in box office fast. the new movie is way better than the old one.
@@litlit12345678When someone brings up the box office argument, I am always reminded of the Transformers franchise. Cinematic masterpieces, right? Ultimately, it doesn't matter to me how much the movie made, I'm not a studio exec. What matters if the movie was well-made and captivating. The new Aladdin is piggybacking on the old one, I wonder if people would like it as much without the legacy it is bowing to.
I actually thought the live action movie was decent and actually pretty good I respect your opinion but I just wanted to say mine (if anything this is the best Disney remake we got)
The score in the original, unlike the remake is truly unforgettable! The new one always spams leitmotifs of Arabian Nights or A Whole New World constantly, where the original just did it's own thing with said leitmotifs popping up once or twice, depending on the scene and mood. I mean, it was so good that they re used almost all of the bgm, especially the cave escape theme in the second film as well as the Disney Afternoon show.
To be honest, there's a lot of things you can get away in an animated film, not so much live action. Regardless, I didn't really like Aladdin as a kid, but good video.
Considering that you gave Beauty and the Beast a flawless score of a 10/10, I appreciate the fact that you gave the 1992 Aladdin film a fair score since I've always considered Aladdin a flawless masterpiece. I also appreciate the fact that you made mention of the fact that the remake made plot holes that wasn't there in the original. I must admit that I never would've expected that low of a critic score for the remake. But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this comparison and I love both of the critic scores of both of the versions. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing your take on both versions of The Lion King since the original film is one of my all-time favorites.
They didn't remove Aladdin's confidence. Here's a guy who sneaks past the guards and tells Jasmine you need to act like you own everything. He confidently points out she's from the Palace the second they meet. He intervenes to save Jasmine, robs a vendor to his face, mocks said vendor, and draws the guards' attention to him and away from Jasmine. They made him less cocky, which is actually a good thing. He's a thief. He shouldn't draw attention to himself. The movie shows us an Aladdin who is a master of slight of hand, great at blending in and using disguises, bold and daring in his escapes, especially where he apparently leaps to his doom once or twice. He's awkward at being a prince because he's never been a prince and because he is in love and not thinking straight.
Aladdin(2019) took away from the original's iconic moments and development. It also has pacing issues issues and unnecessary add-ons and changes from original instead of devoting time to build up Aladdin's character and Jasmine and Aladdin's relationship like in the animated movie. So overall: Aladdin (1992)> Aladdin (Live-Action).
27 mins of you shitting on the live action remake. We get it, you dont like it. Hate these biased ass comparisons. There are pros and cons to both movies. And I honestly like both movies.
I like both of them. Will Smith was great he did his own thing.i like the cartoon more but that because I grew up with it. I will understand if this generation will like the live action movie more. Like I said they both are good.
I freekin don't know why the cast members select that less experienced one as jafaar, even Ben Kingsley is a perfect match for that role... He nailed his role in Prince of Persia.
24:33 they actually did cast Arabic actors, Mena Massoud is from Egypt, Nasim Pedrad is from Iran, Marwan Kenzari if from the Netherlands, and Navid Negahban is also from Iran. The only South Asian actor is Naomi Scott and it actually makes sense because Jasmine’s mother is from another country. The only non middle eastern actor is Will Smith and that one white dude lol.
Even though the actors in the remake did a great job, the original is still miles better. And overall I hope they stop trying to make money by remaking are childhood into less impressive live action movies. 🤦♂️
Let's not fool ourselves. Except for maybe greed and laziness, the ONLY reason they churned out this remake was to relieve Eurocentric guilt. It was one long apology to actors of Arabic, Persian, and Indian descent. "We're so sorry you got left out of your own story back then, so now we'll make it up to you." That's a nice idea, but a blatant remake is not the way to do it. Doing the Aladdin story in a different way would have been much less patronizing. If they insisted on doing a remake, they should have chosen the famous silent film THE THIEF OF BAGHDAD, which has much more character development for Aladdin (although he's not called that in the movie). Plus, that film had an attempt by Chinese spies to overthrow the sultan as a plot point, so Disney could have included some Chinese along with the other Asians.
Hey Eric, the director of the Joker, Todd Phillips, says they're doing it there own thing and knows fans will be angry. Let's just say that this an Elseworlds film.
Love your videos so much... Everytime you make a Disney remake video and as you analyze, go through and explain the differences, it just transports me back to the heart of the original animated classic gems... Pure goosebumps inducing nostalgia... 😱😱😱😱😱 and I love you for it... 👏👏👏👏👏👏Could you please make time and do the animated Jungle Book vs the new one ? Please ?
Honestly, just because the live action one doesn't have the same features and the characters aren't the same, it doesn't mean it's bad. The live action was from the cartoon version, but it was never supposed to be the same thing. They changed the story, so what. The movie was still awesome in my opinion. You can prefer the animated version, but honestly, if you don't like the live action one just because aladdin's character is different and the story isn't the same, that's pretty messed up. Just my opinion though, you don't have to agree
Great Video Eric, I was wondering if you were doing a Lion King versus, but I also want to know if you can do one for Dumbo 1941 vs 2019..and if your wondering, the original animated film is Better. Also have you watched the trailer for the new Mulan and what are your thoughts on the casting of the remake of The little mermaid? Thanks and keep up the good work.
Omg this comparison is soooo cynical I can hardly believe it! Criticizing everything including the music - the music was effing incredible in the live action version. People were dancing their way out of the theater. Also, the costumes, sets etc.. were absolutely dazzling. The new film very much had the essence of magic that I was hoping for and more.
ThePaintedLady thank goodness, I thought I was the only non Disney purist here. All these commenters are acting like the thirteen year old “I’m not like other girls” because they think an old movie was better then the remake. I actually loved the entire movie and didn’t find it vapid or a cash grab at all. The fact that they changed so much is proof that they were reaching beyond a cash grab and were actively trying to innovate a beloved movie. If you asked me, I liked the reprise of One Jump and Friend Like Me more than the originals because they’re full of so much energy and exciting visuals. Aladdin was nowhere near perfect, and the fact that Disney removes the more iffy elements (such as slave Jasmine) and manages to keep it interesting and exciting makes me enjoy it more that I did the old one
Definitely goes to the original, even thought the remake is good, it is just like every other Disney remake where it is not as good at the original, also. Aladdin (1992): 10/10 The Return of Jafar: 2/10 Aladdin and the King of Thieves: 6/10 Aladdin (2019): 7/10
Hei, Eric! By curiosity, which Disney live-action remake do you think is the best? And there is a remake that you consider worse than Beauty And The Beast?
Thanks! I felt like you made that video in 2017 because it reminds me so much of your Beauty and the Beast video and 2 years later Beauty and the Beast 1991 is still perfect!
problem is Disney is just remaking old classic movie that dose not need anything else to improve on and just takes a dump on it... all this movie was a cash grab... JUST LEAVE IT ALONE... and whats with the making Disney male characters so lame recently not just Aladdin but a lot of things now... the guys don't wish or cannot fight and if is fighting bumble about like idiots miraculously take them down or the female lead takes em down for them... and act like idiots like... (whats 2 + 2? they would replay AVOCADO! or a stupid Quip) and making girl characters more i don't know what happend okay girl power its good and its nice giving ladies more back bones in movies ones that like to be independent then the old days of OH I NEED A MAN TO SAVE ME but please don't DRAG the men down just to prop the girls up many Disney movies and shows are doing it now and i am sick of it... you can easily make em both amazing characters than just downing the other its cheap writing and it makes boring charters and lazy plot lines so much its an eye sore... yet Disney just lost the plot and just all GIRL POWER and just making the men useless or at best comedic outlet... it just lazy... and can i just say i hate that Disney just buying every thing they can get there grubby little hands on then taking a DUMP on that... DISNEY STOP YOUR DRUNK GET A GLASS OF WATER SOBER UP AND SIT IN THAT CORNER AND THINK WHAT YOU DID....
How stupid can you be ? Cash grab ? You are a worthless piece of shit that lacks any education with anything. Disney is a business, they are not your friend, they are not your buddy, they are not here to be your friend.. They are here to make money, thats called a business.. Disney is 130 billion business. Why the fuck would they not make classic remakes.. I hope no one takes any business advice from you.. I hope Disney buys everything.. Disney is a huge fucking business. Do you realize Disney don't make the movies right.. The real people that makes movies are the writers, producers, and Disney is just a bank. So thats amazing the disney is buying everything.. Best of luck kid.
The live action movie also mostly deprived Aladdin of his intelligence. Animated Aladdin is very clever, like the scene where he tricks the Genie into getting them out of the cave, or tricking Jafar into making himself a Genie. In the Live action, Aladdin just forgets to hold the lamp during the initial wish, and someone else suggests the genie wish. Aladdin is kind of a dope in the live action movie.
I actually didn't see the new Aladdin two reasons 1 Disney remakes are very hit or miss and most of the time their miss 2 my firends saw it whithout me and they said it's super cringe
man's movie reviews You have to see movies for yourself. Find out how movies are on your own. Without listening to friends opinions. You have your own opinions on films. See if you love the movie or not.
Well, I don't have a problem with what you thought was better, even though I also believed that the animated movie was better. I just think that Disney is making live action remakes during an era of the renasasiance (sorry for the incorrect spelling) animation, where Disney's animation was terrific. If Disney really wanted to make live action remakes, then they should go to some of the older movies that no one has seen or hasn't seen in a while and make an update to it.
Let me just say that this movie wasn’t needed and didn’t make an impact on anyone really the only thing positive I can say out of the whole movie is that jasmine’s outfits look amazing.
*Hate to disagree with you, but* the screenplay and dialogue in the animated movie make it a thing that's just for children *In the animated 1992 film* Being a great comedian is a nice memory of Robin Williams that people will treasure, and his sense of humor gave the audience some nice entertainment, but a ton of the dialogue and screenplay sort of make it only geared toward little kids; that's why it's rated G. And the live-action film has a happier ending. Robin Williams sort of overdid it with his knack for being entertaining, and the film sort of got a tad bit creepy because of that; other people have better self-control when it comes to doing a little too much when it comes to the weird version of silly. Along with that; Jafar's bird says weird things too, and that adds more stuff to the list of things that make it so that as decent people age, wanting to watch this movie is something they grow out of *In the live-action 2019 film* The live-action versions of the characters have nice appearances; It's a musical just like the animated film, and it comes with an extra song and character. What makes the ending of this movie way more heartwarming is that instead of saying goodbye, the genie just turns into an ordinary person who becomes Daila's husband, Aladdin and the genie thank each other and become best pals, and just like Aladdin and Princess Jasmine both wanted they got married too; Will Smith makes a great genie out of himself; and when it comes to making things geared toward all ages instead of just children, Mena Massoud would nail Scott Weinger in a "Which one's better?" competition Let's see what the judges have to say: 🤔🤔🤔 😮😮😮 People who aren't little kids or just plain weird should have more interest in the 2017 film
The 2 main things that annoyed me in the movie was the fact that the snake scene was replaced with a big macaw and that they touched all the treasure in the cave without a second thought when in the original it was a big deal
I understand what the guy is saying but he is just shitting on the movie like it’s the worst movie ever. Everyone knows the 1992 movie is better but the 2019 version is actually good.
I feel like the live actions erase the most iconic scenes and suck out the characters personalities if anything the live action just highlights how amazing the originals are.
I really hated the live action, but I loved the song speechless. Yes, it is jackhammered in, and it doesn't make much sense in the movie, but as song, it is freaking amazing. The vocals are amazing, the score is amazing, the cresendo in the end... perfect. Loved it. AND it went on to serve as a score for like a hundred fanmade videos on various female characters in media and it is perfect like that.
With animation you can do anything. Not so much with live action. I think some of your points sounded extremely biased and unfair. And the shape shifting for the genie, I can bet that you would bitch about the creepiness. So maybe rethink. I think the original is better, but the live action one is good.
In the remake I think the songs came out of nowhere with no transition like they're are obligatory and friend like me is way to flashy while prince ali is very boring. I like how will smyths genie didn't try to replace the origanal and he's the most entertaining charater.I think this remake is pretty mediocre
What disappoints me about this Live Remake is that the director focuses on the songs and dances, not the actual story. I don’t understand why they can’t just follow the original screenplay and simply change the camera-work and sentence structures, changing only a couple of things here and there to make it feel a little more realistic. (That’s what they did with the 101 Dalmations 1996 remake. Look how well it came out! Same thing, in my opinion, with the Cinderella 2015 remake.) How hard can it be? Cast the appropriate actors/actresses for their respective roles, stick to the original story, and stay closer to the original runtime. (what is with the extra half hour?!)
Also just how Jafar retrieves back the lamp from Aladdin in the live action was completely lazy. He just so coincidentally runs into Aladdin somewhere in the village at the same time and snags the lamp when Aladdin could've clearly noticed vs how Iago was actually useful in the original by stealing it off Aladdin's guard. Another factor is with the Cave of Wonder's voice in the reboot it just didn't sound anywhere as awesome and scary on top of the as it did in the original despite Frank Welker reprising his role. He gave it his average and it just doesn't live up to the work he and the sound studio did almost 30 years ago. it's too bad this classic was bastardized by another soulless cash grabbing remake.
Also what baffles me, is that some people actually prefer the remakes over the cartoons. And I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind their opinions. Yes it's their opinions, but they still at least need to be understandable, don't they?
These live actions films all feel like Disney is cashing in on nostalgic feelings. If anything these remakes are on par to the shitty direct to video sequels from the 90s.
I just watched Aladdin today even though I couldn't finish it so far I think it's 100% better in the live-action remake I think both of us could agree with that

True
Just wanted to point something out real quick. In the animated movie, Jafaar straight up said to Jasmine that he decapitated the boy from the marketplace for the crime of kidnapping the princess, giving her guilt for leaving the palace and extreme animosity towards Jafaar. Jafaar’s pleasure after she leaves in grief also shows how evil he really is.
It wasn’t until Jasmine heard Prince Ali say, “Do you trust me?” that she recognized Aladdin and realized he was actually alive.
Kind of explains why it’s more impactful than the live action version.
You know what’s funny? Jafar in the remake is more evil than his animated counterpart and yet he is not even as intimidating.
@@vielkaestelabeitiasantamar1589 Is that funny or sad?
@@luckystarplays1837 maybe both.
Disney's new motive: Originality and Creativity are no longer priorities. Reuse for the sake of profit. They'll run out of reusable films eventually.
What sucks too is that Disney was going to make a film called "Gigantic" but they cancelled it in favor of these remakes.
@@rainy.aesthetics yeah but how does that work if she's supposed to be in disguise? She should've paid the guy when she gave the food to the kids.

Me: Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.
I think Robin Williams was the best Genie over all he really steals the show more than will Smith does
In fairness that could be a mark against Robin, the Genie is a supporting character, not the main character. He's not the one you want to steal the show.
True but the only other character that steals the show is Jafar because everyone enjoys a good villain
No, Will Smith is the best Genie ever.

@PurplePanda160 So did Mulan 2020! Disney really needs to stop with their live action movies...
Oops
Also, what good is running a village or kingdom, if you don't know a lot about the village itself?
Yass
Great video. I saw your beauty And the beast video that was 10/10 this is 11/10. Entertaining as hell👍
Thanks for the likes everyone
This times a million for the lion king remake and the mulan remake as well 😔
Wow. Seriously I love your videos. I did enjoyed this remake, but I can’t argue with all your comparison points. I like seeing you rip apart what maid it vastly inferior to the original. Or what makes it standout.
I liked it, it wasn't better, but I didn't think it was boring or bad, I it was just a live-action remake, though my favorite parts are definitely the geneie parts
some of those parts of the animated movie are a tad bit weird
The only good thing to come out of these Disney remakes is for channels like yours.
The remake is better
@@creativeactivities3536 I'm intrigued to know why?

Creative Activities Is that all you can come up with?

Nice video! These "Versus" Videos are always entertaining to watch! Keep up the good work! :)
I love Aladdin (2019) so much
The score in the original, unlike the remake is truly unforgettable!
I didn’t like it either. But I did think the Friend Like Me song was pretty good.
To be honest, there's a lot of things you can get away in an animated film, not so much live action. Regardless, I didn't really like Aladdin as a kid, but good video.
pretty much think the original animated Aladdin is so much better
live action is better

Mulan: I'll make a man out of you... oh wait men suck. (sarcasm)
I really cannot wait for Lion King vs Lion King!
The live action fixed almost all the plot holes in the original

Can you do the Live-Action Lion King next, Please?
That's on my list of videos to do. I haven't seen the remake yet though. I'll try to watch it within the next few days.
Just because the animated was better, doesn't mean the live was bad, you can like both, why do you have to compare them so negatively

@Sakura Seeds No, just not as good as Will.

Because most of the comments are from the lovers of some other live action, so they just can't get over it that how this film is so good.
Let me just say that this movie wasn’t needed and didn’t make an impact on anyone really the only thing positive I can say out of the whole movie is that jasmine’s outfits look amazing.
The origional Aladdin got two sequels: the return of Jafar, and the king of thieves!
as soon as 2019 came out, people went out of their way to blind their eyes
Eric your background tone is better than the tone in the live-action remake
Aladdin 92 is better the 2019 movie was tragedy that it was even allowed to be released
*Hate to disagree with you, but*
the screenplay and dialogue in the animated movie make it a thing that's just for children
*In the animated 1992 film*
Being a great comedian is a nice memory of Robin Williams that people will treasure, and his sense of humor gave the audience some nice entertainment, but a ton of the dialogue and screenplay sort of make it only geared toward little kids; that's why it's rated G. And the live-action film has a happier ending. Robin Williams sort of overdid it with his knack for being entertaining, and the film sort of got a tad bit creepy because of that; other people have better self-control when it comes to doing a little too much when it comes to the weird version of silly. Along with that; Jafar's bird says weird things too, and that adds more stuff to the list of things that make it so that as decent people age, wanting to watch this movie is something they grow out of
*In the live-action 2019 film*
The live-action versions of the characters have nice appearances; It's a musical just like the animated film, and it comes with an extra song and character. What makes the ending of this movie way more heartwarming is that instead of saying goodbye, the genie just turns into an ordinary person who becomes Daila's husband, Aladdin and the genie thank each other and become best pals, and just like Aladdin and Princess Jasmine both wanted they got married too; Will Smith makes a great genie out of himself; and when it comes to making things geared toward all ages instead of just children, Mena Massoud would nail Scott Weinger in a "Which one's better?" competition
Let's see what the judges have to say:
🤔🤔🤔
😮😮😮
People who aren't little kids or just plain weird should have more interest in the 2017 film
Stranger Things 2 vs Stranger Things 3???? And also, amazing video as always!
Am I scum bag for actually liking a few of the Disney live action Remakes. I mean the original is still around it it’s not gonna affect it.
Well of course he gives all the points to the original Aladdin.
Same thing, in my opinion, with the Cinderella 2015 remake.)
How hard can it be?
