- Here is the latest version of the Nitecore R40 v2 flashlight kit. This features two wireless charging options one for table top or wall mounting the charger as well. The included 21700 cell is a "dual fuel" design and will provide you plenty of good runtimes and performance for your light. **This states on the box that its 1200 lumens on turbo but manual says 1000 lumens. The light also has a built in Type C charging port for up to 2A charging output for quicker charge times. This is one of the better kits that I have tested in a while now. The R40 v2 provides a very impressive combination beam performance. The build quality is top notch on this kit. Holster is very nice and well suited for side carry. This makes for a nice EDC light. Thanks for watching, Take care!
Thanks Chuck! Great little light for camping.. love the charge bases, easy for family to use. Not to bright to burn eyes out, you know how kids are..
Thanks for watching!
I love this light because of the three types of charging..bought it last year and it really serves me well. Glad you did this review Charles 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your review. I like the flashlight, but unfortunately we add another proprietary battery and this is not good.
Thanks for watching!
Now THIS I want!
Thanks for watching!
One of the best light😍😍😍
Thanks for watching!
Thinking about getting this light for. A police duty light.
Indeed. Thanks for watching!
Charles ,there is misprint on the box because the R40 v2 only has 1000 lumens on turbo . The battery can run up to 1200 hours.
Good to hear. Thanks for watching!
03:03, the on screen specification indicates a maximum on 'turbo' mode of 1000 lumens for a duration of 2hrs. 15mins. Ultralow mode of 1 lumen for a duration of 1200hrs. Noticing the box states 1200 lumens. Information is conflicting. Anyhow, the test is impressive.
Says 1200 lumens on box only not in manual. Thanls for watching!
Is it 1200 lumen or 1000 lumen? In the box, stated 1200 lumen. But u mentioned its 1000 lumen. Please clarify. Thanks
from what I can tell it's a 1000 lumens light with over 60,000 candella with over 500 meters of range
Its says its 1200 lumens on box but specs say 1000 lumens. Thanks for watching!
Actually, there're two versions for R40 V2. If is Cree XP-L2 V6, the output is 1200lumens, beam distance is 344meters. The Final version is used a Cree XP-L HI V3 LED, 1000lumens, beam distance is 520 meters.
The specifications you put on the screen are wrong. Those are the specs from the v1. Just sayin.....thanks for the review!
Nope specs are from the v2. Thanks for watching!
I think Nitecore could have done a better job with the runtimes in this light. Using a Luminous SST40 would have helped. The Fenix PD36R does 800 lumens for almost 6 hours. So 5 hours of runtime at 420 lumens in this light is underwhelming given the powerful battery that it uses.
Thanks for watching!
Nice light..
Thanks for watching!
i want that torch but its not available here in my country..
👍
👍
It's too expensive.
Not really for a kit of this amount of features. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec not a bad price at all, I don’t think
