I met Buddy in about 2001 when I flew to Chicago to hang at his club for the night. He stopped me coming out of the bathroom , we talked, he sat me in V.I.P & I had the time of my life 😎
FYI to all u Buddy Guy fans... This doesnt sound like Buddy... I think this is his rythem guitarist from the 90s... Scott Holt... Check him playing with Buddy at Solana beach.... U can find the vid on youtube
If this isnt buddy then this dude has done his homework. Listen to the riff at 1:07 and compare it to the solo at the end of "First time I met the blues" live here on youtube.
But guy started it I know that were people before him like Chuck Berry and many others. Big Bill Broonzy the list goes on. They’re all gone now and he’s the only one left inspired that Eric Clapton Jimi Hendrix Eddie Van Halen he still with us and he doesn’t get what he has done. Everybody should be a huge fan. If you don’t know his work I suggest you Google it and go backwards in time and you’ll see what I mean.

DAMN! The goosebumps never end! 1:35 to 3:15 may be one of the single best guitar solos I've ever heard. Holy fuck.
Buddy Guy sem dúvidas é um dos artistas que possuem mais sentimentos e facilidade para demonstra-los
Incrível o nível de sentimentos expostos...absurdo!
buddy guy really lets go in this one i can see where jimi hendrix got a lot of his blues tricks from

I think you're right. Sounds just like Holt in the other solos I watched.
I can recognize Buddy after 10 yrs of listening to him and Junior play at the Checkerboard
