I wish they would turn one version primarily for driving on-road not off-road. I don’t understand why automakers think everyone is going rock climbing with their vehicles! It’s a very small percentage of people! Otherwise, Honda did an incredible job with this vehicle. Build a version tuned for city and highway driving, put a bigger bumper on the rear, and put a stick shifter in it, and it’s close to perfect!

I like this better than our 2024 Honda Pilot Trailsport. The front tow hooks, the trail watch system that they didn't put on the Cndn Trailsport, the bigger screen, increased ground clearance ( although more would have been better to even some Subarus have more), Bose sound system, ventilated seats are nice improvements over the Pilot Trailsport. The internal mounted full size spare is nice although a mounted full size spare on the back on a swing out would have been nicer even if they would have to change the tailgate design. A big improvement over the old Passport and current Pilot Trailsport.
It will be competitive in the suv mid size department with the 4Runner coming out too in spring. Hard to decide between this or the turbo 4Runner but don’t want to deal with turbo
Still prefer my new Pilot Trailsport just wish they did it with the Elite Trim mixed in that this new Passport does. Has the same ground clearance and more storage space. Hard to see why Honda even us still making the Passport if they weren't going to make it more comparable to the 4Runner
I love the real buttons and knobs. I rented a new Mustang convertible in Hawaii last month and the controls were a nightmare. You had go through hoops to change anything; I'd never buy that car for that reason. Simple is good.
There's also the opposite problem of way too many buttons and knobs, as seen on the Toyota Highlander. The Passport seems to have the things we need the most with real knobs and buttons, and the stuff you'll set once and forget hidden away in the touchscreen.
