Absolutely gorgeous cards. I can’t wait to make that background. I will definitely CASE these cards. I’m anxious to see the next two cards coming our way. I love the creative techniques you always share with us. Thanks a million!
So pretty! I love this card. Didn't think to glue the inked side down, great idea. Cannot wait to see your next videos!!! Thanks Tina, always love your work.
Tina, this technique is stunning!! It's a "use-for-sure"! I was very surprised that the black mat did not pop the colors like it usually does. I thought the Old Olive, Polished Pink and Bermuda Bay showed the colors to the best advantage. Maybe because they were the more prominent colors in the marbling? In any case, the cards are gorgeous, and I thank you for sharing this lovely - and easy - technique.
WOWEE, TINA! GORGEOUS CARDS! LOVE ‘EM & THE TECHNIQUE! I especially appreciate that you shared the varied looks when using different applicators w/the alcohol over the vellum colored w/blends! AMAZING DIFFERENCES! :-)). FYI, I saw another demonstrator use the WIDE TIP WATER PAINTER and it worked much like your paintbrush, the wider tip working VERY WELL! I also appreciate your idea of using the adhesive sheets on the base to apply the vellum! YAY! The birds die cut from the vellum is a GREAT IDEA, too! Love that! Can’t wait to try this technique myself! The TREE DIES are so, so pretty and already on MY WISH LIST from the new catalog! :-))). I can see this technique with SO MANY COLOR COMBOS, tho’ I loved your choices for this one today! I think it would make a beautiful Sympathy card as well! TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’, Tina! I look forward to your upcoming videos w/this technique! I KNOW they’ll be just as lovely! Have a LOVELY DAY, maybe even enjoying nature in some way! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI, USA! :-))))))))
Beautiful! I found your work yesterday with a different stamp set and have been using your work for inspiration. Now to see the alcohol ink blending! I have the alcohol and love the tree cards you created. I am going to give that idea a try. Thanks!!
So beautiful, Tina! As usual ... you are so talented! Great sentiment, too. Dare I say this? My brush for intricate dies is contraband: Sizzix and I think they still carry it. But, in my defence, I had it before I'd ever heard of SU LOL. LOVE this technique, but alcohol with that percentage isn't sold here, so I used the 70% and was pleased with the results.I played with several brushes and prefer an ordinary paint brush too. Tina, I'm a bad person: I am so jealous! The new IC Blends are not yet available in Europe! I have a hunch that they're in a container on the ship that actually got stuck in the Suez Canal, she was bound for Rotterdam and hasn't arrived yet, while other ships in the jam did already arrive ... Hopefully for SU, Demos and customers, the Blends will be available by May 4th!
Tina you make the most beautiful cards.
