These cards are sheer artistry! Certainly NOT messy, as someone else said, but carefully controlled imagination with color. I love them! Thank you for the inspiration!
I’ve watched many a video on how to use alcohol ink, but I’ve never seen this velum technique and I can’t wait to try this. Also, I’ve always had issues with how to attach velum without the adhesive showing through so thank you for that tip! Your cards are lovely!
Gorgeous! Love your techniques...have never seen someone apply alcohol inks the way you do. I even like the alcohol panels as is. Thanks for sharing your talent. I would love to see more of your videos.
I just came across your name on Pinterest, so I looked to see if you are on RUclips & sure enough you are. Great cards, thanks for the inspiration. Love your style. TFS
Glad you liked it! Sure, you can just stamp and emboss but I liked the lightly opaque background to the flower by using the vellum. To me, it gives more definition to the flower.
Hey, thanks! the dish is a dappen dish and yes, you can find it on The Foiled Fox (see link) I love this glass container, it is sooo useful! foiledfox.com/products/glass-dappen-dish/
Hi there, when using alcohol inks, it is best to use synthetic or plastic paper like Yupo paper so the inks don't soak into the paper. I mentioned it in this video but neglected to put it in the supply list...sorry. If you want to learn more, check out this recent video - bit.ly/2SPylHF - for detailed instructions when working with alcohol inks. Also here is a link to the Yupo or synthetic paper I spoke about. bit.ly/3AvJBK7 Hope this helps!
Very much enjoy your calm presentation, would be inclined to stop a little earlier but easy to say when not actually in the process Myself I need to learn when to stop🥴🤪

Nice
Thank you!
Great tutorial!❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty! But can you stamp and use embossing powder right on the paper after alcohol ink dries? Then you don’t need vellum?
Glad you liked it! Sure, you can just stamp and emboss but I liked the lightly opaque background to the flower by using the vellum. To me, it gives more definition to the flower.
These are lovely! How do you keep the vellum from warping when you heat emboss it? TFS!
Sorry we missed this comment! The double-sided adhesive paper on the back of the vellum after you heat emboss it keeps it flat.
Great looking cards! What did you call the little dish you used for your alcohol? Is it available at Foiled Fox?
Hey, thanks! the dish is a dappen dish and yes, you can find it on The Foiled Fox (see link) I love this glass container, it is sooo useful! foiledfox.com/products/glass-dappen-dish/
Is that watercolor paper that you are using?

I just don’t like or do messy cards but I think people who do them are brave.
Very much enjoy your calm presentation, would be inclined to stop a little earlier but easy to say when not actually in the process
Myself I need to learn when to stop🥴🤪

You dont need to use the fake paper
