Love how the inks look on the vellum. You did a great job and that rainbow piece is to die for! 👏 I will definitely try this out when I eventually get my hands into the world of alcohol inks.
What an awesome idea! I received alcohol inks as a gift awhile back and never really knew what I should do with them. I'm definitely going to have to give this a try!
So happy to see this! Since discovering alcohol inks this year I am addicted! Combining them with one of my favs - vellum is ingenious, I love the double sided concept. I’m going to try that for sure. I’m doing Ali Edwards December Daily (with my twist) this year and think these types of pages would be awesome backdrops and breathing space pages in an album. Very much ch looking forward to the next video!
Yes! That would be great! I’ve been told that they are not light fast (haven’t been doing this long enough to know for myself) so you could probably scan them and print a digital version for scrapping.
Dearly Dee haha. I hear you there! That’s good reason enough to use more of the alcohol. I’ll have to try them both. Thank you so much for your input. I appreciate it. Have a great day!
Both help the ink to not dry quite so quickly, but alcohol ink blending solution blends colours into each other so you get soft gradients etc. Straight isopropyl alcohol kind of works against the ink (beautifully) and creates cells of colour that are more diluted in the middle while leaving a darker, more saturated colour border. Too much and you can clear all the colour straight off.

Thank you so much 😊 they turned out better than I hoped!
The alcohol inks are so fun to play with and really relaxing to watch in your video!!
I find them quite relaxing to use as well, something about the lack of control is quite magical, like just watching something appear!
All are beautiful! I like your technique!
Thank you so much!

Definitely give them a try, they become quite addictive! There are a tonne of tutorials for different styles on YT as well!

I thought the same thing so I already ordered some more "christmassy" colours! Thank you!
A technique I'm loking forward to trying.
Thanks Sandra! It’s really fun!
These are stunning!! Can't wait to see what you do with them xo

I loved this technique. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! You are so very welcome!
This is amazing! I’ve never had a desire to invest in alcohol inks but now I definitely need to get some! This would be great for die cut alphas 😍

Love this technique! Thank you! 💕
Thank you so much!
Such a cool technique! And the result looks incredible! I’m off to your next video to see how you’ve used them 😉💕 - Emma x
😘 Thanks Emma! I love playing with these inks, just wish I had a bit more control over it!
This looks like so much fun! I would probably only stop when I run out of supplies haha.
It is VERY addictive! Thank you!
Beautiful 😍👍
😘😘😘😘
This is fabulous! May I ask what was the gold that you applied? Is it gold alcohol ink or something else?
Thanks, yes it it, a gold mixative.
This came out beautiful! May I ask a question? I've seen people use the blended solution or the alcohol but you use both. Is there a difference?
To me, they react differently but I'm still learning and don't know exactly what the difference is. I know the alcohol is about 100x cheaper!

Looks like something taking place at a lab:)
😂😂😂 Totally!
