I laughed so hard at this one! The beer cans and safety tip killed me! Your production and editing gets better with every video. Worth the wait guys. Keep 'em coming!
+UndergroundTrev The Laughs are what it's all about! Glad it was worth the wait. This ain't a full time gig... We're busy dudes. But if you guys keep enjoying our episodes, we'll keep making 'em
How long did that take you? What welder did you use? I think the pervious owner of my 95 2D 4x4 XJ busted a few welds and I get a popping from what I think is body panels that have been a little stretched. Have ordered the stiffeners but have not much experience in welding. Have always wanted to though. That said, I’ll be getting a welder and the stiffeners and doing it my self. Any help or advice is much appreciated.
Big shout out to you guys, love your videos. I just purchased some BDS front coils springs after watching your Video on them. I'm ditching that 3.5" metal spacer. Thanks guys.
Weld thru primer is a good thing to spray on the parts prior to assembly to allow the areas joined together to have inner rust protection. water will get in between the rail and stiffener, you want this area painted wkth the weld tru primer.
Whoa! I could do this! Now, just need to learn welding. Also, Tommy's safety message reminded me of the warning a fellow solder gave before he shot himself in the chest with a star-cluster flare.
this might be my favorite channel, but it is hard to get subs when there are not new videos every week..i think these guys have real jobs they have to work around unlike some some other channels that have big sponsors and only need to make youtube videos. (i am a proud PB Roadhouse subscriber)
Yeah, we have jobs. The 10 min video thing is pretty crappy though. It's a lot more work to make a shorter, more entertaining, well paced video than just upload the uncut long edit. We would like to get popular, but not at the risk of making less quality content. So, we're not gonna game the system and post crap videos on the regular. We are coming up with a few things that will help us upload more regularly. We just have to work out our budget constraints. We may even go on a fan funded model if there's enough interest. We have a lot ready to go, it's just a matter of having the time and the resources. Thanks for your input guys. We love making the show and we're glad to have you guys in our audience.
I'm assuming the spacers mentioned go between the rock sliders and pinch seam ? Any recommendations on getting new holes drilled in stiffeners to match up with holes on frame where sliders mount?
+Rick James Bish We aren't running those sliders, but just got off the phone with Handicorn and he said, "Use the pinch weld to locate the sliders front to back since they already have the holes in them. Push the feet tight against the frame and mark and drill. That's going to get them real close."
For a long term Jeep build, has it caused the lower rail to rust out faster since it hold dirt and water more? Mine is rust free now, so not looking to compromise that really
I’m glad to find out you don’t have to take the coils out to do the front but do you have to take the leaf springs out to do the rear or can you work around them like the coils?
Be sure to Unhook the Battery whenever you are welding on a Chassis ... It will reduce the risk of frying the ecu ... Especially with newer cars or when using a Tig welder ..........
+BuccYJ Anywhere from 90 - 150 depending on what spots we were working on. There is some thin sheet metal in spots. It's kinda hard to gauge a solid number with the little Buzz Box we have. I find wire speed to be a more important factor.
+BuccYJ Right, but wire speed on a Buz Box like ours really just adjusts your "stick out", so when you only have "A' through "E" Amp settings, you can really fine tune it with the wire speed. Glad you like the new Logo. We've got something coming really soon about it.....
Do you weld these all the way around or just stitch weld them on? How do these compare to other brands? I noticed a lot of other companies run clear to the front where the bumper mounts are, is that a big advantage or will these perform the same? Thanks! I really appreciate these videos
If you want it to go all the way to the bumper there is another JCR kit to buy that stiffens the bumper mounts and steering box area . It mates up to that funky angle on the front of the JCR stiffener.
Awesome video. I am always entertained watching you guys as well are my 4 and 6 year old. What MIG welder do you recommend? my pos Harbor Freight one is doa. Goes to show that you get what you pay for. I am debating between a Lincoln Electric 125D and an Eastwood 135.
Hahaha! We were aiming for "safe for work", but the kids... OK. LOL We have a Lincoln SP-170T 240v, but I use a Miller at work of the same calibre I like 'em both to be honest, but mine would work better with a new whip. Recommend something 240v. you won't be disappointed
You guys should do a collaboration with bleepinjeep. You have the personality that Matt lacks and he has the larger subscriber base that you need to get your names out.
+nathrak Some people build their subscriber base in non-organic ways yielding higher numbers. The Roadhouse doesn't need "Non-Organic" subscribers to make them look bigger as their content speaks for itself.
+nathrak Appreciate that you wanna see us get big, but we wanna work with people for the fun of it. Big or small. Believe me, We talked to the Bleepin Guy, and saw a side of his personality that makes his videos look good......
Love your videos, but you SHOULD have shown the driver's side wheel well install. No one mentions, ANYWHERE, that you have to remove the track bar mount.
My advice is to try to plan ahead. Having to do it all in a day just to get to work the next day sucked. oh and if you have a 300 pound gorilla of a friend to move it around that helps a lot. I didn't.
if you have an xj there is no such thing as a body lift. the frame and body on the xj are integrated together. there are no body mounts on the cherokee. the body IS the frame.
I weld all the time. I haven't burnt myself in a while, thanks to Tommy's safety tip.
"Thank JCR for giving us a stiffy" is probably one of the reasons Tommy makes me laugh so much lol
These videos are absolute classics. I come back to them time and time again whenever I need a reference video when working on my cherokee.
I miss these videos. Cherokees and pbr are two of my favorite things.
I laughed so hard at this one! The beer cans and safety tip killed me! Your production and editing gets better with every video. Worth the wait guys. Keep 'em coming!
+UndergroundTrev
The Laughs are what it's all about! Glad it was worth the wait.
This ain't a full time gig... We're busy dudes.
But if you guys keep enjoying our episodes, we'll keep making 'em
Another premium video by The Roadhouse. Great job, keep em coming.
Won’t it rust where you grinded the metal? Maybe a weld thru primer first?
I just found this channel, LMAO the beers on that bench
You two are just a bunch of fun to watch, keep it coming.
+Phillip Bishop
Thanks a lot Bud!
Your comments ain't so bad to read either.
Cheers!!
This is quite possibly one of the best videos on the internet, well done lads.
I think this channel is gonna end up being really popular. Good work guys.
Thanks Bud!
Cheers!!

You guys simplified it perfectly
Love this guys they made really good videos on XJs
Big shout out to you guys, love your videos. I just purchased some BDS front coils springs after watching your Video on them. I'm ditching that 3.5" metal spacer. Thanks guys.

No ignorance or disrespect intended when i said "popular". I see you guys getting alot of subscribers this year.
+The DmaCk
I hope that's the case.
Either way, we're having fun doin' what we're doin'
Thanks Bud!!
Weld thru primer is a good thing to spray on the parts prior to assembly to allow the areas joined together to have inner rust protection. water will get in between the rail and stiffener, you want this area painted wkth the weld tru primer.
you guys deserve more than 7000 subscribers. keep rockin!

Whoa! I could do this! Now, just need to learn welding. Also, Tommy's safety message reminded me of the warning a fellow solder gave before he shot himself in the chest with a star-cluster flare.
Cheeseless Crust!
Safety third, hey?
That was great! Good job guys on another great video!!!
+sloppyjoefingle

+Mahmood al-Walled
Cuz you don't share enough........LOL!
this might be my favorite channel, but it is hard to get subs when there are not new videos every week..i think these guys have real jobs they have to work around unlike some some other channels that have big sponsors and only need to make youtube videos.
(i am a proud PB Roadhouse subscriber)
From what I know more content daily is better and over 10min videos get better ad revenue but yeah I figured they have jobs etc
Yeah, we have jobs.
The 10 min video thing is pretty crappy though. It's a lot more work to make a shorter, more entertaining, well paced video than just upload the uncut long edit.

I respect that.
You guys Rock. New Sub and how do you only have 6,000 subs. People will find you.
+ml2trick
Well we got one more with you.
Thanks Bud!
Cheers!!

+Broken Wrench Adventure
Yaharrrrr fellow Redbeard!
Thanks Bud!
If we're ever coming through, we need to go on one of them adventures with ya bud!
Keep em coming guys!
Be sure to Unhook the Battery whenever you are welding on a Chassis ... It will reduce the risk of frying the ecu ... Especially with newer cars or when using a Tig welder ..........
Man I really miss the road house. Even though tommy had to leave. I wish you could have be kept going. Would have loved to see the 360 go in
awesome like allways... btw. how many Ampere did u you use for the welding?
+BuccYJ
Anywhere from 90 - 150 depending on what spots we were working on. There is some thin sheet metal in spots.
It's kinda hard to gauge a solid number with the little Buzz Box we have.
I find wire speed to be a more important factor.
+Pabst Boys the wirespeed depends on the power u weld with.
btw. nice cartoonpic of you guys at the beginning
+BuccYJ
Right, but wire speed on a Buz Box like ours really just adjusts your "stick out", so when you only have "A' through "E" Amp settings, you can really fine tune it with the wire speed.
Glad you like the new Logo.
We've got something coming really soon about it.....
Hey guys! Any recommendations regarding the welding process, what is the preferable welding, and on what load?
Would it benefit welding the inside also or is that too much work?
Ha! Before the video starts first ad is for Miller Champagne Bottle! Yessss!!!!,... Real Beer!!!!!!!
Should have mentioned to spray weldable primer on the unibody and the underside of the stiffners those are going to rust like crazy
question do we need to prime the surface? what about rust in between the stiffener and the frame?
would be cool to see tou guys wheelin the jeep!
+doubletapm4
It's comin'
Just gotta get some work done first....
Do you weld these all the way around or just stitch weld them on? How do these compare to other brands? I noticed a lot of other companies run clear to the front where the bumper mounts are, is that a big advantage or will these perform the same? Thanks! I really appreciate these videos

You guys make great videos keep it up
+Grant Gibson Thanks Bud!
Will do...
Whatup guys?! Great channel. I like the humor. How about a roll cage install?
+Hilla P
Hey Bud.
Thanks!
That might end up on our list the way things are going...
+Pabst Boys Roadhouse Got another project for you that might not cost all that much. What about a LED light bar?
+Hilla P
Got some LED stuff coming up soon
Awesome video. I am always entertained watching you guys as well are my 4 and 6 year old.

I like 'em both to be honest, but mine would work better with a new whip.
Recommend something 240v. you won't be disappointed
do the front stiffeners interfere with aftermarket bumpers or ?
Damn I miss this duo.
Doan buun yoself. I love this guy.
What welding method did you guys use??

Haha. Beefin' the Jeep Guy.
They are probably 4000 miles apart. Kinda hard to do a collaboration
@@brianhaw9398 necro post
looking good!
dude I follow both of you (admiral and PBR). Your videos rock too!
Where do it get them for a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo?
well done dudes
Nice my Friends good job
ay y'all uploaded again!
And keep cans of beer quench any fire.
Hold on, you guys are from BC? That’s bad ass.
What kind of amps and wire speed did you guys use?
Can this be used to fix rusted out uni body’s
Love your videos, but you SHOULD have shown the driver's side wheel well install. No one mentions, ANYWHERE, that you have to remove the track bar mount.
I watch and I don't even own frame stiffeners - or a welder to put them on with! I do have an XJ though - would be weird if I didn't.
Wouldn't be that weird.
We watch Top Gear, but don't even own a Lambo...
dang,...just miss watching these videos, too bad there are no new ones..
Yeah,
There will be..........
I want to see you guys put a hemi in it
Got a other idea too... swapin rusty floorpanels... lol i seen some at yours...
+BuccYJ

Funny Boys!
+JeepTacular 48

+Pabst Boys Roadhouse
Oh,

+JeepTacular 48
Bwaaaahahahahahahhahahahahahahaah!!!!

+JEEP TALK SHOW!
Just a couple laying around.
is that a walter flap wheel? best ive ever used
+pondbear71
We wont use anything else.
Hands down. The best!
Absolutely. Too bad they don't help a bent t-case shaft because that's my project of the day. Yay SYE
+pondbear71
Haha Awesome!
We're gonna have to look into doing that at some point
My advice is to try to plan ahead. Having to do it all in a day just to get to work the next day sucked. oh and if you have a 300 pound gorilla of a friend to move it around that helps a lot. I didn't.
Doing both sides?
What's the url to that one video you talked about for us people how watch on our cell phones
+STINSONShobbies

It's a great video!!
+Pabst Boys
Thanks
Floor boards look rotted no?
How long roughly did it take to do the whole job?
+stewie222444
If we didn't film it.......
A couple of hours. Depends on your skill level and how many PBRs ya got in ya.
What kind of welder did you guys use?
Lincoln SP-170T 220v MIG
JCR gave me a stiffy hahahaha
what fenders are those? and where can I get them?!?
I built them, and you can too....
What welder do you guys use?
+Paul Duquette
It's a Lincoln SP-170T 240v
Old model, but does the job.
The cherokee was ground-breaking, BUT it wasn't the first SUV. I think that crown belongs to the AMC eagle
I would say the international scout.
Next video... hmmm Do much night wheeling? why not install some LED rock lights ;)
+JeepXJ8895
Like that idea!!
Who the hell are you guys, and why don't you have a million views?
A couple of nobodies, and dunno..
do they make these for a 95 zj?
I was looking at that. they don't but it would take little modification to make them fit.
Pabst Boys Roadhouse im going to end up fabricating my own mount.
That'll work too.
Good video!! Lol
CAT says Meeeer . His speech is slurred after some beers.
can u guys do a video on how to install a body lift cuz u guys are just fuckin awesome and i would love to install one on my rig but dont know how
Ya know, I might surprise everybody one day and actually pull that off......;D
if you have an xj there is no such thing as a body lift. the frame and body on the xj are integrated together. there are no body mounts on the cherokee. the body IS the frame.
I'd rather grinder lol than to scrape
We miss Tommy...
So that Asian dude doesn't actually talk like that does he? I am new here.
+Chris Crowder
Yeah, Tommy's got a bit of an accent......
BRING TOMMY BACK!!!!!!!
