@@tightlineshightides Your opinion please... I'll be fishing along the Texas Gulf coast in a few weeks. Passively fishing using a hi/lo rig in the surf with cut up mullet for bait would you recommend inline circle hooks? For "actively" fishing in the surf with live shrimp, what style hook would you recommend? Thanks very much.
@@kcirmusic1 Yeah I would recommend inline circle hook, but be careful not to make a big hook set when you get a bite. Big hook sets with a circle hook usually end up just pulling the bait out of their mouth. If you have a tendency to have a big hook set (most bass fishermen do), then you may want to look at the Khale hook instead.
