Hello. The problem with that continuous active horn is because that "circuit board" how you called it (by the way it is called a Horn Bridge), was not adjusted properly after reassembly in steering wheel. That adjustment of how much those horn bridge screws are torqued, is actually done by a machine, not manually by a human hand. So this is why the airbag got so sensitive when pressing. P.S. I work in steering wheel factory in Romania, which is actually producing also that R8 steering wheel.

What ended up being the issue with it being lose? I just installed one of these. The screws for that silver plate are super tight and the springs still have some play, but the airbag feels lose and wobbly
Added a custom carbon wheel to my car and it's one of the best things added to the car and looks great.
That was awesome getting some cool mods for the R8

the trick is that you have to grease those pins that are clicking in , common issue 😀
