I agree with you that it’s just money and not a big deal and That it’s slimy when they lie about it, but when they just keep it to themselves it’s a different story to me. When people know you have a bit of money they’re like vultures and some won’t stop till they get some of what you have. It can ruin relationships when people find out how much money you have/make as well. It’s just better for some information to be personal sometimes. It’s a weird thing for a lot of people but lying about it is ridiculous.

@@Kerleem I can tell you from experience that they work almost exactly the same way. Instead of leasing from say Ford Motor Credit you would go through a private lease company. You will still make payments based on a money factor ( basically interest) most of the time they don’t factor in appreciation because they lease companies are not car dealers they are financial institutions so they want to make money by lending not selling cars. Some companies like Ferrari will lease used cars and say you can only buy the lease or turn in they won’t let you trade in to a non Ferrari dealer.

Dude you need some education. A lease is a fancy word for rent. You are renting the R8. You cant get rid of it and make money. It doesn't belong to you. When the lease is up it goes back to the person you leased it from. Technically it goes back in the same condition as it was when you got it or you pay a penalty. As to the Raptor..you have to give it away since you depreciated it. If you sold it you would have to pay back the depreciation. So now for the new truck, you have no trade, and no cash from selling the old one.

I was surprised by how low it was, but you're insurance is great but you must have a clear driving record and dam you got a great deal with your AMG and your planning ahead is a good idea!!! The thought of having rubber bands on any large wheel is crazy when it comes to pot hole and the damage they can do !!! As cool as it looks specially here in Idaho you don't really have places like your buddy Chad to go fix or replace them along with the tires still cool but then you have wild life and trash on the road to contend with!! Worse if you're leasing and you put a significant amount down, because all you're doing is throwing away money, because you're giving the vehicle back to the dealer at the end of your term.

I have been selling cars simply because I am making good profits on them verses what I paid a year to three years ago for some of my vehicles. My wife and I are going from seven vehicles down to four. I am down to five at the moment, only one left to sell. In turn I have been investing the profits to further realize greater profits. You are absolutely correct in saying you could make money on the R8 by selling it but, what do you get? The only feasible option is an allocation on a new vehicle (hypothetically say ZO6) with a dealership that would not charge above MSRP. I am not saying get a Z06, don't do that, lol. Not that Vettes are not fantastic cars, I just don't think you are a Vette guy.

WoW Mike, I AM SHOCKED you pay so little in insurance, but I understand, the more cars you have, the less you drive certain ones, so they become less of a liability, Can you share what insurance company you have? Or do you have multiple for example, one company for the R8 than another for the passenger vehicles? (trucks and C63) - I am a 36 yo male, single, no children with 1 Truck and I pay close to $230 a month (bc of two accidents that were NOT my fault in the last 3 years) Hope it drops but before the accident, I was paying $130....Would love to see a video on what auto ins you have, how you chose them and what you pay??? Great you are doing well Mike, happy for you man. I am in the latter position you discussed. I have been selling cars simply because I am making good profits on them verses what I paid a year to three years ago for some of my vehicles. My wife and I are going from seven vehicles down to four. I am down to five at the moment, only one left to sell. In turn I have been investing the profits to further realize greater profits.
You are absolutely correct in saying you could make money on the R8 by selling it but, what do you get? The only feasible option is an allocation on a new vehicle (hypothetically say ZO6) with a dealership that would not charge above MSRP. I am not saying get a Z06, don't do that, lol. Not that Vettes are not fantastic cars, I just don't think you are a Vette guy.

Glad it is working out for you, I chose a different path, sold everything moved to SE Asia, don't own a car. I live on the same amount as your insurance every month

The temperature gage is at 90°CELSIUS it's about 190°Fahrenheit which is completely normal
So all AMG’s run hotter then the non ones. Mercedes-Benz does this intentionally. I remember when I would sell AMG’s to first time Mercedes-Benz owners, always a concern till I explained
