      Glad to hear the videos are working for you. I do have a very nice pintail for myself to mount. If I just get the time I will for sure film it.

      @@ArtofTaxidermy thanks buddy your the man. few questions. when do you inject and paint the feet at what stage? How do you also keep the feet from drying out? Last question. Which wire wheel do you use for fleshing. Thanks again.

      When it’s fully dry... but I’m getting more and more interested in separating the feet and inject and paint them a few days before I start mounting. That’s much easier. I use the heavy duty wire wheel that McKenzie sells.

    What foam do you use for your bodies and necks and where do you get it?

      The neck material is called Backer rod and the body foams are buoyancy billets both are purchased through construction suppliers. The blue foams come in big blocks.

    At what point do you paint the feet for this type of mount?

      50/50 formalin x glycerine on most birds. But for ducks it’s best to use masters blend.

      @@ArtofTaxidermy do you inject the feet for all the birds you do? Are there any species where you dont find that to be neccessary? Love your videos btw!
