I am struggling so much trying to get the fat off a Mallard Drake. It is almost destroyed at this point. No taxidermy possible at this point. But I am debating on whether or notnto just save the feathers and pluck them... I would rather save the hide attached. Even if there is still fat on the bird, can i Borax/cornstarch it?? It had ripped in too many places.

You need to invest in a wire wheel… it is a must for fleshing waterfowls.. and you have tried the most difficult of all the ducks by hand .. no wonder you have shredded it… you might still do it even after your 5th or 6th. Some ducks are better than others.. mallards are the worst.
You need a wire wheel.

Oh that’s a different thing… public videos are visible by every subscribed user… but the Tully tutorial videos are only for the members. There is a small monthly membership fee involved to let all tutorial videos gets visible. Once you click on the JOIN button it will tell you the cost.
