We have a local supplier make these panels for us. The Microdot laminate is available in sheets and can be applied to any substrate you like. It also is available in a lot of different colors.
We used an Earlex Spray station, it is a complete HVLP system that is turbine powered. It does not require an air compressor so no pressure settings to mess with. www.infinitytools.com/earlex-hvlp-spray-system
Andrew, this is great! Your videos are how I “discovered” Infinity Tools. I would love to be able to purchase Microdot covered material like you used for this table. Where were you able to obtain that?
Microdot sheets should be available from counter top suppliers that sell Formica brand products. If you have a large supplier you may be able to have them lay up a sheet on your choice of substrate for you.
Geez Louise! What's the secret to that technique used for 90 degree accuracy with the cordless drill. Looked like perfect 90 with no tilt in any wrong direction when drilling the holes for the leveling feet. The feet seemed dead square when they got dropped in too. Loose fit perhaps but I'm guessing it's just practice right?
Practice helps, having the cabinet up on the bench and not down on the floor also helps. I find drilling horizontally like this easier to get the bit straight than trying to drill vertically.
In our shop the tablesaw is stationary so we decided to go with the leveling feet instead of casters. It would be pretty easy to modify the design, just watch the load rating with all the cabinet space.
Awesome vid. Def using it for the awesome sled slots you made. Great detailed work and worth the effort
Glad it helped!
Very nice design. I especially like the miter track gutters.
Nicely done Andrew... I was excited to find you doing full projects. Keep up the good content!
Wow! Awesome build!!
Great video and project.
Nice build. I barely have the patience to finish a simple 2x4 workbench.
Nice build. Where did you get the plywood with the micro-dot laminate surface?

Did you use birch plywood good on both sides please and thank you.
Yes, we used Baltic birch plywood all the way around.
Infinity Cutting Tools Thanks for the quick reply. Great looking table. 👍
whats the air pressure setting you use for the painting. I see very little dust outside

@@InfinityTools Thanks for the information.
One more question. The leveling feet. What brand are they? I didn't see them listed with all of the other stuff. Thanks.
I am not sure, we have had them kicking around the shop for years. any post type leveling foot should work just fine, nothing special.
Andrew, yes but those leveling feet look really beefy. Nice wide feet too.
which router are you using the 21/4 or 31/4
I used the 2.25 Triton handheld for the dadoes in the top for the miter track and the 3.25 Triton is always in the router table.

I also really like the table top. What did you say that was?
It is called Microdot. it has a texture kind of like a golf ball, but flat instead of round. :)
This rocks great job :-D

I use the Earlex with all types of paint. I thin it with water or Floetrol
What leveling legs are you using in this build? I didn’t see them mentioned in the description.
These are 2" diameter post type leveling feet . We had this set floating around the shop for years, no clue where they originally came from.
fantastic but too large for my shop need to shrink it a schoshe
Good job btw pouring the milk paint. I would have dripped it all over the table.....and down the side of the can.
Nice table, castors would be better for mobility, but overall a nice build.
