My friend’s husband who was an artist once pointed out how gorgeous the clouds are in FL. We are all from the North East and we just can’t see clouds like these up there . Our country is going through some rough times right now , but it’s the best place to live . 🇺🇸
Your streams are always very informative, especially for folks in a period of life making decisions about where to live their retirement years. Villages looks like it has a lot to offer ✌️
I just found you guys and absolutely love you. I live in Tequesta Florida (northern end of Jupiter). I’ve watched some other ‘village’ folks but you are hands down the best. If I wasn’t so addicted to the beach I would be there… 🏖️
I see now the importance of sending pics in the landscaping view. You can see the pic that we’re standing under the Ketchikan sign but it fits definitely on the screen. It excites me to see myself on tv 😂. Thanks once again.
Oh Linda, you are not alone in watching your appliances! Fascinating! When we purchased our first front-loading washing machine years ago, I just stood there and stared at the clothes going round and round! 😵💫 Coastal del Mar (roughly translated Seacoast) is a lovely restaurant that Paul and I enjoyed on our anniversary in 2022, a month after they opened. Then we went back with friends for Paul's birthday, and we also took our neighbor as a get-to-know-you-dinner. We've liked the food each time, and the decor is pretty. You should join us at the other new one when we come back, before things get crowded. 🤗😋 Just got part of this week's puzzle. See you soon.☺
We agree the skies here are outstanding, more beautiful each day we are here😍Loving the term “ Hogwash”. My feeling exactly 😄😉Keep smiling through it all💗
Thanks again for such a great episode… by the way Love your new floors! Each segment was nicely done and the restaurant looks wonderful and the food looks delicious so happy you both enjoyed it for your anniversary. Have a nice week see you all Thursday ❤
Another great show! We just got a robot vacuum as well. My wife had it program the Angola, Indiana home while we are here and is going to take it to the Villages home when we move there full-time, which is very, very soon. I’m also very excited to see live performance coming to the Tracy, what a great thing for all of us south of 44.
Hi Jerry and Linda. Got the word scramble. Loved the video about The Villages running the sprinklers while it is raining to lower the retention pond levels.😁 Randy and Penny
Id take fabric car seats. I live in CT, my car seats are leather, and i have to use beach towels on the seat and back otherwise i have sweat marks on my shirt back when it's hot
So great to be included in a “Mailbag Monday”! My chocolate binge took place at the Hersheypark gift shop in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I was on a “eat all the chocolate you want” diet at the time, which, by the way, doesn’t work.
The Studio theater show Exit Laughing is very good and funny!! Everyone should go and enjoy a great night of entertainment. Support the Arts in the Villages😀
Another great show. Love you guys! I finally moved from Monument Colorado after 36 years and am now in North Port Florida. I couldn’t do The Villages because I have too many animals. But now I can watch you guys from Florida! I love it.
How is the flooding on the Evans Prairie and Turtle Mound Golf courses. When Irma dropped 11 inches, they were completely submerged. One blogger showed 13 inches in his rain gauge from Debbie.
Overseas? Nah! I'll stick to the good ol USA. No place I'd rather be. Our photo made it into the show! But it was cropped, you didn't show our Jerry and Linda inspired tshirts! We got here, now we just gotta see ya! ❤
Hello Jerry and Linda great video as usual. I don't think I want to live overseas because I am in my favorite place now TV. 70,000 homes are a lot and hope there is money left over each year to cover higher expenses. Yes and we don't have to clean garbage cans. Hope you both have a wonderful week and try to stay dry!
The UK for sure! I did my student teaching in London back in the 80's, Loved it! I have been back there about 10 times since. I love the Yorkshire Dales region. Probably because it's James Herriot country. I went back to see if I could get a teaching position at the Chiropractic college in Bournemouth after I went and got a degree in chiropractic(I didn;t like teaching little kids) didn't get the job so I retired after 30 years of being a chiropractic here in Wisconsin. ((still no interest in the house.)) Still praying for what is to be.
Hey Jerry and Linda. Finally I can sit and watch. Omg. Look at that sky in the video as well as the water in Lebanon. I have a lot of online friends in the UK. Wouldn’t mind living there. Wow. $13 mil/month. $159 mil a yr? Wooooow. My car has a remote start but the air blowing doesn’t turn cool til I put the key in the ignition 🤷🏻♀️. Oh happy anniversary you two ❤️. Didn’t see an anniversary post on Facebook. Hooters actually has yummy comfort food. My husband and I go occasionally. We have Good Rx in NY. Correct Cindy. It’s your insurance or Good Rx. Omg. Thanks so much. I’ve been condensing the comments. Too long 😂. As usual love the shoutouts at the end. Grand week and see you Thursday 🤗
Oh man, I have a black crossover with black vinyl interior. It was fine when I lived in NY but in Florida not a good choice. Very hot. But we have remote starting which helps. Next car may be white.
Awesome show as usual guys!!! I couldn’t live without my robot vac!!!!!I’ll be back down to play another show at world of beer in brownwood on August 23rd, hope to see you out! World’s best hamburgers on me for the night! Haha… hope to see you all there! God bless you both- cheers my friends!!
Overseas my choice is the Philippines. My wife was born here, I've been with her full-time since 2006. We tried Florida (Mount Dora) for a year but couldn't stand the costs, the waits for medical care and the continual road rage. Moved back to the Philippines and have been happy (and saving money) ever since. BTW, the vast majority of people here speak English, it's one of the official languages of the country. We still love your shows and enjoy hearing what's going on in the Villages, but for now, the other side of the really big pond suits us fine. God Bless.
The skies here are so beautiful compared to Long Island, NY also. I think it's because of the amount of industrial pollution. I would probably live in Italy if I were to choose a foreign country. Your robotic vacuum is programmed with "time of flight technology"! It is able to measure the distance between itself and objects, puts it in memory so that it can avoid those objects the next time around. That's just a simple explanation. Isn't it fascinating? I was so fascinated I chose Computer programming/Operations as a career waaay back in 1969. Worked 30 years for Sperry/Lockheed Martin and 10 years for Stony Brook University. The system we have for garbage disposal is great! You put the bags out and the trucks come by and scoop them up and like magic, all garbage is gone! No wind blown empty garbage cans rolling down the street or just out front because people forget to retrieve them. I have a Friend coming to visit this Saturday and I think we will go to that restaurant Coastal Del Mar and check it out! The food looked good! Thanks for the info about GoodRX. As usual, great video Jerry and Linda! ❤❤Hugs!
I’d probably live in England but would have a hard time driving on the wrong side of the road🚘⚠️Some of your background going down a path makes me “car sick” YIKES! Happy belated Anniversary! Hard scramble, still working on it. Thanks for another great show!
Hello Jerry and Linda. I would love to live in Switzerland for half the year and the USA for the other half. Both are beautiful countries and have lots to offer. Also regarding gyms, I would like to see Planet Fitness come to The Villages. Great work out and only $10.00/month. Thanks once again for a great video. Enjoy the week!
Right now the skies, especially in the evenings look somewhat different because the Sahara sands are blowing across Florida right now and make the skies look different!
I would live in the south of France. I feel good in the USA. I’m aware of all the things going on over here. I’m old so I watch a lot of news stations. Can’t walk much or I would be outside doing and going. Last time I fell hard on my head in a parking lot I decided to stay home and go out when my daughter and son-in-law are home. They will take me anywhere anytime.
Just watched your video on our big screen TV and I wanted to jump on here (because I can’t comment on your videos on our big screen TV) and say how much we love your videos! I have your song memorized and I sing it really loud and obnoxious every week and my husband laughs at me. And that salty comment. Just ignore those, those people have issues they need to deal with.😂😂
Linda your so cute watching your robot. Mine is called Roombasmile and I did the same thing just watching it. It was unbelievable to me. I feel so lazy when it vacuums. I scheduled mine to Come out at certain times. It's amazing. Sometimes watching your your show is like going to church. You seem to know what I was thinking and also now, what backdrop picture of TV I needed to see. Very encouraging. See ya when we get there❤
I would have to pick Australia if I was not in the good 'ol USA. I was going to work on the word jumble, but I had to go get my drink first ... half and half of tea and lemonade ... oh, wait ...
Your fish meals looked delicious. Good idea about the slaw. Since slaw is a favorite of mine I would ask for mayo they won’t ask why. I had some slaw with mayo but also some bread and butter pickle juice. It was delicious.
Besides groceries. Where do you shop? For example, i have 2 malls 10-20 minutes away and many stores up and down US1 in southern CT (Milford) with stores like REI, Wholefoods, Athleta, DSW, TJMaxx, Sephora, Kohls, furniture stores. Etc. Thx !
The robots will go on any type of flooring. They will go carpet to hard floors. I'm a long time cleaning lady and I always suggest people get a robot. That's how I clean my own floors most of the time 🎉🎉🎉
I would go back and live in Australia! I did live in Australia for two years, lived in the Philippines for two years, lived in Cyprus for two years, lived in Germany for almost 5 years, and believe it or not, I lived in Beirut, Lebanon for two years! I would definitely go spend the rest of my life in Australia if it were financially possible for me!
If I had to move to another country, I would first choose somewhere in western eastern maybe even southern Europe, next choice, Japan, and then England or Ireland. Learning another language doesn’t stop me. I welcome the challenge.
Some years back I was considering Switzerland to live (have lived in Germany twice and so would travel there on the way to Italy or Spain for summer vacations). However, Switzerland requires you to be pretty well-off financially (and you have to submit proof of income) as they don't want any "deadbeats" living there. Not to mention being allowed to retire there permanently (resident requirements seem pretty restrictive). I'm guessing it's not as easy being an expat in that country compared to most others. As for language, you MIGHT get by with only English, but it'd be better to be able to speak French, German or Italian (depending on what area of Switzerland you choose)...all 3 would have you very well covered! ;-) Of course, Switzerland is a very scenic, clean and "upscale" place to live...they have a very high standard of living. But as usual no mater what country you choose, medical care varies greatly (from none to great), and in some places it's very expensive. That and taxes all need to be researched. For me? I'll likely stay in the USA...at least I can speak (and read!) the language here (my German is a bit rusty). Oh...and I'm not quite rich enough for Switzerland...it's tough being confronted with the realization you're actually seen as Riff-Raff. :-( How sad (well, not really). ;-) -- BR
Please add more salty comments. I like to see your responses to these nut cases. Have Mr. Bubble Wrap do a segment showing how to clean and adjust out sprinkler heads. I believe there are a number of different types of sprinklers in the Villages that may make this hard to do.
That is where I live in NZ. I have been to many countries but would not change. I have a robot vacuum. I have central vacuum system and use the robot upstairs and like Linda I watch its every move. I find they are not the easiest to clean or to do corners properly.
Great program. We all get hooked on things we will never need. Garbage bags and no totes. We have to keep our totes inside garage until trash day. Trick is to use costco trash bags for oder and flies.
Now my Monday is off to a good start. On to Thursday! Great video. Enjoy you two so much. I hope you are safe and well while the storm, Debby travels through Florida. ⛈️🙂
Wow, to my Surprise, you showed my video question in todays MBM.Great fun to see folks answers to my question. Living part of the year here in Lebanon is a unique experience of family, seashore, mountains, antiquity and history, language and cuisine. However, current events have reshaped perception and added a most uneasy level of uncertainty. My motto, Pray for peace and change the hearts of those with other goals. Our Robot vacuum is Rocky and she does a great job and sets you free of that task. I think you'll love your new floors, J and L. We love ours in Leesburg. Peter, we have a hunter system, but the box is outside. This is a great phone feature to add, thanks. Solved the scramble. Always great to get new dining options to try when we are back in Leesburg. A great show, thanks again! I'll be sure to share it with all my Friends.
Every Country I think I might like to live in, I then think of something I don’t like about it. I’ve been (vacationed) in 29 different countries, some twice, nothing beats the good ole USA. In the 35 differed States I’ve been to, I would pick Kentucky, where I was born and raised. Foe a very short time we were snowbirds. Didn’t like that either. When in Fl felt like a was missing something in Ky and vice versa. Like my life the way it is..live in Fl visit Ky
The cost of the gym is actually pretty inexpensive. Prior to the pandemic, I joined a local Y and it was $90 a month! I like the variety of memberships; if I lived in The Villages, I would probably go during the hottest months. Thanks again, Jerry & Linda!
I’d live in Italy 🇮🇹 although I’ve never been, what entices me is: the food, the warmth of the people, the education and medical systems are par to the US.
70,000 homes in the Villages and 70,000 people creating youtube content. Jerry and Linda are the gold standard.
LOL! Sure feels like it. Thank you so much.❤
It’s soooo true. Everyone is vlogging in the villages!!!
My friend’s husband who was an artist once pointed out how gorgeous the clouds are in FL. We are all from the North East and we just can’t see clouds like these up there .

A small French village outside Paris. Stone house, small garden couple chickens & A goat.
Sounds great!

Congratulations on your Anniversary Jerry and Linda. Another enjoyable video.

Thank you Marge, sorry for your loss.

I would not live outside the United States. Good show I know you put a lot of time in to make these. 😊
I’d have to choose the Czech Republic because that’s where my wife is from! Living there in the summer would be just fine with the winters, no way!
Thanks again for such a great episode… by the way
Love your new floors!
Each segment was nicely done and the restaurant looks wonderful and the food looks delicious so happy you both enjoyed it for your anniversary. Have a nice week see you all Thursday ❤

Yes, I did wash my windows last week. Thanks for the inspiration.
Yes!!!
Happy Anniversary Jerry and Linda. :) :) :)
Thanks so much
So great to be included in a “Mailbag Monday”! My chocolate binge took place at the Hersheypark gift shop in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I was on a “eat all the chocolate you want” diet at the time, which, by the way, doesn’t work.
LOL!!!!!
If ya have to be in a power outage do it on a Monday so you can watch Jerry & Linda from your phone! Great show Jerry, Linda, Peter and Cindy!
😁😁😁😁😁
Thank you.
Is Peter on IG ? I would love to follow him , great tips

LOL, That is why we ask for landscape photos, RUclips is cropped to a 16X9 format and to get faces in that's all that could be done I guess.

Thanks for sharing!!
Now my Monday is off to a good start. On to Thursday! Great video. Enjoy you two so much. I hope you are safe and well while the storm, Debby travels through Florida. ⛈️🙂
Always love your show. Thank you again for a great Mail bag Monday.
That sky represents God’s majesty to me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
I really liked the backdrop photos and the video content this week. Great job!
Thanks so much John!
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
El salvadore the safest place in the world, just gotta brush up on my espanole.
The cost of the gym is actually pretty inexpensive. Prior to the pandemic, I joined a local Y and it was $90 a month! I like the variety of memberships; if I lived in The Villages, I would probably go during the hottest months. Thanks again, Jerry & Linda!
$67 a month for two people in CNY. Rarely pay extra
It must vary in each region.
Love your programs love both of you never miss a program wish I could live there.
Thanks so much Peggy!
$13M comes to ~ 600 FTE employees, +/- 20% ... or about 1 FTE per household.
I'd live in the country of Belize
Great shot of Jay chugging the peanut butter!
I’d live in Italy 🇮🇹 although I’ve never been, what entices me is: the food, the warmth of the people, the education and medical systems are par to the US.
