Jerry and Linda appeal to many people for many different reasons? They provide useful information about The Villages for those who are living there and for those who are thinking of retiring there? They seem to be the kind of neighbors that many people would like to have? They seem to be like the parents or grandparents that many wish they had? They seem like really nice people who care about others and many of us find them entertaining to watch?
Not just retiring people watch, I’m in my 40’s with elementary aged kids and I watch 2x a week! Love you guys you inspire me!!!!
Some people were Grumpy when the were younger, and it continues as they grow older, that being said " love Ya", and of course THE GIZ!
I am agreement people writing ignorant comments are just rude. I guess some have not learned that if "you can't say anything nice don't say it at all"! 😃

Great interview Ruth Dyer did a great job! Hearing you discuss your old home of 33 years such as old family memories, how much you accumulated, going up/down stairs and the house maintenance as you get older. Makes me realize just how much after 50 years we have accumulated in our current home which we also built and what we will have to do if we also move to a smaller home. Sadly, living in Canada the way the housing market is; even if we sold everything (vacant lot and our home) we would not get a home as nice as yours in The Villages.
Teachers teaching folks about the villages is very helpful and useful. I'll see ya when I get there.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE living in The Villages - Fenney. And I am really happy there isn’t tons of storage. I LOVE having less stuff, having less to maintain, clean, organize, repair, insure, feel guilty about not using- the more FREEDOM!!! Don’t store stuff when you move here- get rid of anything you don’t use every day and experience freedom!!

I'm in Southern Indiana also, but on the opposite side of Indiana in EVANSVILLE!! My Mommie and Daddy lived in Clearwater for years till they passed away!! They loved it!

Hello. I discovered your RUclips videos the other day, and I really enjoy learning about The Villages and the two of you and Gizmo! My wife and I are coming to The Villages in August for our Lifestyle Visit. We were in The Villages in April visiting some friends for a day. While we don’t retire for a few years yet, I like to do my research ahead of time. Thank you for these videos!

Really enjoyed this interview! ♥ Like you, we wanted a beach home and were actively looking for one in FL. Then our friend Dave told us about the TV. It sounded to good to be true. We booked a lifestyle visit to check it out and fell in LOVE on Day 1. We knew this is where we wanted to be! After our Lifestyle visit, we rented for a month and bought in 2019. Best thing we ever did! The Villages ®is AMAZING! Plus the beaches are only a 90 minute drive to either coast! An easy day trip and no hurricane worries!
