I wish the author wasn't quite so "fire and forget", but it IS nice to actually GET new content and have it be wildly new. Thank you for going through these, berry berry cool!
I have played 4AD (with several supplements) and AAF. I only played AAF a couple of times, but I keep coming back to 4AD. I hope Andrea creates some supplements for 4AM, then I will definitely pick that up. I looked into the game a bit, and it seems a bit bare-bones as is.
Yes, now 4AM is a good starting point, and interesting that people keep posting all the fan made stuff for 4AD, but in case of 4AM it is only the need, and I don’t know anything except the maps. 🤷♀️
Awesome video thank you! Been a long time fan of this game. Have wondered about Alone against fear, I've got a few files for that game, might have to pickup the rules and try this out! The way you say book is just endearing I must say . 😁
Is Four Against the Great Old Ones better in learning how to play in the Cthulhu genre? I played Alone Against the Flames with the starter rules for Call of Cthulhu, and didn't learn at all how to play the game more then just rolling dice. I ended up not enjoying it.
I had the same experience with Alone Against the Flames. The gameplay and the system is very different, but with 4AGOO you have a full game, not just a starter. Also the Lovecraftian mood worked much better for me!
@@luckyszilvi Yay! Ya the CoC books are a lot more expensive. I do like the mechanics of CoC. I just don't like how much they stripped for the starter rules. I can't understand how the game should be played not just roll a d100.

This is fabulous, loads of stuff I didn't know existed - FA Titans will be something I look to get - many thanks :)
Really good info and I love the FB page!
Great info! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! 😊

I really want to check out the Cthulhu-esque one!

@@messenger3478Yes, I was just disappointed that half of the CoC character sheet remained empty at the end of the game…
Do füleim hear magyar accent? ; )
You have good fülek! 😉
@@luckyszilvi Yep, an innate +2 to all Észlelés skill tests! 😏
