another good one! thanks for these videos. I recently switched back to Pocketlands after rewatching your mapping video. I had become bogged down with an overly complex mish mash of rules for generating my overland hex crawl travels. I just created a fresh party to play this and also used the newly released twisted traits book.

Thanks for these videos. I´ve been having so much fun watching and making my own adventures playing 4AD. Was wondering where you get your character art from as they are amazing and i would like something similar for my game journals. Thanks again for the great content and please continue making these. Is Four Against the Great Old Ones better in learning how to play in the Cthulhu genre? I played Alone Against the Flames with the starter rules for Call of Cthulhu, and didn't learn at all how to play the game more then just rolling dice. I ended up not enjoying it.

I wish the author wasn't quite so "fire and forget", but it IS nice to actually GET new content and have it be wildly new. Thank you for going through these, berry berry cool!

I have played 4AD (with several supplements) and AAF. I only played AAF a couple of times, but I keep coming back to 4AD. I hope Andrea creates some supplements for 4AM, then I will definitely pick that up. I looked into the game a bit, and it seems a bit bare-bones as is.

Tank you for this, Nice video. I started playing this myself a few years ago. I just have the pdfs. I took them to a place that printed them out. Put in binders. I then kind of got interested in actual playing and just got OSR Dragonslayer in hard cover and some of the mega dungeons, and started playing. (So 4AD basically got me wanting more in a way) Love your work.

Well this is really impressive :) I love the way the your game play weaves its story into any new results and future events - this is the story telling part of 4ad (and similar games I'm sure) that can sometimes be missed, and to some folk leaves them feeling it's "just all random rolls on random tables - why not get a computer to do it" --- so much adventure packed in to here :)))

I love that the end result is the kind of found artifact that if you discovered it lost at a bus stop would absolutely be mind-blowing.
