I am 61 and disabled, on a very limited income, so paying for canva is out. I don't even have a mobile phone I can use canva on, I use my laptop for everything :) And after watching the video to the end, I say thank you for the video! It helps a LOT - I semi-understand canva now!

You could do something similar with MS PowerPoint (if you have it), or its free equivalent on Google, Google Slides. :) I've played D&D adventures just using Google Slides.

Thanks to your video, I am now using canva to make character sheets and such - thank you very much! It was so overwhelming before! And yes, the video was so good I left 2 comments :)

This is really innovative. Great tips! I'm on the pro plan for my work, but hadn't thought of using Canva for gaming too. I'll definitely be trying it soon. Thanks for the video!

Have tinkered with Canva before - but never thought of it as a gaming tool, but some great ideas in here :) -- The character sheet looks fantastic -- look forward to seeing/hearing more from you

I hope you see this comment :) I cannot for the life of me figure out how to clip an image that gets uploaded as 1 piece and chop it up into smaller pieces like you do with your maps. I'll upload a page and it's all 1 image and I cant' do anything with it. How do you chop pieces out of it like you do?

@@luckyszilvi So if I want to cut out 10 pieces of a map, I have to upload the pic 10 time and just crop down on each piece? I can't copy and paste parts of a pic/element? If each map is 5 megs, that's 50 megs of data for 10 small map pieces of about 500 kbs data. I am just confused, not upset, and this doesn't make sense to my neurodivergent brain. I am sorry :(

@williamroeben You just upload once and then paste as many times as you need. Or I prefer to place one, and then copy-paste-crop

@@luckyszilvi Danke schoen. I'll cut them up in a 3rd party program, spend the time uploading them separately. When I've tried cropping in canva, I can't get it to crop ANYWHERE close to good- always close, but never right. Thank you very much for replying, it is appreciated!
