Thanks Kate for the tutorial! On alignment: if you keep pressed the Shift key while moving any object - at least with texts and images worked for me - it can maintain/lock orthogonality as in Revit. We have but we just love Canva so much. We won’t rule out exploring some other design tools on our RUclips channel (and have a bit) but for now Canva is our main focus when creating digital products.

Try dragging the photo from the left hand side menu, and bring it over your blank design, being sure to hover with the photo until it fills the canvas. Then you can release the click and it should fill the entire canvas.

@@KateHayes I know there’s a text box but say you put in an arrow for example, and you want to fill in that arrow with a picture you put the arrow in and then you drag the picture in and then it fills that up just like it would if you had a big letter there and then it fills the letter with something, but I would like to have a symbol there arrow or something, but then have words in the arrow itself and I cannot figure out how to do that? Thank you.

You can only add photos! So if you want to add a graphic, you would need to download it first as a PNG and re-upload to add to a frame

You can use gradient elements and stack them along the side of a photo

Is there a relatively simple way to hyperlink the final png image so that clicking it will take someone to another website?
You can click on any text or element/image and add a link to it, with the link button found in the drop down menu

Is there a way to get a font that is not listed in Canva? I want to use Baltimore Bold, but it is not in the list of fonts.
Yes if you have Canva Pro, you can upload your own fonts into canva through the brand kit
