Yeah from 92 to about 99 he was cool and was still decent in 2002 when he came back to WWE with Hogan and Nash in the nWo after that it was down hill for him with his drinking and drugs glad he is doing better now though and off drugs and drinking
@@jdirty3460 yeah Scott Hall was Awesome from 1992 to about 98 after that drinking and drugs started to wreck him and change him I think after he came back to WWE in 2002 with Nash and Hogan the nWo and was then fired that same year I think that was then end of his career and we knew it everything after that was downhill for his Wrestling career
RIP Razor! Thanks for all you did for the sport. Thanks for your dedication while struggling with addictions and demons. And thanks for making my child badass. You were one of the reasons I fell in love with wrestling as a kid. We will never forget you.
watching this makes me love DDP even more. He was able to save two people who seemed like they were beyond saving. God bless Diamond Dallas Page for saving the lives of Jake the Snake Roberts and Scott Hall.
Wish i would of know, i'da chipped in. Also, yes, good on DDP for helping them, but a lot of the footage I seen was DDP shamelessly plugging his Yoga wares. But, Hall is alive, guess I'll take it.
... He didn't save anyone. They saved themselves. Coming from a perspective of being in the same boat as these afflicted individuals, i've had a dozen DDP's try to save me. But thats a load of bullshit.. it's up to you to save yourself and nobody else can help you. It just took a matter of time for them to realize that.
big mike obama completely untrue. Look at the hogan roast. They made fun of his wife and son and daughter all who weren’t there. Have you ever even watched a roast? Like seriously have you?
I don't know what DDP's secret is, but as someone who has worked with numerous people in recovery (and, often, relapse), I'm damn impressed. Good on ya, Dallas.
zooropa04 TheAustin83 there’s been a lot of things I been thru with alcohol .. and ima tell you ... DDP did his job as a friend but it’s really on the person so Scott needs just as much credit ...
Dude when HALL attacked that reporter for mocking owens death EVERYONE was backing him...Owen was his best friend on the road....I would have helped hold him down
daniel hirt I don't think that's true, it was a roast and Hall was wasted, joke was in poor taste but the night wasn't about him, if he had that much of a problem he should have had some class and confronted him in private.
richardtheconquerer not really for you to say, there are all kinds of stand up comedians, just because you don't like them doesn't change their job title. Best kind of comedy has shock value in my opinion, if you yourself are getting offended about a joke about somebody you don't know then you need shoveling in a pile with all of the other snowflakes.
Samuel Woods calling someone a snowflake at least lets me know what kind of moron you are so thanks for that. Anyway, my point was that it was just some guy; I don't believe it was actually a professional comedian. And shocking jokes can be great but like every joke, there's an ingredient that's far more important: being funny. His joke was lame. As far as being offended, I wasn't but I also didn't know him. Hall did. I'm sure if your mom or whoever died in some horrific way and then some lame "comedian" made a joke about it IN FRONT OF YOU, you'd probably react differently.
I’m pleased to hear that Scott was able to get a handle on his problems before the end of his life. It’s terrible that he passed away in such a way that he did, but a blessing he was able to live out the rest of the time he had happy and free of the torment of his substance abuse problems. RIP Scott. And may you be an inspiration for any of those struggling. May they be inspired that if you can get clean, so can they.
Since X Pac never gets the credit when I hear his story I'll just say this it was actually X Pac who reached out to DDP via message and then DDP reached out to Scott Hall
Yup. Just like Nash reached out to HHH to warn him HBK was in a bad way and they needed to make up. Kliq's always there for their brothers at the end of the day.
As an addict in recovery, fair play to Scott Hall. Kudos to DDP as well, probably saved Scotts life! You are totally right when you say addiction is a family disease, great video, took this one to heart for sure!
My fav my dad's fav.. he looked a little like scott.. my mom's fav too.. but honestly the only super cool super smart and very genuine human being.. He is very right when the video plays how he tells his kids.. drugs n alcohol work they are fun but you can't stop once you start and it's n everyday battle to be sober n clean.. this video has told me that it can be done n I feel a little relaxed that if these guys who were doing way more shit than im doing can clean up so can I.. thanks to the uploader Thanks to Scott Hall .. Kinda on rant here I shud stop thanks all.. just cool memories.. 😎😎
Just set your mind to it, you can do it if you really want to. If you have problems with alcohol then it's a good idea to get help from your Dr. It's not something that you can safely stop without help, it can actually kill you.
One thing you guys got wrong, Scott Hall didn't reach out to DDP, DDP reached out to Scott Hall after hearing about how down and out he was. Overall, good video, i enjoy all of the videos you guys put together
RIP bad guy! One of my favourites whilst I was growing up. I done the Razors edge on a classmate on school field. Good videos as well, professional done.
I was sad watching it but at the end he changed his life the part that touched me was when he said “you can’t even keep a promise and it sucks when you can’t a promise to yourself” wow!!!
Yeah glad he is doing better but he looks older than 60 I mean Nash is 59 and still In great shape and allmost looks like he did 15 years ago minus the grey hair
One of my all time favorite Wrestling Superstars! Im glad his doing better these days! After loosing so many over the years, Savage and Warrior hit me the hardest. Elizabeth also, yeah you might have grown up seeing them like i did on a weekly basis through your Tv screen, but you do over time develope a sort of love or relationship for the Superstars you know and love. Im just glad he's still with us Today. He's still one of the greats regardless of his demons.
I’m rewatching this video again and first time I watched this I realised Hall and I were both born on the 20th October (but different years, I’m a few decades younger)
"I was one of those guys who didn't drink and stuff until really late in life," Hall said when asked when his addiction issues surfaced. "Of course as a teen I tried stuff, a sip of beer and stuff like that, (but) I didn't start really drinking what I would call abusively or alcoholically until my mid-30s, which is kind of late. This...makes me so very, very happy! I loved Scott Hall as a kid and it's so good to see he's taken his life back and is living happy and healthy. Great vid!
This video was great. I haven't heard about Scott Hall for years and the last time was him being in a wheelchair and it broke my heart since he was a favorite as a kid watching WWE and WCW. Glad he is doing well nowadays
Personally I think this is your best episode to date. Thank you for doing this one. It has been amazing to see Scott make the most important and impressive comeback.
It;'s kinda a shame considering other wrestlers, ike Hulk Hogan who are around his age or older in better shape. Glad DDP was a friend to him when he needed one. He seemed to help him out.
Scott Hall/Razor Ramon is one of my favorite wrestlers!! It's awesome to see her is keeping up the good work and staying healthy and happy. Also what DDP-YOGA does is awesome, can't say enough about it!!!
I was in attendance for that TRP show in April 2011 (11:20-12:00).. the fan quote is on the money. It was truly heartbreaking and absolutely painful to watch. That's a hospital bracelet on his wrist.
These are great documentaries! I haven't watched wrestling since the 1980's, but spent my life in the sports collectibles industry. It's refreshing to see what actually was going on in the sports entertainment field at the time. Thanks for your hard work & dedication to the field. I was there the night of the shooting at the DOLL HOUSE. I remember Scott quite well. Just found out he became a wrestler. Wow for some reason I don't remember him looking like this haha wow you go Scott
Scott Hall is the greatest singular talent the wrestling world has ever seen. The guy had it all. Never been anyone else like him. A sliver shorter than Hogan at Hogan’s tallest. Storytelling work ability and psychology in the class of Michaels and Hart, Promo skills in the class of Rock and Stone Cold. The fans were begging wcw to force Hogan to count the lights for him and Nash, wanting the Outsiders to turn on Hogan together thus claiming the main event. That’s what needed to happen, turn them babyface and have Bret Hart join them, replacing Hogan in the nwo (now a babyface brand) Montreal Survivor Series through Wrestlemania with Stone Cold decided the war. Wcw spit in it’s fans faces.and never truly recovered. The fans gave them more time to pull the trigger on it, they didn’t leave until it became obvious they weren’t going to see Hogan forced to lose to Hall or Hart. That’s what the fans were demanding, as they were clearly the favorites of wrestling fans around the nation. Sting was over, but he was really beloved by the former southeastern territories. Hall and Hart were beloved by wrestling fans around the world for their ring work and psychology. But Hall had even more than that and the fans were captivated by his undeniable talent and charisma. Him never winning the big one is the biggest travesty in the history of the business.
The pain in a smile to entertain all is a responsibility. One thing he said that I believe hold heartedly is it sucks when you can't keep a promise to yourself
THE BADGUY was my favorite character wrestler growing up I had every scott hall toy and I was so bumed when he spiraled. So I'm super happy that he's turned it all around
Enjoying these documentaries as always. Hall and Roberts are such miracle stories that at one point you or I expected to hear of their death in the next year or so. I'm very happy they've recovered from their demons as a fan of theirs. Keep up the amazing work Wrestlelamia
His Razor Ramon character in WWF from 92 to early 96 was Cool and I remember when Scott Hall came through the crowd on WCW Monday Nitro back in May of 1996 He was so cool and so Cocky Then Nash Showed up a few weeks later and The Outsiders were Born and that was the Start of what led to the nWo forming at Bash at The Beach in July of 1996 with Hogan Hall and Nash 96 and 97 nWo ruled Wrestling
Wrestlelamia I love when you do these behind the Titantron episodes!! Dude... they are so friggen good!!! And this episode in particular was one of my favorites. Hopefully it’s not as long before you release your next edition but either way we’ll all be waiting to watch it.

Scott Hall back in the 90’s was one of the best villains ever. He was so cool.

Aye yo.. Chico. Say ello to da bad guy
Bad times don’t last but Bad Guys do
You gotta put a pause between those to statements - enough time for Hall to look directly in the camera!! Chills!

God Bless Diamond Dallas Page
DDP also saved Jake the Snake
DDP is actually Jesus
The guy has done a world of good!!
I am soooooo happy 4 Scott Hall! He was able 2 overcome it, & that's always good news! He looks great!💪
Hes amazing! Bang!

So if it wasn't for Hall's quick thinking we would've gotten G.I. Yo instead of Razor Ramon.
Exactly. It's instances like that which show drugs arn't bad all of the time.

Hall, Piper, Roberts

He was at his best as Razor Ramon, THE BAD GUY with the Razors Edge!! Thank God for people like DDP!!
Once i noticed, i believe it was Halloween Havoc '97 maybe '98 , the ref gave Scott Hall a pill midmatch, he swallowed it and kept the match going.
One Of My Favorite Superstars Of My Childhood. Razor Ramon.
DDP what a gem of person he is❤
I'm happy DDP was willing to take that on, he is a genuine good person. Prayers for every one struggling.

I always thought he was amazing as a teenager.
I never knew he was going through such pain.
These episodes just keep getting better.
Here after hearing that he will be taken off Life Support today. I never knew he went through all of this.
I remember him in cowboy hat n best in awa
I look forward to watching these when they're posted. Thank you for making something awesome.
👍 great recovery! Good inspiration!
Wrestlelamia I love when you do these behind the Titantron episodes!! Dude... they are so friggen good!!! And this episode in particular was one of my favorites. Hopefully it’s not as long before you release your next edition but either way we’ll all be waiting to watch it.
I'm glad Scott got healthy but looking back now I kinda hate all the members of the Klick especially Nash and X-Pac
DDP's work in helping other people are heavily underrated
God bless DDP. This guy has saved 2 hall of famers and so many more with his Yoga program.👐 bang!
