These sort/destash videos have inspired me to do my own destashing. Your criteria for deciding which ones to keep or let go make sense to me and has made it somewhat easier for me to make my own decisions. There's something really satisfying about letting go of things that don't spark joy (or which are dupes).
Ohhhh i love orange a broght one is lovely for holiday or when the suns out hete in UK! Im darker skinned tone so compliments my skin well, love a coral too. You have a lovely collection tfs
Ian is in the same room as me watching this and as soon as you said "I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye", Ian was like 😢 LOL. "Orange Drink" is lush! I love that it is slightly singed hehe. I have "Gingerbread Sparkles" too - I think you me and Nika got that one around the same time. I love oranges so much! I'm gonna wear all the rich oranges this autumn hehe. You gotta put "I'm Rover It" on your autumn rack this year!
It seems like you’d already curated your orange polish collection pretty well, so there wasn’t much to destash. I never liked orange until I started wearing nail polish again a few years ago. I’ve discovered I actually enjoy wearing bright or neon orange and a burnt brownish orange in fall. Thanks for sharing! I’m curious to see what you keep in your yellow polish collection. That’s my least favorite color (it looks terrible against my pink toned skin. ☹️). I know it’s the color I have the least amount of but still way too many considering I don’t wear it often. 😂 Someday I’ll get my swatch sticks organized and do a more curated destash.
As a Dutchie I have a couple of patriotic orange polishes. 🧡 They clash terrible with my skin tone. I only like the reddish orange shades on me. And then imagine those two kinds of orange in different finishes and that’s all the orange nail polish I have 😂 Edit to add: I keep the peaches and corals far away from orange. But I get the grouping.
True orange doesn't look good on me dude to being warm, but Oranges with red undertones look better on my skin, the thing about them is, I'd think that I bought an orange, paint it in my nails and it dries redder to the point you can only tell is orange when it's near red, I've destached and kept trying and my sub collection is getting there.
Like you, I'm not a fan of orange (it makes my cool-toned skin look YELLOW). I do have a few fun ones, including Orange Drink. I either wear them in nail art, or just try to admire the colors themselves, and IGNORE how they look against my skin.
With my pink undertones my skin just clashes badly! There are some I can wear (or maybe I just ignore the clash because I love them?) but I’ve not yet worked out the reason. So I just buy those I really like the look of and give them a try 😂

@@jackiesparemoments orange certainly can be a tricky colour to wear.
