- An excellent evening spent at the always amazing station of Blecthley on the West Coast Mainline and the Marston Vale Line where we see plenty of services from London Northwestern Railway, Southern, Virgin Trains and freight from Freightliner, DB Cargo UK, GBRF, Royal Mail and DRS
Bletchley was built in 1846 by the London and Birmingham Railway once the line was completed from London Euston to Denbigh Hall which was located roughly 1 mile north of Bletchley station. This was at first considered a major station due to the fact that Milton Kenyes hadn't been built let alone even thought of yet. Once Milton Keynes had been constructed the importance of Bletchley really fell away especially when the East - West route had been downgraded. This isn't to be confused with the new East - West rail link that is currently being constructed from Oxford to Cambridge. Milton Kenyes railway station was given intercity importance in 1982.
My next station is Ashford International.

What a really good film and recommend it to anyone browsing for something to watch Because it has a voiceover with the train nos and lots of additional facts, Tornado can only film what comes through, but he sets the bar very high
Epic action Bletchley has offered you :-)
Bletchley is always a great station to come to and yet it is one of the few on the WCL that gets overlooked by many spotters which seems slightly odd to me
that was excellent seeing the royal mail train i used to live in willesden great freight trains too i see your going to ashford international were i go on and off for the past ten years so you will see some eurostars going over the flyover there hope you have a great time there 😀👍👍👍
Thanks very much I really enjoyed the evening here there was so much to see
Great video, wcml is going to get even more busy when the 91s comes in for Great North Western Railway.🍺👍
Thanks very much, I'm really looking foward to seeing what the future holds for the WCML when the new trains come into operation
Will this be besides the grand central services?
Fantastic video, yet another top draw station. As always i really enjoyed the freight trains, especially towards the end the GBRf 66. GBRf are my favorite of the freight operators with DRS next. Regarding the 185s the leasing company who own them say there is nowhere else for them to go in England, Scotland or Wales and that is why a number of them will go over to Ireland. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
Thanks very much, this was an amazing evening spent here there was so much to see. I wasn't kept waiting anymore than 10 minutes of a train to come passing through. Thanks for info in regards to the class 185's
Another cracking video, thoroughly enjoyable with the mix and match of traffic. Bletchly certainly doesn't disappoint. The 'D' stock you referred to at the beginning is the refurbished and re-classed 230 units entering service I should imagine when the May timetable changes (yet again). A few major TOC's will be introducing new rolling stock at the same time, so plenty of new toys to look out for in your future videos.
Thanks very much Paul. This is always a great station to come when the traffic is just right, seem to be rush hour is the perfect time for the majority of the freight to make an appearance which I shan't complain about. I look forward to the new timetable coming into affect and hopefully it wont be as much of a mess as when Thameslink brought their one in
Fantastic Video Here! I really Enjoyed this :)
I also have a video up too and tell me what you think
Amazing video tornado
Thanks very much
What excellent commentary and observations. You certainly have that "voice"!
Thank you kindly for saying so that really is greatly appreciated :) Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you :)
Great video.
Thanks very much
Really nice shots Jarred! Shame no Class 230s showed up, oh well, a 57 is always the best thing 👌
Thanks very much, the 57 more than made up for it so I will happily take that
Great video
Thanks
This film has everything, what a perfect balance. Truly needed this for a pick-me upper. not to mention your subliminals have pushed me to start buying a Train Sim for my PS4.. Thanks! C'mon, bruv. If she ain't dirty, she ain't working proper. #DirtyBird ;-} But really, great show of speed, brute force and wit, loved it all. Can't get enough Green and Yellow and 66556 was just beautiful, 66710 was another prize. Brill' film mate, Thx! B.P.
This was a fantastic evening spent here, the WCML always has a great amount of variety in terms of passenger and freight traffic coming through. It never fails to disappoint :D
Nuff' said! B.P.
Lovely video
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this
I've found out that the NRM have purchased a Pacer, namely 142 001, although at present it is still in service. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
Oh dear god that's just madness
Wonderful film Jarred, great few freight trains in there as well, hope you and your family have a great easter and thumbs up from me mate
Thanks very much, we all had a great Easter I hope you and your family had an equally good if not better one!!
I like the 319s in Thameslink Livery.
Great video as always, I was only over there yesterday!

I WAS THERE YESTERDAY!
Always the case
Nice Video there!
Thanks very much
i saw a drs 66
ok
Well I like new wagons but it was a shame the shed hauling them was dirty
They do look good in the new colour scheme
What happened to 377/7's while the 377/2's took over the Milton Keynes area
they are currently running services in the south of England
I saw a west midlands railway class 170 in the new livery with a class 153 (that looked the same as the one at 4:20) at Kidderminster about a week ago
Edit: more like 4:12
Edit 2: It was that exact one as well! Same number lol
Well its certainly being kept busy across the entire network haha
Indeed it is
Are the 350s on third rail
The type 1 was able to as they were used by Southern Briefly before they got additional 377 units
33:16 tornado i think that was 390130
Right ok
You’ve confirmed my suspicion that 390104 no longer has the Alstom livery :(
It's a shame that they didn't keep that livery.
It was a great livery on that unit. It is indeed a shame that they got rid of it
How class 66 got dirty?
It could've been from the sight it was working on previously
What happened to your beloved class 70 freight locos?
I have no idea but I'm sure I will catch a few on my travels
3:41 Is that from Milton Keynes Central
34:57 first time I have ever heard you say “evergreen” or “maersk” xd
Righteo :)
Did you see new on Facebook GWR HST is leaving farewell gwr HST
I did see that yes
How many trains came from Manchester Piccadilly? Too much
3 trains every hour go from London to Manchester. Which makes 6 trains every hour passing through the station going to and from Manchester
4:20
