    I've said it all year, Wicks is gonna be a problem, he reminds me of Adams, his route running and patience is incredible for a rookie. He's gonna be special, as is Reed. Those two with Watson opening up the field with his amazing speed will let them two just embarass one on one coverage and find holes in any zone. Love is gonna pick defenses apart with these 3 guys, not to mention Doubs and Melton. This group can grow with Love to be one of the best in the NFL. This is just the beginning, they'll get better with more time, reps and another training camp to refine their timing. Gutey did this all in two drafts and off-seasons. They are already leaps and bounds better than Lazard, Cobb and Watkins, not to mention Musgrave and Kraft are better than Tonyan and Deguara. Simply amazing, Gutey deserves a ton of credit for completely transforming the WR and TE units in two off-seasons. I'm beyond excited for the future of this offense.

      It’s amazing to watch these players grow, especially since there’s so much development left. I was confident Love was the guy going into the year and was only projecting 8 or 9 wins. The rollercoaster has been real, but progress is rarely ever in a straight line.

      @fml5910 with Watson's potential on a rookie deal, why would you ever give him up? If he stays healthy he could be amazing, I know he's been unreliable as far as injuries but he's young and there's no harm giving him a chance. It would be a nightmare if he ended up in our division and see him become a star. I have faith he'll be a big threat in this offense. I'm just saying don't give up this soon. GPG!!

    I got really into the draft process last year for the first time and the one guy I came away with with a circle around their name was Wicks. Watching him this season and seeing him play how I saw he could and see the potential he flashes every game has just made this season so much more enjoyable to watch as a packers fan. With more polish with age I think the sky is the limit for him, I am beyond exstatic that we got him on the team.

    Jordan was a touch late on the first TD to Wicks, not the first time I’ve seen that from him either. I’ve been so impressed with Love this season and he’s 100% the QB of the future, but I think some of his throws put guys in dangerous positions

      @TheScoutingPack  5 месяцев назад +5

      As I mentioned, Wicks was his 3rd read on that play. He had the flat to the post, and then only saw Wicks as he was breaking free. So, of course it was a little bit late. Part of the dangerous throws are because of his confidence. Gunslinger mentality, which can give you the “wow” throws, but can also make mistakes.

      They’re continuing the trend of firing the offensive staff while keeping the head coach. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a trade of Fields to Atlanta, and the Bears pick a top QB. It’s going to be an interesting offseason for them, but I think Poles has been doing a great job! Getting DJ Moore and the first round pick for the upcoming draft was incredibly smart.

      I mean, that’s what they did. They knew going into the season that these guys would play a lot and it would help them develop; they could have brought in veterans, but they didn’t. @TheScoutingPack last 4 games testing Bo Melton ain't really testing...more like Watsons injury and Doubs gave him game time...I didn't see any opportunities given before...this is where we lose if we wait for our starters to be injured...this is why Packers will lose out on potential players if we don't rotate and test around...example we end up keeping players like MVS for years just to lose out on potential rookies to roster...1950s mind set gotta go and we gotta stick to the 2024 NFL mentality...that's why other teams are able to take no namers and embarrass packers in games...

    • @TheScoutingPack
      @TheScoutingPack  5 месяцев назад

      @@tonyvang2127 Is it not the job of the GM to find players who can step up in time of injury? They believed in Bo Melton, which is why he’s on the active roster. Multiple teams cut him before he got to the Packers. Even when Watson was healthy, we had a steady rotation with Heath and Wicks. The coaches and front office see the players everyday and know what they’re getting, which is why we’ve seen players constantly on the field.
      If Watson comes back, and Melton completely disappears, I’ll change my tone, but I don’t think that’s going to be the case.
      It’s ridiculous to say they’re not testing anyone when they willingly went into the season as the youngest team in the league. We also have to think that we no longer have Aaron Rodgers, who often had extremely high standards before he could trust young guys. It’s a completely different time from the MVS days.

    Offense has been on a roll lately in no small part because of the o-line play--specifically Walker's improvement--that said, the interior of the o-line has me pretty concerned, quite a bit of quick pressure up the middle, a recipe for disaster, especially against a front like the Cowboys'.
