my fav GB WR at cost, but the industry (including me, though i am tiny) has pumped up the price in the streets due to Dontayvion Wicks Awareness Month in May
Came to this video after a 23 point game from Wicks. With Watson and Doubs out this week I think we see Wicks really break out the way we’ve all been waiting for.
Dude is going to make noise. The way he handles his body and dominates his defenders effortlessly to get the ball is insane. He flows so naturally. Love is going to lock in on him because he always finds space. The new AB?
This is one of the best game planning coaching staffs in the league. There’s room for good wideouts on this team. Imagine a healthy and always fresh Watson, Reed, Wicks, Doubs, Melton. Five WR sets. Two minute offenses, rotating in fresh, awesome receivers every play. GB top five Off and Def this year watch
If this ends up being true, it’s really going to go to my head. He was one of my favorite players I that class. Didn’t think he would go super high but when he had that slow 40 but man I never saw that slowness on tape. It was just talent.
What makes it even better...GM traded pick 45 down twice to 50, taking Jayden Reed. With the two extra picks Dontayvion Wicks was taken in the 5th round and Karl Brooks in the 6th. Sans injuries all 3 could get 2nd contracts.
I said before last season when everyone was hyping up the other 3 WR, Wicks will be the best. Literally reminds me of Deandre Hopkins. Great route running, great hands, isn’t the biggest but can get open against any coverage
Although his 40 was only 4.62 someone just game out with a new metric that works out game speed vs 40yd dash speed and I think Wicks came up with one of the biggest differentials - his projected game speed was in the mid 4.4s.
You guys need to do some homework. There was a really bad event at Virginia that affected Wicks personally. It’s a testament to his character that he is doing so well. Check it out.
Y'all sleeping on the Packers best receiver Bo Melton. Dude flies, catches everything anywhere near him, and is an absolute beast when blocking down field.
Watson, Doubs, Wicks, Reed, Melton, both tes doing well, and Jacobs, should evolve this team hopefully it all meshes. Nabbed Wicks in dynasty for a 3rd during the off-season I'm excited
Packers should be using all of these receivers unless one starts to fall off. Its gotta be a huge anvantage to always have a fresh guy rotating in. And I expect Wicks to stand out in a rotation and earn some more snaos than last year for sure.
As a Packers fan I strongly dislike the "best receiver", "Go to receiver", and "No.1 receiver" conversations. I don't think GB really has one and I don't think they will at the end of the year either. I don't expect any of Love's receivers to put up huge numbers. Not because they aren't capable, but because Love is too good at spreading the ball around. Which makes this offense and the entire receiving core, TE's included, much more dangerous.
If injuries occur, cause it’s football, whoever does stay healthy would end up getting more volume and then someone would end up emerging as a go to receiver.
James, they're obviously not going to "sit down Christian Watson" to give Wicks more snaps. Watson has been a star when healthy and will be on the field as much as his hamstrings allow. Wicks will play plenty, and I do believe that he's a huge breakout candidate, but yeesh.
I say it's watson hands down when he's available of course. But if both are on the field Watson. I believe Wicks might be or 2nd best it's a toss up for me out of him and Reed but I prefer players ability to get open over anything and Wicks was the best at doing that so I lean Wicks BUT!!! Watson's presence out on the field helps open everything else
@@brettjensen1912 He went to a specialist in the offseason and pinpointed what was wrong with him. The muscle mass in one leg was bigger than the other. The weaker one is the hamstring he keeps pulling. So hes been working on building equal strength. Hopefully that fixes it.
Wicks is going to be Davante Adams Reed will be Tyreek Hill Watson a superstar if healthy Doubs a superstar if healthy Melton will be a star There are others too that are just as good like Heath Now add 2 superstar TE's A superstar RB and up and coming star RB Nobody is going to beat this team.
@illiniryan27 you ask anyone with common sense in the fantasy community who thier top 3 packers WRs are and I guarantee 90% or more of these experts will leave doubs out of thier top 3. You wanna hype up Doubs off of that 1 game where a defense completely shut down, be my guest. What you said is irrelevant to the actual topic.
What are we talking about? Watson had 3 TD's a game multiple times. If he stays on the field he will get much better at route running. He is by far the most imporrtant player in the receiver room. Wicks should be WR2. Reed in the slot. Doubs in 4 wide. Or rotate Doubs and Melton in periodically,

Just picked him up last night for Khalil Herbert and a 4th 🤞

Wicks has the best shake and bake of all WR's after the catch.
malik heath is twitchy as fuck too. he's made a few guys look silly.

That's it, Harmon. Hydrate yourself. You're the hardest working guy on the internet! Many thanks my brother...
Came here 40 seconds into the video to see this.
Wicks is my favorite packer to draft at the moment. Lets go!
this is why I love you matt

I like what you do here on your own channel, Matt.

I reminds me more of st brown than dhop
As a packers fan, can we please keep wicks a secret so I can draft him late. He’s gonna be so good with our wr room can’t wait to watch him flourish.

Wicks n Reed are great
Both of them are superstars but so will be doubs and watson and melton

I cannot believe i just found this channel. Like you on underdog found you searching wicks lol
Dude reminds me of someone I knew from a small Alabama town, Don'tpaymeon Saturday. Never made the NFL though.
You guys need to do some homework. There was a really bad event at Virginia that affected Wicks personally. It’s a testament to his character that he is doing so well. Check it out.
Sitting Watson is insane. Watch how many players follow Watson when he runs beyond 5 yards. His gravity changes games!
Watson is made of glass.
Every good offense needs a deep threat like Watson to move safeties. Hopefully he can stay healthy
I don't know which I'm more excited about, Wicks and this offense or Matt fully embracing his gym bro era with the Vuori hat and massive water jug
Y'all sleeping on the Packers best receiver Bo Melton. Dude flies, catches everything anywhere near him, and is an absolute beast when blocking down field.
The Packers top five receivers all have a solid case to be their best wide out.
Man I think Watson is the1.Alpha
2.Reed
3.Doubs after that Melton andWicks are just as good
Melton has drop issues
Mr. Wick has shown to be very unselfish & a Great Teammate.

He the best in the NFL
Packers GM traded pick 45 to 48 and then to 50, resulting in Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks and Karl Brooks. MIC DROP!!!
I need to preface, as always, by saying I don’t think he’ll be as good as Davante, but Davante ran something like a 4.55
Wicks could be a great later round value
Been saying this. He gets OPEN
Watson hasn’t been inconsistent, he’s been injured. When healthy, he’s consistently their biggest play maker.
He was really inconsistent last year, all year
Wicks is going to be the next AB
@@nate12403 because of injuries… when he has spotty production but was healthy all year then we can call him inconsistent.
@@anthonycaruso5527 maybe. Not going to be upset if he does become that.
@@anthonycaruso5527 AB like Antonio Brown? No brown was 5'11" and ran 4.47 which is respectable. He has a better chance being Adams.

Watson is soft and will continue to be wasted potential
Wicks reminds me of Sterling Sharpe.
Finally everyone is coming around. Watson is the most important though.
Wicks is the next best WR in GB and Reed is the new cobb
