    9:58 this is a bold prediction considering how great the 49ers are at the moment but I’m so excited to see how these playoffs play out. I could really see 3 of these teams winning it all(sorry Detroit, I like yall but yall got some holes to fill, especially on that defense. If you guys pull it off that’d be an insane flex). It’s super interesting to think about all the possibilities here, if the Chiefs win then Mahomes suddenly has a top 5 QB all time case and depending on Kelce’s performance he might jump up to the GOAT TE spot. If the Ravens win then that means Lamar would be on track to become a top 10 QB of all time candidate by the end of his career. If the 49ers win then that means a bunch of HOF(or eventual HOF)-caliber players at different positions get a ring, but most importantly Kyle Shanahan finally gets the ring he’s been waiting for, which would place him among the greatest coaches in NFL history IMO.
    And on the off chance that Detroit wins it all? That would be arguably the greatest underdog story in the history of sports considering the fact that people viewed the Lions as a poverty franchise less than half a decade ago.
    Regardless of what happens, we’re in for a treat with the rest of these playoffs!

The imbalance between afc and nfc is crazy. Afc has so many great qbs in mahomes, lamar, burrow, josh allen, herbert, Lawrence. The nfc has some good defenses and solid qbs but the afc seems like more of a gauntlet with gamechanger qbs from top to bottom. 49ners, eagles, and even lions are more feared for there physicality, run game and defense. Its good football and fun to watch but the afc games feel more like one of those star qbs can flash and make those comeback wins. The nfc wins by getting ahead and staying ahead

    @harrymills2770 11 месяцев назад

    It appears that Derrick Nnadi, who's been out of the lineup at DT, will be back for the Big Dance.
    Things to look for:
    KC's un-sung corners, Jaylen Watson and Josh Williams. KC's got a pretty mean nickel and dime defense, with a lot of big DBs in their back court. Those 2 guys bring good size down the depth chart, and they match up well with bigger WRs and even TEs. They're also all very aggressive and effective against the run.
    KC got a LOT bigger in its secondary in the 2022 draft. All those guys are in their 2nd year, including Williams and Watson, but also Trent McDuffie.
    KC can get away with things on D that other teams can't, because of guys like McDuffie and Sneed. And because all their DBs are assassin tacklers and hitters, they can play an aggressive style of nickel that other teams can't. With Chris Jones as their only real star on the defensive line, KC has to inject LBs and DBs into the pass rush to get consistent pressure (and actually sack QBs). Those same LBs and DBs getting regular penetration into the backfield is also very disruptive against the run game.
    This video talks about how big and stout the KC D-Line is. That's also a factor in that "big nickel" I'm talking about. They're not a scary front 4 by themselves, but they're BIG, and so KC's not giving up that much by swapping out a LB for another DB. And their dime is scary to watch. So much speed there, and they can also run-blitz to offset the missing LB(s).
    So look for that. KC knows how dangerous CMC is. The best way to mess with him is with penetration and getting hits on him in the backfield.
    '9ers love to run wide. KC has DBs that make that very difficult. Believe it or not, SF WR blocks against KC DBs may be a big factor.
    SF D is stacked at DE and in the LB corps. Their secondary has some weaknesses, but a great front 6 or 7 can more than offset that. Plus KC's WRs don't really scare anybody, either.

      Win the run game. When they load the box throw it. Their defense thrives on coverage disguises and blitz twists. The ravens have Lamar which changes the game. Option, draw, etc. the defense will be forced to change and load the box more resulting in passing windows opening for Lamar

    Spags has implemented an almost bulleit proof system and has the dubs to back it up. I don't agree that they dont have any star power, our defense will always be under-rated because of the big names on the other side of the ball. I'd argue Chris Jones is a top 5 DT and George K. is a second year rook and from the eye test plays eerily similar to Chris Jones and might have the potential to be better than Chris in the end. Our secondary imo is best in the league, Sneed had a monster year with no recognition for it, McDuffie had his most quiet year this year but still is an All-Pro DB, with the other All-Pro in C. Ward from the niners being an ex Chief. KC produces top tier DB talent (Berry, Peters, McDuffie, Sneed, Reid, Cook, with a bunch more younger db's still coming up). Our LB core has to be top 3 in the league and when fully healthy I believe we're the top two cores itl, (Nick Bolton, Willie Gay, Drue Tranquill). But yes Spags maximizes the potential from all our defensive players.

    saying the chiefs D doesnt have much star power is very silly. They have two all pro cornerbacks in need and mcduffie, the best or second best defensive tackle in the league, and a very solid and reliable MLB in Nick Bolton. They may lack some of the sheer high end talent that Baltimore has but they also have no weaknesses in terms of personnel and are very deep with solid players. But regardless a team full of very good solid players can be as good if not better and more dependable than a defense with a couple stars and some obvious weak spots.

    Been talking about this for a while, how the Chiefs just SUFFOCATES the line of scrimmage with big, strong players, blitzes, and tight man or zone coverage, a lot of the time in press. A complete reversal from the most common style of defense right now. And NFL offenses which are used to attacking primarily zone coverage and match concepts are finding it difficult. I'm bay area born and raised but I think this defense gets it done against the niners, who have shown weakness to this kind of defense.

In the Secondary they have two of the Best corners in the league in L’Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie and two very good safeties in Bryan Cook and Reid which makes this secondary one of the best if not the best in the NFL. Now the Linebacker corp is probably the Second-Third best in NFL with a beast in Bolton and two underrated guys like Gay and Chenal. The chiefs defense is loaded, this is just the year the young guys took that step and it all started to click.
