Pure serenity by proxy, thank you! Also the van camping makes it possible to stay in places where there aren't any B&Bs, or anywhere else to stay off season.
Easy job replacing the indicator Shaun, loads of how to videos out there. Do your mirrors fold in on your model? Usually push down on the mirror joystick thingy.
Mate you need to be careful cooking in the van. The yellow tinge on your burner is incomplete combustion due to lack of oxygen. Carbon monoxide forming. Im a gas engineer. Be safe
Fun video, so glad the van is in order. Enjoy it,you worked hard. Also have someone fix your solar and use solar box as a backup. You spent a ton . Hope you fix it. Happy Sunday hope mum ,baby are well.always great to see your videos.
I know this place because I stayed in New Mills for a week once and drove through Truro to go to Trelissick, recognized the Aldi right away. I love Truro, because even when I stayed in St. Ives I would always drive up to Truro. The Waitrose on Union Hill Rd there is special, it has a Cornish section, very unique!! Beautiful place place it is - The Malaysian Emmet
Cutting board's a nice idea! BTW, I think there may be a way to set the locking function so it doesn't beep the horn. Try google or YT. And... I, personally, like the van build stuff. It helps me with ideas. It's all part of the journey.
Sorry I haven’t commented for a while. We’re still enjoying your videos, you’ve done a great job with the van. Looking forward to watching your adventures again 😊
So good to see you back in your van and going for adventures. The rent a bike was fun. I see the chopping boards are all sold out. Good job on that. The baby is sure growing. Looking forward to the next video.
I will never get fed up with your videos Shaun, they are never boring nor do they go on for too long. I have learnt so much from your van build. And thank you for your latest post - back on the Advanture. PERFECT ... is that Cornishspeak? Sorry to be a pedant - I am afraid I unable remove my editorial hat.
Shaun, in The Old Ale House, it was Peanut shells on the floor. There are bowls of them all over the Pub to help yourselves from. Great live music there on Monday nights too!!!
Gordon Ramsey eat your heart out lol! a view like that make any dinner taste great.Brilliant as always mate. Loved the bike ride and the pub looked brill crocs and all ...
Shaun, I want you to know that I enjoyed very much your van build videos. People can’t just watch something and enjoy it anymore, they just love to bitch and moan about everything. Thank you for everything you do.🙏🏻
For me the PERFECT video x you parked your van exactly where my parents used to moor their boat x we used to have picnics and beers in the Green shed further up x I worked/lived in Truro and used to run the Malpas Road to the Heron Pub and back regularly x my favourite run and definitely the BEST view in my opinion x you should have turned up towards the Heron Pub instead of left to Truro. I did enjoy revisiting the Old Ale House again though thanks!!!
Wing mirrors indicator covers held I with few screws pulls mirros out there on clips. Indicators costs less than a tenner. The beep is because a door is not registering closed or you have messed with the interior light switch that's shows when door is shut and turns off the interior lights. Probably find its rear doors.
Hi.. You horn going off is a faulty door lock. Basically the van thinks there is a door open and warns you by blowing the horn. We run a van hire company and they're all transits, had this problem loads. Might be worth a diagnosis that may tell you which door it is that's playing up. 👍
Great to see you back out and about. I have loved the van builds but really enjoy the weekend trip away. That said, I know you're going with the power station but would love to know why the solar to battery didn't work there could be a good lesson for those doing something similar? Cheers
Hi Shaun….. as I recall with my transit and it’s beeping when you lock it…. If you look at the side door when open there will be a contact area so that the door lines up with. Mine was dirty… cleaned the contact area… and jobs a good un. Hopefully yours is the same.😊
That was a beauty shaun, those bike are everywhere in Penzance and a friend off mine looks after them and he had to get some off them out the sea because people just throw them over the wall 😡 glad to see the van is all in good working order now 😊
Really loved the journey, wanted to undertake the same, but ended up buying a caravan, just ordered a bamboo chopping board for our caravan, not for chopping on, but making brews on to protect the work surface…. Perfect 😀
My friend i enijoyed the videos of the work in the van. Il you pass trought Italy let me know. I’ll help you find parking at Canossa Castle and show you cycling router. Tanks for your videos. 😃👍
The horn means that one of the doors isn’t locked. Do you need to check all your door switches to see if one has broken that means the van thinks the doors open.
How you road around the roundabout there, on a bike, you're crazy 😅. Glad you got your new van back & are able to go out in it. We only took that gorgeous walk down to the pub for breakfast, from Malpas this year . Very good by the way..
If you love meatballs you should buy Smorgasbord ones. They are precooked and only need warming up. They are proper Swedish ones. They are great cold as a snack too.
So great to see you out in the van , we loved watching the build and that video was hilarious especially out on the bike lol but please put a helmet on next time , your meat balls looked lovely .. can’t wait for the next video 😀😀
How could someone enjoy watching a camping channel without enjoying the build videos? That's one of the biggest parts of owning a camper, right? Building and fixing stuff? Well for us it's mostly fixing stuff... haha...
Question: How often have you stopped somewhere with a 'no overnight parking/camping' sign and actually been moved on late at night or had agro from locals? I'd be worried about having to drive off in the dark to avoid the arguments and then have to find somewhere random to stay that I hadn't planned. Only done a minimal amount of stealth car camping so far so not sure how common the above is.
It very rarely happens to be fair. But I don’t drink alcohol just incase I do have to move. Worst case scenario if they know just don’t answer the door. I’m more concerned about getting parking fines
You should try the carpark at the end of Lawrence Rd in Mountbatten Plymouth- amazing views and just a water taxi ride into the Barbican (for a Cap’n Jaspers!)
I confess to skipping through the van build vids Shaun but I did keep up with your endevours with it on and off. Lets get back to the Indiana Jones stuff! That Beryl bike seemed expensive just from Malpas to the town centre? 🙄
Fab video Shaun the van build as you know has been essential to me as I’ve almost copied your build and learnt through you mistakes but I am now glad to get to see the Stealth Camping overnighters back again good stuff #choppingboardbagged

Nope, I didn't get fed up. It was fun watching you build it out.
All good, did not get bored with the build and great to see.
You didn't twist your head when you said "cheers". I love that part!
I've watched several of your videos now and love them. I decided to subscribe today. BTW your baby is adorable. But, man, they grow up fast :)
Shame to see your dropping the van build videos. Really enjoy the content of both van build and overnight stops in Cornwall.
Lovely Malpas! Lived there for 24 years in two different houses. Loved that view every day. Charlie is growing away & mega cute.

The van build videos were great Shaun!
We like van build videos, they're really useful as there are plenty of van lifers and people interested in getting a van to convert into a campervan.
I love ur van build videos don’t stop do it all
I only came for the van build. Good luck with your ventures.
Your van build has been outstanding mate ,always find it interesting how u put it together from start to finish.👌🏻
I loved the van build. 👌🏻 Id watch ya do another 👍🏻
I’ve enjoyed your build series. I also enjoy learning how you stealth camp where you can. I’m planning to go full time in my van. Eek!
Pure serenity by proxy, thank you!
Also the van camping makes it possible to stay in places where there aren't any B&Bs, or anywhere else to stay off season.
The horn beeping when you lock the van is because it thinks one of the doors/bonnet is open, so check your door switches. Happy camping, dude.
Hi Shaun great vid have u named yr van. Great park up with a lovely view. Maxx
Beautiful free spirit!👍👏

Brilliant video so enjoyable, the van looks fantastic...❤❤

Nice to meet you too Liam
I have enjoyed your build process and don't mind how long it takes because reality happens. 🙂
Parked there for car picnics many times but never thought to camp there. A definite new spot indeed.

That’s why I bought 4 for camping can use two stoves n hv 2 spare or if need to can hv more than 2 on at same time
Dude we love the build videos , don't apologize. Did they replace the turbo ? Fix your solar properly.
I like the van build video's ! Maybe do one catch up one in a few months covering all the finishing touches ?

I think the indicator unit can be switched out, but you have to pop the mirrors out to access the screws.

There used to be a pub like that in Somerset that on the floor helped saok up the blood
£20 is quite expensive for the bamboo chopping boards.
@@ricatkins4918 they sold out in 4 hours so to some people they were priced just right.
Awww! You think of me as family?!
😂 out of respect love it, I need to be more like this
'no camp sites for boats'... They are called marinas.
Yea but my point is they do t have to use them if the don’t want to however campers are only allowed to use campsites
You make me want to do this so mutch I'm going to get my self one sometime
I don't think you do any unhappy videos Shawn
U need some cheese on them balls budd, but they do look delicimo. I ❤ your tyres aswell, nascar stylie 😎
If the horn beeps while locking it usually means a door has not locked!
Only a man would use these new pots without being washed first 😂
100% 😂
Apparently the horn thing is that one of your doors isn’t quite locked. Maybe wd40 them all to make sure they catch.
What’s your total spend on the van including purchasing and repairs to the engine etc
