Thats one impressive layout, wish I knew about this when I worked in Carlstadt. I'd love too see a 2 rail o scale layout. Love that they choose the n&w steamer too pull the circus train. Thanks for sharing heath!
Phenomenal video! I'm a member of this club and that is actually my boxcar with the club logo/name on it. I am mostly an HO Scale modeler but I do have some 2 rail O scale trains. I have been a member since 2010 and I am there every Wednesday.
Wow, impressive tour and presentation, Heath. Amazing old-time powering system, with some updates. I have no doubt you enjoyed that circus train, and for good reason!
Anthony, The control system is really impressive, it would be interesting to explore more in a future video. And I definitely enjoyed seeing the creativity of the circus train. -Heath
3:23 Wooooh! I actually thought I was standing there about to get killed after that trolly miraculously made that first curve. You know somethings gonna' give! Nice track ladders, by the way.
Looks like a very interesting place to visit, Heath. You really liked that Super Ji-Gantik Circus train. "Circus" was missing from one of the boxcars, but considering how old it is, it's in really good shape. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
I just love seeing a true 0 scale 2 rail d.c. layout 3 railers just don't understand. They could have made their layout into rail considering everything they have on the layout is modernly constructed no 027 engines from the 1950s. They always say it takes too much room as and they have a Lionel setup that's twice as big as what they're O scale railroad would have been. That's one thing I liked about MTH Premier locomotives you could order them with scale Wheels and you had a choice of two rail or 3 rail operating you just took off the third rail pickups and threw a switch. I wish somebody would make ocean L2 real track with the roadbed like you have available and HO scale and engage. Crappy phone sorry

Ian, hopefully you can get back up there one day. They do hold open houses, I think the next one is in the spring. -Heath
I wish I had room enough for O scale. There's something mighty and graceful about that circus train that is very appealing!
Mark, I agree about O scale, there is something about the scale that is just the right amount of size and grace. -Heath
Thanks for sharing this Heath. I really enjoy seeing layout vids, especially the large club layouts.
Steve, Glad you like them! I am hoping to find some more in the area. -Heath

Yes, it was in amazing shape considering the age and that it was all scratch built.

My 2-rail O Scale fiend didn’t find any 2-rail O scale locos at the Amherst show this year.
