Back when computers were much worse, cpu power, hard drive storage, and ram were limited, it WAS impressive to get 60fps, or have a game larger than 2gb. Way back a couple megabyte flash drive might have cost more then my 128gb flash drive.
@@user-wr1ne2xf6f The frame rate doesn't change, but given the context of time, the same frame rate could be seen as high in one time, and low in another. As time goes by, new technology is developed.
In other words, at the time 60FPS was a huge feat, but now it isn't. Same could be applied to your video game analogy. The biggest game 20-30 years ago would be considered a small game now. The size hasn't changed, but the context has.

4 years ago, 60FPS was something very new, especially on RUclips, so back then it was seen as insane while now it's something rather normal
Picture it - 1982, Tandy TRS-80 Coco, Dungeons of Daggorath - One of the first games ever to create the illusion of a 3d environment, and it was a totally captivating and immersive game for it's time.
60fps really helps it look like a real game

1:22, they must have done a lot of automated rotoscoping, you can see the glitching on the arm! (although it could just be the motion blur on the original footage that caused that!)
+threemoo probably not motion blur because people usually set their shutter speed to twice their frame rate (so 1/120th). Rotobrush ftw!
Luigi was the vfx artist as well! Apparently he pulled 4 all fighters in a row to get this released on schedule. Props to wren

So, even if Luigi did use all three mushrooms at once, it would still be a dumb move.
***** Then it was a dumb move. And I didn't mean literally all at once, but one after another in the same moment, with pauses between each use. Obviously that didn't translate well enough to the video. I should have added extra little pops in the boost trail to help portray that. Oh well. I pulled 5 all-nighters trying to finish this video, something things get left out.

You're definitely not spending so much for trucks + 2 wheels that you attach to your own skateboard/longboard that costs you around 100$ for skateboard and 170$ for a longboard. Technically if you're not taxed, you don't buy food for a month and you don't spend a thing for a month, with a job after university yes, with a whole month of working you can afford one.
